Final Fantasy Universe?

Discussion in 'General Final Fantasy' started by Twilight Keyblade, Feb 21, 2009.

  1. I'm sure most of us know who Gilgamesh is. As we know Gilgamesh can travel from one world to the next, and it is implied that Gilgamesh is the same guy in every game he appears in. So is it possible that all the Final Fantasy worlds actually exist in the same universe?

Dissidia also seems to imply this. Dissidia seems to imply that Chaos and Cosmos are the gods of this universe.

It is also proven that Garland is the son of Cosmos and Cosmos is the adoptive mother of Judge Gabranth. This proves that FF1 and FF12 do exist in the same universe.

    So what do you think?

    You could be right!
FF XII makes reference in the bestiary notes to a 'red winged' armada of skyships in a faraway land. kingdom of Baron. Although he's not in FF4, gilgamesh prolly could travel from world to world..he does have the same attitude and all...so maybe most of the FF games are linked, just part of a bigger world. sorta like ours with the continents.
also, wouldn't the espers in 12 imply your theory? ie: Chaos, walker of the wheel - Garland, Famfrit, the darkening cloud- DC, Zeromus (obvious) I whole-heartedly support your theory

I think you may be right as well for the reasons stated, and I think the red winged armada could also be referring to one of the fleets in IX can't remember which one though.

in FF IX does it call them the red wings? i'd say its a 4 ref, as cecil was capt. of the baron red wings, but until such info is released and made true, i doubt we shall ever know

no it doesn't actually say red wing I dont think, I think one of the armies had red as their sail colour.

What was the name of that other dissidia with Tidus, Jecht, Squall, & Ultimecia in it? That may bring evidence.
