Another Kingdom Hearts Story III~
Children of Light and The Dark




Many years ago, a group of young people went through the impossible. Facing darkness along their path. It was time for kingdom hearts to pass the power into a human, that human was a special young 14 year old. During the time of her transformation to say, she was kidnapped by an evil man. Soon to be rescued by her friends and the love of her life.



A year later the young girl and her friends began training and teaching young students to be servants of light, along the way stopping darkness and saving the very man who kidnapped the girl before, from being possessed by a demon.



Everybody began living a happy life and soon began growing up. Now those young kids are adults with their own families. The older of the people are grandparents, great grandparents, or have moved on. What has happened exactly though?



Young Will and Miss. Nana Hart soon got married; they’re starting their own family. Will has finally gained control of his anger. The parents of the Hart children have began their retirement, soon for the father to pass away and same with the mother. Young Jacob has begun his senior year of college, studying the paranormal; even know he is paranormal by being a soul servant of light. Polaris and Sera have moved on and now reside in kingdom hearts; they come down to Destiny Island often though, however in a soul servant form. Lara and her husband have moved away, everybody knows one day they’ll see them again. Twila and Shonix now travel everywhere and are married themselves. The kingdom hearts council is still watching over the new mother, kingdom hearts, and proud wife. Who would that be? That would young Miss. Kingdom Hearts, Niki Hart, now married to Shino. They are living a happy life. They have their own family.



Something is beginning to rise though. However Niki is not the target, her children are. The children of light, it’s their turn to face the darkness like their mother and father have. Can they do it? It’s their turn.

A young girl woke up hearing her older brothers alarm clock. She put a pillow over her head. She woke up and saw it was 6:30 in the morning. She swung out of bed and went to the bathroom taking a shower to wake up. Soon she got dressed and went downstairs seeing her father and brother watching the news and her mother in the kitchen cooking.

"Morning." Her mother, Niki said. Kate just waved and sat down. Niki crossed her arms. She just shook her head and got Kate some pancakes.​

 

Shino arisen out of bed, after hearing the alarm clock, that his son, set. He got changed into his clothes and walked down the stairs, to see Kate, eating her pancakes and Niki making pancakes.
"Good morning dad"
Shino looked around and saw Koen.
"Morning, Koen, you going to have any pancakes"
"Yeah...if there is maple syrup"
"Ofcourse we have maple syrup"
Koen smiled and ran down the stairs, grabbing a plate of prepared pancakes and syrup. His mother, put a smily face on it, like always. He then got a knife and a fork and sat down, by his father, watching the news.
"Dad, anything happening throughout the worlds?"
"No, not much"
"Then you must not get much work today?"
"Yeah, your mother and I don't have much to do"
Koen bit into the smooth texture of the pancake and the sweet aroma filled his nose, beckoning him to eat more. The pancake was very tasty and the maple syrup tingled his tongue with it's sweet taste.
"After school, can we throw the ball and play with everyone, as a family?"
"I'm sure we can do that" Shino answered.
"Cool"
Koen ran off, after finishing his pancake and got his school bag. He soon was ready for school. Koen saw his mum, streak past him.
"Mum, I'm ready"

 

"Ok. You not walking today?" Niki asked.

"I am." Kate said. Ale came walking down the stairs on his cell phone.

"Yeah trust me today after school I'll teach you how to surf." Ale said talking to his girl friend. Kate smiled at that, that meant she and her best friend could go to the island not worring about him following them.

 

Koen shook his head.
"No I'll be walking"
He gave his mum, a kiss on the cheek and waved goodbye to his dad. Then he walked out of the house, wondering about how today's classes will be today. Will they be good?
"John will probably keep talking about Kate again and how much he likes her...." he said to himself. Koen sighed and saw John come up from the path that intersects through the path he was walking through. John was Koen's best friend.
"Hey Koen"
"Hi"
They walked upto the school, that was rather large but not too big. The area of the school was around 700x700m, including the school field. Koen and John entered inside the school and sat down on a table in the multi purpose room.
"So, can you talk to Kate at all about how she feels about me?"
"I'm not sure, John, that's a little awkward...maybe you should talk to her yourself?"
"Yeah, you're right. I'll ask her out today" John replied, unsure.
Koen really had enough of the whole, I like Kate thing. He started to read a book.
"Hey, what are you reading, Koen?"
"Sails of the Pink Skies...you know that book, I have to read for English?"
"Yeah, I have to do that next semester"
John was staring at the front doors of the school, waiting for Kate.

 

Kate walked in with Mirisa and Ale close to them holding his girl friend Alex close.

"So anyway do you think that I could sleep over then?" Mirisa asked.

"I'm sure you could." Kate said to her friend.

"Don't count on things until you ask mom though Kate." Ale said then walked off. Kate shrugged.

 

John looked at Koen with an awkward expression.
"Come on, you can do it"
John nodded and he walked over to Kate, with his heartbeat going really fast. He couldn't breathe.
"Hi...hi Kate, can I talk to you?"

Koen looked at what was happening from the table, a few meters away, smiling and wondering how his sister will respond to his best friend, asking her out.

 

"Ummm sure..." Kate said looking at him. They walked over to an empty table Mirisa following. They sat down. Mirisa got out her not so finished math homework.

"Ok now what is it?" Kate asked him.

 

"Um.....um...."
John blushed and looked away at a poster of eating healthily with a cartoon boy eating a red apple.
"would you....would you....go out with me?"

