Avatar: The Fires Shadow

Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. These were the four elements that founded our worlds being. It's been 300 years since The Last Airbender Aang defeated the powerful and vengeful Fire Lord Ozai and for the most part it has been peaeceful. A few Air Tribe nomads were found along with other Air refugees and now their nation is slowly making its way to being the great civiliazation it once was. The Fire Nations teachings from Fire Lord Zuko and later generations have changed the Fire Nations views and beliefs on life. The Water Nations wise leaders Katara and Sakka are cherished and remembered greatly as the Water Tribes of the North and the South Poles have advanced. Taff eventually surpassed the Earth Nation King and now the Earth nations government and people are much better off.

However in the far off, newly formed Shadow Nation there has been an uprising comotion as to the trail that Ozai left behind. Now the Shadow Lord otherwise known as Demon Lord Yamura has taken in Ozai's ideas of domination and obliteration and has tried to put them to the test. He makes his move on the newly formed Forest Nation sending the uproar of blood and suffering throughout our world.

Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Forest, and Shadow-these are the elements that make up our world. Now as the war begins once again we await the arrival of a new Avatar and hope for the world to be at peace once more.

Cities of the Shadow Nation-

Tsukiko(part of the Capital City),

Yamisa(A small village on the Forest/Shadow border, the people there worship Akumasono the spirit of the inbetween)

Kagerosha the Imperial City(The Capital City, it was built inside of a deep crater and the palace lies in a dormant crag volcano)

Kirigoshi(Trades village on the coast of the Nation)

Reila (A city with a corrupt government due to Yamura, they capture other benders and trie to convert them to the lifestyles of the shadow nation).

Personality: Very outgoing loves to talk he likes to be the center of attention. Derrick enjoys trainig with his friends. He is one of those guys that you can ask to do anything for anyone.

Bio: Derrick grew up in Ba Sing Se with his mother he lost his father in a war about 12 years ago. As he grew up with his mom he discoverred his ability to earthbend. His mom helped him with his training now all he does is train so he can become as good as his father was if not better. He wears his dads old Dai Li cloths which people mistake him for being a Dai Li which he enjoys because that gives him more attention. At the age of 13 he was training and a group of kids mugged him. He was hit in the back with a stick so he lost his eye site so he is now blind for life but he doesnt mind it just gives more of a reason to earth bend.

Good Profile, accepted. Heres my first character, hope I didn't overdo it.

Name: Kazuya Kirinja
Age: 18

Nation: Forest Nation

Weapon: Two Ninjato
Appearence: (Except he wears a green kimono top and the pants are just brown)

Personality: Jason is a very stubborn and hot headed person but he is also cold and hard to please. He some times becomes enraged due to confusion and flashbacks of when he was in the spirit world and had a link to Akumasono. He suffers from amnesia and can't remember what had happened during certain periods of his life.

Bio: About 18 years ago the people of Kitsuno fought for their lives against the spirit Akumasono. Kazuya's parents, the Priest and Priestess of Kitsuno were called upon to aid the villagers in protecting themselves. Kazuyoko(The Shadow Affinity-Father) and Kimiwara(The Forest Affinity-Mother) fought bravely against the spirit merely to be beaten terribly although no damage was done to Kimiwara she had been knocked out due to the spirits powers. Finding out about their soon to be child Kazuya, Akumasono had viewed it as a blessing of life that two different Affinities had been allowed to birth a child. He asked to see Kazuya's mother and then he would state the terms for a peaceful life with the people of Kitsuno. Kimiwara had awoken swiftly.

He laid down the terms, "If I leave you be and your villagers; although you have been using my land without admission for many years...You must allow me to bind this child to me, and if I so choose he will be under my command whenever I think it most plausable." The spirit demanded such an unspeakable task that Kazuya's mother forbade it. However his father and the villagers agreed on this decision. Th espirit laid his hand on Kimiwara's stomach and then retreated back into the forest.

