Traditional competitions.

    For the Traditional Showcase section, is it we have some more short stories, art and poem competitions? It's good that the digital showcase has competitions for the avatars and the signatures but the traditional showcase should have competitions for that too.

    -_______- It's not even hard. All you have to do is to make up a poem, haiku, art or short story based on the theme (Or if it's not a theme, make up a poem if you want in your own way.) that the competition is required to have. And the art part is easier because you can do it by hand. There should be people who are interested and people who would actually compete.

    Anyhoo, I'd love to compete as well. I've been wondering why there were only graphics competitions. This could be something fresh for the forum. New is almost always a good thing.

    I never said it would be hard. But I know that there have been competitions in that section in the past and the turn out was not good.

    It seems like there would be enough interest for now to justify starting a competition. Is anyone interested in running it? If not, I'll see what I can do.

    -___- There was no competitions started in the traditional thread to begin with. The only competition that was traditional was started by Kairi Star and the rest was just signatures which was supposed to be in the digital section anyways (Thanks to Avalantos, yourself and Demaian for making that mistake.)

    None of us made a mistake, thank you. For some reason, the Competition subforum in the Traditional Showcase is the same as the one in Digital Showcase. They've been melded together, I guess, or the links are screwy. None of us three decided to put up a sotw in the wrong area. And perhaps there has only been one competition while you've been a member here, but I think there have been others in the past that were at least talked about, but which never really went anywhere. Whatever.

    I'm going to close this thread now and open a thread in Traditional to discuss suggestions for the competition.
