Chronicles of Narnia: The New Leaders

He clciked his fingers and the soil beneath her fell, making a large pit. "I now can use my powers, foolish girl." It growled. Large spiders started pouring into the pit.

 

The sword swung once as he ducked the attacks. The sword hit her arm, causing a deep scratch and sending her flying to the ground. All the animals gasped in horror as Sussy hit the ground. Then a noise could be heard, like running steps and a sword bieng unsheathed. Will jumped between his sister and the demon as it struck, blade clashing with the dark broadsword.

In all the confusion, Zarath escaped. He kew Sussy could take care of him now that she had her god powers. But when he was near Art, he felt something different. Like there was something else inside Art. He'd always felt it, but it was stronger this time....

After Zarath ran away, he as lead by the werewolf to a cave full of werewolves. Inside......their leader, the great white won sat. He was different than the others, he was more like a human in his stance, but his power was even stronger than a werewolf. He was pure white, and his eyes shown like fire.

"......."-Werewolf King
"!..........Who....who are you? Your.....you seem so familiar?........ What are you?!"-Zarath
"I am what you do not know of. I am a creature that which you'll never see. Your body is weak.....mortality still runs in your veins. I thought you were a god, boy? Don't you want to become a god like your brother?"-Werewolf King
"....my...brother........
Tell me....what do you know of my brother? Who is he?"-Zarath
"Heh..ha....wahahahahahahahaha! Your a fool for a god. You must be one of us.....a Twilight....an inbetween. HAHA! You really want to know?"-Werewolf King
"....wait a minute.....who are y-"-Zarath...remembering slowly
"...wait....that night......a storm......roen and ....a boy. there was a wolf boy......he was always following Roen and wanting to hold me. I was......so young......
Then I remember....my parents. My human ones. Then.....they died......
WHo.......why was Roen holding me?"-Zarath
"You remember? Good. Think....use your consciounse as a god to find the truth."-Werewolf King
"I....I cant......."-zarath
"C'mon.......tell me the truth!!"-Werewolf King
"You.....your.....Drek?"-Zarath
"Yes.......I am apart of him. But you must remember the last part......remember them.....remember your birth!!"-Werewolf King
As he shouted, the whole room became like a dark portal...sucking the room in. Zarath had a huge headache, and he was utterly confused. Zarath disappeared, and was in the Forest of the Tree of Life. He saw Drek....asleep near the tree.
"....your.......no, it cant be....."-Zarath

 

".......he's......he's......my-"-Zarath
Zarath was interupted by Roen coming down and attacking Zarath. Zarath was able to block the attack in time.
"Zarath! Help me destroy Drek once and for all. Only then can we rule the worlds...."-Roen
"What!? Your the evil one! Once Drek gives himself to the Tree, you'll be finished!!"-Zarath
"So.....thats what he planned on doing.......
so he......he will die. I've...truly been a fool."-Roen
There was a long pause. Then Roen's anger grew.
"No........I AM KING!!!!!"-Roen
He turned to Zarath and slashed. Zarath blocked it. They went at eachother, blocking each others attacks and flying all over the Forest.
"You will LOSE!!"-Roen
"...NO! I have to save my friends! You want everyone to be destroyed because you HAVE NONE!! ....You have nothing to protect anymore....
I almost feel sorry for you......"-Zarath
Roen gave one last swing, but Zarath slipped past him and sent his blade straight through Roen's back.
Time stopped. Everything seemed to freeze. Roen's body started to dissappear.
"I guess......I guess your meant to be.....the Guardian. My eyes are open now Zarath. But you arent done. Drek must become the New Tree......and you must kill my demon seed. But know....please know.....that i am sorry for being a bad father......."-roen (dissappearing/dissolving)
"Wha-!?!"-Zarath
Roen's body faded....and then Drek's body glowed. The Tree began to wither, but Drek fused with the Tree, and they became one. The Tree came back to life. And it glowed with a gold and purple light.
"Its time. Its time to destroy Roen's demon..."-Zarath

 

"lets go get Will. And Raine and Aslan. We'll need everyone for this one. Heh, funny.....I really thought in the beginning that Drek was the bad guy. But now that he's gone.....I'm sad..."-Zarath

 

Aslan's roar silenced all the narnians pressing forward. "This is William's fight, let him compete." He said. Will pushed the broadsword to the side but it quickly swung back. "Boy, just give up your brother. He is hopeless, as is your cause." The demon chuckled, sword flicking towards Will's head. Will guarded and grunted. "He's as hopeful as I am." He growled. The demon chuckled. "Boy, you cannot defeat a horseman of the apocalypse." It hissed, swinging again. The narnians had pulled Art aside and they had formed a circle around the young king and the demon.

 

Zarath jumped into the Narnian pool. He landed inbetween the Rider and Will.
"Get out of there Zarath!!"-Raine
Zarath grabbed Sussy as she came through, and pulled her to the side with him.
"This is Will's fight Sussy. Lets not get involved."-Zarath

 

The swords flashed faster and faster, blocking and striking. Will felt the horseman's joy as he was worn down, but he had hurt Sussy, he would kill the demon. Will's sword flashed forward, plunging through the horse and knocking the rider off. The rider flipped and landed, swinging at Will. The black swords clashed together, sparking a light blue like the aura of Will's sword. "That's right boy, your precious sister will die next." The demon hissed, striking at Will's throat. Will's sword flashed up and knocked it to the side, allowing him to swing. Then he swung back, finally taking to the offense.

 

"C'mon Will!!"-Raine
"if you need help, just give us the word!"-Zarath

 

Aslan growled. "No narnian is to strike this demon. If Will falls then Zarath takes his place." Aslan roared. Will didn't pay attention, allowing his sword to fly through the demon's guard and slice his arm slightly. It hissed like a snake then it's blade swung quickly towards Will's ribs.

 

Aslan stood in front of Susan as Will guarded. "Susan, do not interfere! It is William's fight for his brother!" He growled. Will's sword flicked towards the demon but it guarded, swinging back. He ducked the blade and sliced the demon's leg, causing it to fall. Will's blade turned to deal the final blow but it was blocked, the demon rising quickly. It's hand plunged into Will's chest, sending darkness into his heart. Will started to feel like he failed, like he let Sussy and Zarath down. His sword slowly plunged into the demon's chest as these thoughts crossed his mind. Both fighters fell to their knees, both dying slowly.

 

Zarath was in shock.
Raine appeared, and grabbed Will before he hit the ground, and dragged him out of the way. Zarath stepped forward, proclaiming Will's victory to the Narnians, holding up the head of the dark rider. But in his heart he knew.....3 more riders still existed....somewhere......

 

Zarath dropped the head, as some Narnian creatures took it and threw it in the eternal fire. Zarath walked over to Sussy.
"Well, once Will's ready we should head to the Tree of Life. From there we'll get a portal to the realm of chaos. We just gotta make sure we're all ready........Hey! Hello? Are you listening?"-Zarath
Zarath noticed Sussy was distracted by something. She seemed frustrated.
"Sussy? What wrong?"-Zarath