While Kazuya was growing up he had always been looked down upon due to him having the spirits touch, which had given him snow white hair and slver eyes; alot of villagers had not had a problemm with him though...until one day the spirit decided to use Kazuya as a group of bullies picked on him. Kazuya lost his mind and killed the three bullies. No ever wanted to talk to Kazuya again after that. Eventually when Kazuya was 13 he one night killed his father without realizing it, afterwards he had disappeared. No one knew where he was or what had happened to him. He came back two years later with Akumasono not far behind. The spirit bellowed, "That was your payment for trespassing in my forest! Now take him back if you like, I have no more use for him in the spirit world." The spirit disappeared and left Kazuya lying on the ground. His mother ran to his side and then returned him to their residence. Kazuya awoke to his mothers face but he had not remembered anything that had happened in those two years he was gone or that he had killed his father and those bullies. His mother cared for him as much as she possibly could and now he suffers from vigorous flasbacks and amnesia.

Personality: Tori is very outgoing and fun loving. She always has something to say and always gets the last word in or at least she tries. She's a bit mischievious and likes to get into trouble but she's gentle natured and really just a jokester. She is very determined how ever to be serious during her battles and she always trys to do her best.

Bio: Tori is a young Air Bender who was chosen to be the future leader of the Northern Air Temple due to her skillful Air Bending techniques, although she isn't aware of how powerful she actually is. she actually was late in discovering that she could bend but her progress as an Air Bender was astounding for her to have only benn bending for two years..

When she was younger; before she obtained her Affinities blessing, she was transfered regularly between the Northern Air Temple and Water Tribe. Her relatives in both areas would debate on where she truly belonged seeing as her father and mother were seperated and lived in both. Eventually when Tori unlocked her Bending abilities the two eventually agreed to let her stay in the Air Temple considering she had more relatives there anyway, so two years ago she moved into the Air Temple permanently. Many of her relatives don't really talk to her anymore after she was chosen to rule the temple one day but she keeps going strong everday knowing that her father is there.

Personality: Keiyusetsu is hot blooded and tempermental which often gives him the drive to perform the needed tasks regularly. He is very impatient and always wants things his way. He will not hesitate to hurt others to get what the wants and he dislikes 'no' as an answer to his questions. He might seem completely aggressive and apathetic but he particularly used to be a nice guy until he was disgraced from his role of leading the Imperial Army by Fire Lord Ozenn due to some false accusations.

Thanks for the invite. I have seen quite a few of teh Avitar Series and I love them but I havent seen ALL of them so if I got something wrong just let me know and I'll fix it. Also I made two characters but if Im not supposed to then just tell me which one to delete.

Personality: Yuri is creative and mysterious. As a child she use to be kind of tempermental and very outgoing, making friends no matter where she went. But as she grew up and her parents (especially her father) put more pressure on her to grow up and be who they wanted her to be, she became more hesitant to be herself. Now she is kind of afraid to speak out of turn and she really hates being at home with her father but she still accompanies him to some of the more important meetigs of the Shadow Nation. She has worked hard to master her shadow bending and she is actually very good at it. The only thing that keeps her from being recognised for her bending talents is that she refuses to compete with others using her bending.

Bio: Yuri is the daughter of a high ranking senitor of the Shadow Nation. In her younger years she was raised by her nanny, a forest woman who traveled between Shadow, Fire and Forest Nations often for her family and her work. She would sometimes travel with the elderly woman to her home in the Forest Nation and spend days at a time there. Yuri loved to travel and she was very outgoing though when she reached age fifteen her parents found it time for her to grow up and stay where she was and learn to be more like who her father wanted her to be. at age Sixteen She was forbidden to travel outside the Shadow Nation again unless it was with her father for reasons that he found 'logical'. Since then Yuri was raised by both of her parents directly and they were much harder on her than her previous caregiver had been both when it came to her training and in dicipline. They were deturmined that she would bring her family and the Shadow Nation honor some day. She was constantly told that she needed to grow up and learn to be a help to her nation so she took those words to heart and she now acts a little TOO grown up for her age, especially around her father. She has spent many years, as an excuse to get away from home, perfecting her Shadowbending.

