    I'm just so curious as to what type of music soothe people. Is it hip hop? Gospel? Country? Tell about your favorite music & why is it your favorite. Why does it moves your soul? You can pick more than one music if you want.

    Electronic; the catchy beats make me feel like I'm at the top of the world and I can instantly forget my worries only seconds into the song. (lolhighplz)

    However, from the list, I would say rock. Not the rock that will blast my ears out, but just ... rock. xD;;;

    There's, like, a type of music with electronic-y beats in the background while the singer sings, right? I'm not totally sure what the genre is actually called, so I just called it electronic. xDDD;;;; Maybe I'm thinking of hip hop?

    What would you call Yoko Shimomura music? Instumental perhaps? Most of his sounds help me SOOTHE and and I'm able to read some books then. But most of the time I just have Rock (Heavy Punk, Metal, Heavy, Scremo, Growlo's etc) ripping through my speakers. Sometimes J-Pop from animes appear to be playing, they seem to be a joke but I listen to them, Utada Hikaru's "Dream" sounds are nice as well. The OP of Elfen Lied appears to be some form of Gospel, I enjoy it's creepy tune but not so much the lyrics.
    All these genres that I have listed just come on when I read Novels in my spare time or wait while I'm on the train.

    p.s there should be an "Other" option.

    You saying classical music? I didn't think anyone would listen to that here. Ok. One for classical. Also, I think you is thinking of techno music. I never did think anyone here would listen to those two.
