Axel Theory (not About Reno)

    AXEL THEORY:

    Ok now that i got ur attention. i dn't mind if u post reno/axel theory's but the title is reffering to my theory.

    My theory on axel is about his weapons, element and personality.

    AXEL IS BASED ON A CHERUB!!

    ok that sounds very stupid but i have several reasons to think this:

    1.) in the bible there is a refference to cherubs, it discribes several cherubs gaurding the tree in the eastern part of the garden of eden. - now u could relate the tree to sora and roxas who axel protects

    2.) the way these cherubs defend the tree is (and i quote)'a flaming sword which turned every way'.- that explains his element 'flaming', turned every way could be seen as spinning. now close ur eyes and imagine a flaming swords spinning in a circle, would it not look like a disc of flames? jsut like when axel spins his weapons.

    3.)cherubs are generally portrayed as chubby infants with wings but as i researched the flaming sword i found a dipiction of the cherubs(they were tall silohettes with human proportions.

    anyway thats what i got. i would love to here more theories. but dn't go overboard with the reno stuff, every time axel is meantioned ppl are like RENO! RENO! RENO!

    Either you have stumbled across something here or perhaps a coincidence or maybe something inevitable. :cool:

    its not a theory about the story line its about the idea for the character, u no inspiration.
    and reno is is that guy everyone keeps saying axel is based on. look him up in the theory forums.

    And as you know, Axel is the nobody name from Ale, Reno's favorite drink. This has been confirmed by Tetsuya Nomura as well.

    it certainly does take my interest and i think you may have something there, maybe one of the creators took some of the aspects of a cherub and created axel with them in mind

    Hmm you may be right but is that all you wanted? You think the creators based Axel off of the cherubs in the Bible.
    I think your right but they do that kinda thing all the time in games especially, like in Lost Kingdoms the four legendary beasts are the same four legendary beast spoken of in Chinese constellations.