Personality: Jin is very self confident and cocky. He is very widley known for his skilled shadowbending. He looks up to his father very much but he truly does believe that he is the best at everything. He surves his father well and is given a lot of military power. The only thing he takes seriously is his military responsibilities and the fact that he never loses.

Bio: Son of Demon Lord Yamura, Jin wants the Shadow Nation to have domination over the other Nations more badly than, some would say, the entire Fire Nation did years ago. He is not the ruler of the Shadow nation just yet but he is the prince and there is no question that the people of the Shadow Nation respect and almost fear him.
As soon as he could walk he was put under training to perfect his shadow bending. He has always gotten everything he's wanted easily, weapons, worldly posessions, girls... all except one. Yuri hardly pays any attention to him at all which for some reason is a huge irritation to him but he doesn't show it much. Jin hates to lose which is good because he never does.

Personality: Pretty easy going and fun loving on most occasions. She makes new friends easily and when she does make friends she is very deturmined to keep them. She hates fighting and uses her bending for mostly healing arts but she can defend herself if the occasion calls for it. She is a pretty fast learner.

Bio: Sekerra was raised by her mother who was a great influence to her in her life. Her mom was not a bender so everything Sekerra knows about bending she taught herself or picked up from other benders she watched while they practiced. When she turned ten her mother died in childbirth and Kerra then took custody of her little sister, refusing to let anyone separate them. They were taken to live with their Uncle in Kitsuno. Her Uncle was a bender so he taught her everything he knew about forest bending as well. Kerra is happy enough with her life now but she wants to travel and to see more places and nations. only weeks ago she said goodbye to her little sister and Uncle and then she took off to find new horizons.

Personality: He seems cold hearted, but the fact that he stopped killing just anybody could be proof of a warm heart. He is master of his assassin arts, and no bender has ever been able to defeat him. He doesn't need his fire bending, but he can use it in the same way he uses his daggers. Quickly, and silently.

Bio: He was a member of the Fire Nations Assassin Guild at 13. He graduated with top marks at 17. No man ever wants to fight him if they know who he is. He has killed many people, and used to hire himself out to the highest bidder. How ever that changed when he met a young water bender name Kacey. She taught him that he could use his abilities to help people. She was killed in a raid from a man who wanted to bring the Fire nation back into war. Raven hunted him down, and killed him in the dead of night, thus ending that threat.

Weapon: A quarter staff, and her water bending. Mostly her bending.

Personality: Very optimistic. She's like Jaffars other half, and loves being with him. She's serious in battle, but does enjoy the occasional joke.

Bio: She was abandoned by parents that didn't want her. They had been a mundane family, and hated her water bending traits. Jaffar found her in a earth nation city, asking for handouts, and took her in. She has been with him ever since. Now they both live in Ba Sing Se, the earth nation capitol. She has always looked on the bright side, something Jaffar benefits from.

When he was fifteen his mother caught a horrible fever that eventually lead to her death. His father has been raising him ever since and is strict. He likes cold meats, beautiful women, and Shogi. He dislikes Go (the game) & cold nights.

Cloaked you do need an invite, sorry but I can't accept you. Eitherway I wouldn't have accepted it because of the magical flute which just isn't going to happen and 1. Kiyoshi would never discriminate against an Air Bender they are to traditionally honorable and if they did they would have killed her as well.

Personality: He's kind. He enjoys messing with people with his earth bending. Has a deep sense of honor.
Bio: Tom grew up in the Earth Kingdom. His family used to be travelers, but they settled down when they had him. Once he became old enough, he started traveling himself.
