Hunters

Lyn sat in his chair while cleaning his gun. He heard Wolf calling him. "Whats wrong?" Just as he got up, the bullets in his pocket popped out and fell on hte floor. "Dang." He then bent down and started picking up the bullets. He put them in his pocket and walked into the cockpit. He looked at Wolf and said "Whats wrong?"

 

Lync looked at him and said "Yes." "I am one of the four hunters after all." He then took over the pilot seat and started flying. He handled the the controls ver carefully. He also paid a lot of attention on the sky. He smirked and said "Now this is nice." He was so happy to be in the sky.

 

"Apologies Grahl, but that ain't my problem." Zain called through his ships intercom. He had jumped into his fighter and had gone out in pursuit of Grahls ship. "Inshalla, set to automatic pilot when i leave the ship. Confirm order." "Order Confirmed." "Standy by to eject. Eject." He jumped away from his ship as the screen shot off. He executed a flip, and landed on Grahls vessel. He didn't need to watch the Inshalla peel off. Its engines screamed as it shot into high altitude to wait for his command to come and retrieve him. He kicked a still stunned Grahl in the chest. He fell back with a "whoosh" as all his air escaped. "Wolf, you green or something? How did a punk like him beat you." Grahl raised his hands. Zain smiled. "I hate fist fighting. I like to..." He drew both his guns. "...Right to the chase." Grahl went pale as Zain cocked both guns. "One shot is all i need. You get to pick were it hits. Your head or your legs. What will it be?"

 

Will jumped onto Grahl's ship, sliding the SNPKR Launcher onto his back and landing neatly next to Wolf. "Lync, brng her back around, I have Wolf!" He roared, jumping from the ship's launch bay. He held Wolf and went into a skydiving position. "Wolf, are you ok?" He barked into his friend's ear.

 

Lync looked at him and said "Got it." He then started turning the ship around. He then talked into his intercom and said "Don't worry Wolf, we're coming." As he flew the ship, there was a sudden bang. "Agh, what happened?" He looked out to the sky and saw that Grahl had some reinforcements, his sky raid.

 

Will saw the raid and drew the SPNKR Launcher and aimed it one handed homing in on a ship. He let a missle fly, decimating a ship as he continued to fall. "Lync, we got about 1 minute until Wolf and I hit the cliff!" He barked into the com. "Hurry up!" He homed into another ship and shot, knocking that one out as well. "Wolf, are you ok?" He shouted into his friend's ear.

 

"Inshalla. Return and pick me up." Zain said into his communicator. The ship shot down from the sky, and Zain jumped in. The canopy closed up again, and his command display came online. Pulling up Wills communicator, he said, "Will, get Wolf out of here. I'll hold of Grahls friends as long as possible, but this is not a atmosphere fighter, and it won't be easy on my part. See you guys at the rendezvous." Closing the com window, Zain said, "Inshalla, power up weapons and shields." "Weapons and Shields on. Warning, Missle L4 will not fire." "Damn, thats right." He growled, before pushing his ship as fast as it could go without breaking it. He let loose with a blast of lasers, but the enemy ships were much better suited to atmosphere, and they dodged.

 

Will growled, gritting his teeth. "Zain I have him but we're about to hit the rock face! We need a pickup, either you or Lync!" He barked, slinging the SPNKR onto his back and trying to slow their descent as much as possible. "Come on guys... we need you to come and get us..." He muttered, holding Wolf tight.

 

"I'll see what i can do." Zain replied, then barrel rolled away from a few shots sent at him. "Inshalla, power on tractors." "Tractors on." A light on his board turned green. "Target Will." "Targeting... Targeted." "Activate tractors." A gray beam shot away from his ship and surrounded Will and co. "Shields configure to aft." "Reconfigured." He turned his ship, and pulled the team towards his ship. "Open the bay doors on port." There was a change in pitch as part of the ship was opened to the outside. "Doors open." "Guide em in." He continued moving away from the attack ships until his computer said, "They are now inside the ship." "Close the doors." "Doors closed." Was said in accompaniment to a slam. He pulled up on his control stick, and shot away from the planet. "Set hyper space coordinates." "Destination." There was a blast. A few fighters had appeared, and a attack cruiser was closing in. "Anywhere but here." He shouted, pulling his ship to the right. "I'm just gonna assume you want friendly space." "And no lip either." His missile warning light came on. "Missiles locked on us." "Tell me something i don't know." He managed to lock onto one of the missiles, and shot it away. The other detonated in the debris field. "Nice." "Coordinates set." "Finally." He turned his ship onto the projected path, and slapped the engage button. The engines whined, and he shot away into the safety of hyper space. He unclipped him self from his seat, and headed aft to greet his friends.

He found the team sitting in a few chairs in his living space. "Welcome aboard the Inshalla. Sorry, but we kinda had to leave your stuff behind. I was in a big hurry."

 

Will stood, setting Wolf to the side. He went to an ammunition crate next to a bay door and grabbed a missle pack, opening the SPNKR Launcher's ammunition bay and ramming the cartridge into the open port. He then slapped a button to open the bay door and started to aim at the incoming fighters. He shot two of them down and then shut the door, slinging the launcher onto his back.

"You, watch what you do in space dude. You'll turn my ship inside out." "Approaching destination." "And thats my cue. Time to turn around." He headed to the cockpit, then set coordinates for the blind side of the planet. "This goes against everything i stand for, going back to a place i just ran from." He sat back to wait for his computer to crunch some numbers.

 

Will grinned. "I jumped onto the ship and picked you up, jumping from the ship. Zain came and picked us up." He said, grinning as he pulled his helmet off. He let the Mark VI MJOLNIR helmet clatter to the floor. "He got away Wolf... Grahl got away..." He said, clenching his fist. "It's my fault, I was too anxious..."

 

Lync stood there in the ship as he saw Will and Wolf talking. He got away from his ship by hitting the teleporter watch that he had on his wrist. Too bad that it had only one use left. "I have to get this thing fixed." He ten started walking over to Wolf and will and said "Nice to see that you are ok sir."

 

Lync looked at him and said "Sorry sir, just trying to cheer you up." He then chuckled along with him. Lync then sighed and said "Sorry that I wasn't much help sir." "I mean I'm one of the 4 hunters and I hardly did anything except fly a ship." He then sighed and said "This was partially my fault."