 

The bell rang on what he was saying Mirisa was happy because she heard him and looked at Kate who looked confuse.

"What did you say, the bell rang." Kate said. Students were leaving the room as she began gathering her stuff up.

 

"Uh...uh....would you, go out with me?" he asked, looking at her pack her school bag. he was upset that she couldn't hear him, the first time.
Koen sighed, while walking to his first class of the day, Maths.

 

"Huh, ummm sure I guess. I'm busy today, friday Mirisa might be coming over, saturday I'm free." Kate said. Mirisa stood up while the two walked away laughing heading to their first period class.

"So, what did I tell you." Mirisa said.

"Ok I guess you were right he did liked me some." Kate said to Mirisa while they walked to class.

"Oh and what was with the 'ummm sure, I guess' thing?" Mirisa asked.

"I was playing it cool, I didn't want to freak him out with a burst of yes, that why I have my bedroom." Kate said to her.

 

John sat down in his English class, with a smile on his face but there was something bugging him.
"Huh, ummm sure I guess" her voice said, ringing around his mind.
She didn't seem that bothered about it, it looked like it was just a normal thing to her. He did a few questions on comphrehension but he didn't do much, he was thinking too much about Kate.

 

The two girls sat down in their history class. The day went fast and soon it was lunch time...



At Home...

Niki sat at the computer typing up an anual report. She looked over at Shino.

"I wonder what Kate said to John." Niki said. She printed teh report out and put it in the filer cabinet. She swivled around looking at Shino to then see a light appear behind her in rainbow colors. It was Rainbow.

"Rainbow!" Niki exclaimed standing up. She walked over hugging her.

"What's up with you?" Rainbow asked.

"Nothing, what brings you here?" Niki asked.

"It's Ale's birthday this weekend, you know, and we have a gift for him, and each of your children actually, we're going to make them children of the light. They'll all be given special powers." Rainbow said. Niki stepped back.

"Really, that's cool." Niki said to her.

 

Christopher appeared, beside Rainbow.
"Hey guys, I guess you heard the news, yeah we're giving special powers to the children. Kate, the power of healing, Koen, the power of fire, Ale, the power of lightning and ice and Erin, the power of water....oh and by the way, Shino, Adam's doing fine with Jia"

 

"I thought we agreeded that they were all to have those powers and each and everyone would get a special power like Niki with her kingdom hearts form." Rainbow said looking at Christopher.

"Well here's how it's going, the twins will be having the power of the stars and gemini, Ale the power of the guardian. Kate we couldn't resist and well she inherited some of that anyways, the angel of love or light, love sounds cooler though." Rainbow said smiling. Niki laughed at how Rainbow said Love.

"Calm down now, that's how we planned it, but Christopher is also right, what he said will be their strongest." Harold said appearing.



Back at School...

It was lunch time for Kate and Mirisa. The two headed in and sat down soon to see Ale sit down with his girl friend.

"Ale, why do you follow us around?" Kate asked.

"Well because you, Koen, and Erin are my little siblings, now where are those two at?" Ale asked looking around. Mirisa leaned over near Kate's ear.

"If they were smart, they're skipping lunch." Mirisa said as Kate laughed.

 

"Hey, I'm still pretty uninformed around the council, I don't get enough information!" Christopher exclaimed, annoyed at Rainbow.

Back at the school, John walked around the hallways, trying to find any friends, to eat lunch with. He saw a table with Koen sitting by himself so he sat down on the opposite bench of the table and grabbed his lunch.
"How did it go, John?"
"Great, I officially have a date"
"That's brilliant"
"But..."
"What?"
"...her response was "Oh um sure I guess", what does that mean?"
"Oh, she's probably just trying to mess with your head or she might be really excited but doesn't want to show that she is"
"Oh, I guess you're right"
John began to eat his cheese, brown breaded sandwich.
"So, what about you Koen, are there any girls you fancy?"
"I don't know...Mirisa or Jasmine....I'm not really fussed at the moment about that stuff, you know?"
"Yeah...so you fancy Mirisa?"
John began to giggle a little.
"Hey!" Koen exclaimed, jokily.
John and Koen laughed and continued to eat their lunch.

 

"Oh there he is." Ale said standing up.

"Hey Koen!" Ale yelled to him. Not to many people looked. Kate shook her head. Ale looked down at her and he sat down.

"What?" Ale said.

"Ale, we're 14 and he's 15, we're old enough to protect ourselves." Kate said to him. Mirisa nodded.

"Oh yeah proove it." Ale said to her.

"Mom." Kate said. The family never told the story of their mother only because of worried about becoming to pouplated and not having any true friends.Ale knew though what she meant and turned to her girlfriend.

 

John and Koen walked upto them.
"Hey guys" Koen said, smiling at Mirisa and the others.
"Hi, Kate....how are you?" John asked, in a soft tone.

 

Kate looked up.

"Oh hi." Kate said. Mirisa shook her head and rested it on her hand. She looked back up at Ale eyeing them. She was curious what mom went.

"Anyways, what made you quite by her saying mom?" Mirisa asked. Ale perked up along with Kate and Koen.

"Well umm, it's, it means that she could easily defeat me with reasons." Ale said. Kate looked at him with a look saying 'what!?'.

 

"What do you mean, Ale?" Koen asked.

Meanwhile, thinking that John was doing a favour for his best friend, he walked upto Mirisa and whispered in her ear "Koen likes you"
John then got his water bottle out of his bag and filled it up in the water fountain, wondering if he did the right thing.
