Hunters

Lync looked at him and said "Its because..... they have left me." "Apparently, I am no use to him anymore......" "My own master, the one that even taught me sword fighting, doesn't even care about me anymore." "He was like..... a father to me." He then looked down and said "I'm sorry Wolf." "You shouldn't see me in this condition."

Lora was happy as ever, she had her boys back, Space and Lync, the only two she trusted. It was weird that he could turn into a monster but still. "Lync, i am so happy your back, i missed you." Lora said and hugged him, she would never do this but it was a good reason too. Wolf looked at her surprised," I hug people, just not you." she said she turned back to Lync, "Listen to me, dont ever hit me again or i'll shoot you." she said to him, "But i'm still happy that your back, now things will be back to normal a little." she said.

 

Reonarudo sat next to his brother Butsuchiru within the moving ship that was heading back to Grahl's lair. Reonarudo's thoughts went back to the recent events and it had plagued him greatly. It was the first time in a long time that he had ever felt a sense of sorrow for his actions. The last he ever did was when he was taken in by a family that had found him on the shores passed out and injured. They had taken him in and taught him gentleness in a world that had shown him nothing but cruelty and loss.

Butsuchiru noticed his brother's expression and took hold of his shoulder, "Brother...what is the matter?"
Reonarudo snapped out of his thoughts and weakly smiled at his brother, "It's nothing...I was simply thinking..."

 

Chapter V

Resistance is Futile

(HK said I could start the chapter.)

Lync looked at Lora and said "I'm sorry Lora." "I didn't mean to." "I couldn't help it, I was being controlled." He then turned to Wolf and said "But I came to my senses and decided I will fight this injection and join back to you guys." He then smiled and said "And I'm happy I did come back because, deep in my heart, I missed you guys."

 

Lync looked at him and said "Thanks Wolf." "I don't think I can fight off the nanobots any longer." When he said that, he let out of a laugh and suddenly he felt something in his chest hurt.. He held his chest in pain and fell to the ground. He looked at Wolf with tearing eyes and said "Wolf.....Help me! "He grabbed Wolf with a free hand and gripped Wolf's arm and said "Wo....Wolf." "Help....me." He then suddenly closed his eyes and fell unconsious.

 

Lora looked back at Wolf,"Dont worry, he's a strong person, he'll be okay." Lora told him, but even in herself, she was feeling doubt. She looked back at Wolf, he had did so much for her, and helped many times over, and all she does is act like a ass to him, she liked him alot, but she didn't want him to know it, she didn't even want herself to know it. If anything she was going to stop being so mean."Hey Space, i know you got alot on your mind right now, but i wanted you to know i'm sorry for being such a ass to you all the time, i mean you've helped me so much and i dont even say thanks, so i'm sorry, and i hope you will forgive me." she said to him, he looked her in the eyes and right at the moment, she wanted to be with him, but she put that thought out of her mind, it would never mom.

Dan was getting his injuries hecked, they where okay so he didn't really need anything, but he still made sure he was okay. He did bad today very bad, he wasn't able to stop Garlh, or even save anybody he would never become as good as a hunter as Wolf, o Reo, or Lync. He wouldn't go down in history at all. He got his two fighting Knives and cleaned them off, sharpened them and put them in there cases. He thought about what Wolf had said before how there where two planets left, whatever one they went too, that's where he would make his stand and name.

Tia woke up, she looked out a window and she was in space, she didn't know where but she was going to find Wolf and tell him about Lync. He had, he was a traitor, she would never forgive him. She got up to look for Wolf, but she was till tired so went back to sleep. She didn't know what room it was but it had a big bed, so she slept.

 

Dan walked into the the main room of the ship, he saw Wolf and walked over to him, "Sir, i wanted to apologize for my actions today on the mission, it was bad, i did not do my best and i failed to stop Grah. I'm sorry i caused so much trouble on are team." he told him, Maybe it was the Indian inside him that made him feel so ashamed and made him lose pride in himself. He looked up at Wolf as he laugh at this, he did not know what so funny to him but he asked" What is so funny?"

 

Lora jumped out of her seat and ran off with Wolf, Dan lucky had kept his knives with him and was ready. Lora just had two pistols with her. "What is it? What's wrong?" Lora asked Wolf, she didn't know what was so bad about that big ship, Pirates maybe? Whatever it was she hoped they weren't hostile.

Tia woke up, the ship had stopped, they were still out in space but they weren't moving, weird. She got up and picked up her gun, she didn't have many shots left. She walked outside of the room and went down the hall, maybe they were being attacked? She didn't no, but when she turned the corner she ran into the last person she wanted to see, Wolf. "Wolf, hey there, um i sunk on your ship...again, but enough about me, why is the ship stopped?"

 

Dan held his kives in his hand but let them fall to the ground, but in his reach just in case, he looked over as Lora and Tia did the same he wondered what these robots wanted anyways.

Lora for some reason did not like Tia, she hated her, when she looked her way, she just wanted to spit at her but held her spit in for another day. If she ever tired to mess with Wolf again she'd blow her head off, but what was she thinking? That was a little over board. She looked to Wolf, "Not such a great warrior are Space? It's just three of them with four of us." she said, ticked that she couldn't shot them.

 

As Wolf entered the engine room Will was already on them working at his fastest pace. "Sir, status update shows that one has been shot with an EMP and the other was hit by the shockwave. Also a fuel line busted below in the bottom deck." He said, working on reversing the effects of the EMP overload. This worked just like his armor. If it was overloaded with power then you load it up with more than it took to shut it down. "Only one source powerful enough near here." He muttered, flipping a few switches on his gauntlet and putting his hands on the engine. Power from his armor's generator started pumping into the engine, slowly shutting his suit down.

 

Will's pistol rang out as another terrabot fell behind Wolf. "Watch your back sir..." He said sluggishly. His armor was almost completely shut down as he let his arm fall from the engine as it restarted. It was going enough to get them out of there but he was almost a statue for at least a minute. "Sir, keep them off of me for a moment please..." He crackled from within the armor.
