    "compariosion"?
lol, Yoda is the shit though. Don't you see him use Matial arts in the Star War movies....?
Uh-oh....I'm starting to look like a Star Wars nerd, lol.
Its weird, but Yoda is one of those figures that kinda got me into Martial Arts when I was like three.

Um. What's Savate? I never did heard about that art? Don't get mad because this is my first time hearing about this art just from looking at the poll.

Yoda never used martial arts. He used the force to jump incredible distances and do amazing things. It was awesome no doubt, but there wasn't a martial art he used.

Savate is a french martial art, also called French Kickboxing. It uses both hands and feet, but limits the kicks to foot kicks only, not allowing shin kicks.

Unless there is a form of martial arts that was only flipping around and attacking the enemy with a weapon, Yoda did not use any martial arts.

Of course, if I'm wrong, please tell me what type he used.

    ......-_-
Alright, you caught me. I can't really say for sure.......He just USED DA FORCE!!!
But his ideals reminded me very much of the ideals in Judo, Karate and Kung Fu. The whole peaceful warrior thing.

...did you think that by just sayin "yeah he did" that people would be like "OH okay". Lol. Anyway, its not Yoda's ideals of a peaceful warrior, all Jedi follow that whole peaceful warrior code. And nearly all martial arts were created with defense in mind, not for someone to learn to fight and just club someone. Some were of course, but not all.

Yea, I have to agree with Desert. Yoda really was using a different art with those laser weapons when he fight & it seems that didn't look like the Judo art . His attaks & ideals reminding you of something, ok, I understand, but he is not actually using the art that you think he is only because he used the force. & Zenrot, I think that defense is a good offense, especially if they have the defense in mind.

My point was that the development of most martial arts its for clarity, master over ones body, and self defence.

I can't think of anyone, in reality or in a movie, or count on pure brute strength in the art(s) that they're using Zenrot. I know where you is coming from. Did you ever seen someone who ever go reckless in a art that they use, whether for practice or in a fight, against someone who use defense? Not only that, the art(s) themselves will keep on improving along with time & generation. Don't get me wrong here about that one & this one that I'm about to say, but what is the use of clarity?

  19. Okay, none of us can jump 118927 feet in the air. When you get shot you die.
