Hunters

Will grinned and threw a blue grenade that lit up bright as it stuck to a bandit's face. Four others tried to help him pry it of with no succesion as it blew up maybe ten bandits. "I'd say about 126, coming from both sides. What do you say we do the two faced beast?" He asked, switching to his BR55 Battle Rifle.

 

Butsuchiru smiled from afar at the chaos slowly unfolding. "Yes Lycn submit to your true self . . . become the beast. Unleash it. Maybe then you'll really know who you are." He lifted up his wrist and saw a digital reading of Lycn's cellular mutation. He looked at a button that said, "Initiate" and clicked it. The cells in his body began to be invaded by more of the wolf cells, attacking them, mutating them. He clicked his intercom and spoke to Grahl, "Grahl . . . it is done. Phase one complete."

Lora was trying to understand, but it was kinda confusing, she shot at a few bandits, and kept a eye on Lycn, she really didn't care if he died, but when she was not around. He kept yelling so Lora ran next to where Wolf and Will where and shot at the bandits that were coming. She looked to wolf and yelled"NEXT TIME DONT BRING ME TO A PLACE WITH BANDITS!" Lora said to him"Like i really wanted to die down here by some 100 bandits." Dont you have like a bomb or something or some super shield?" A banit was coming and she shot it, she was very mad mostly at herself for being so confused and confusing. She just coudn't act straight today.

 

Butsuchiru spoke into the com and said in a low voice, "Acknowledged . . ."

Meanwhile, in the hospital, Heza lay down on her bed in critical condition. As she lay there she looked to left and saw that someone had left her a bouquet of white roses, her favorite. "Reo . . ."

Reo began to run towards the entrance of the tunnel but was halted by a throwing knife. He looked at the one who threw it and saw the portraiture, Butsuchiru. "My, my," he began, "looks like this mission won't be dull at all with you around.

 

Will crouched behind Wolf's legs, potshotting with the BR55 Battle Rifle at the bandits. He heard Wolf's gun kick behind him and he smiled. It was usually him and Lync doing this but it felt good to do it again. He headshotted another bandit and grinned as he slid another mag home. "Wolf, tangos coming up on the right." He said to his friend.

 

Butsuchiru began to prance about mocking Reo while he had his hand on his katana. "Now, now Reo, don't look at me like that. All i'm trying to do is show you which side you really should be on."

Reo spat on the ground and spoke to him in low, cold tone of voice, "Yeah, by hurting someone very close to me? Messing with my comrades, and ultimately, trying to get me to join some bastard that's tried to destroy my race, to hell I'll join you!" He rushed in, unsheathing his katana and attempting to stab him. Butsuchiru grinned wildly and readied himself, "Oh yes . . .!"

 

Lora looked at him and said "Thanks but I don't need your help." WHen she got up, she smiled a little because Wolf did that. She then pointed her gun out as the bandits kept getting closer. Lorastarted shooting at them with all shes got. "Why aren't they letting up?!" As they kept getting closer, one of them knocked the gun out of Lora's hands. "Damn!" The one that did that pulled a knife out and started motioning towards her. "Stay back." "I mean it!" As the bandit was about to stab her, There was a large howl. Lora looked back and saw Lync standing there with glowing amber eyes. "Lync!" Lync tackled the bandit and when to finish off all the rest. Once he was done, Lora looked at him and said "Lync." "Are you ok?" After she said that, all he did was just give her a cold, sinister smile.

 

Lora looked at him and said "Ok." "Just save Lync." "Hes the only I can trust around here." She then started running to find Will. As she left, Lync grabbed Wolf's neckand through him to a wall. He then let out a huge howl and he got closer to Will. His wolf's instincts were going out of control. Somewhere deep in Lync's mind, the old Lync cries out quietly "....WOlf."

 

Butsuchiru slided bck and grabbed Reo's wrist and chopped him on the neck. Reo went down on his knees and Butsuchiru raised a powerful knee and made devastating contact to his ribs. The ribs vibrated, then crackled. "AAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!"

Butsuchiru flipped him over and picked up the same butterfly knife and held it at his throat. "Now watch as your dear friend submits to his own body!" He clicked on a button that said, "Consume" and watched as the same cells overloaded and began to convert the human cellswith the wolf cells mercilessly.

 

Will grabbed Lora. "Come on! There's nothing we can do!" He said, pulling her into the complex, shooting at bandits with his BR55 Battle Rifle one handed. He got through the door and pressed the emergency locks, locking Wolf and Lync in the entrance and them in the proving grounds. "There's things in here... Keep an eye out." He said, raising his battle rifle. His face was a pale white under his polarized visor. He hadn't been here in almost 10 years.

 

Lync looked at him and kept growling. He pushed Wolf back grabbed his right leg. He then started spinning and spinning until he threw Wolf to another side of the tunnel. He then charged and slammed Wolf to the ground. As he looked at him, he showed his teeth and kept growling at his old friend.

As they were running, Lora looked at Will and said "I really hope Lync is going to be ok."

 

As Lync kept getting closer, the more of his beast side took over. As he got closer, his humanity kept slipping away farther and farther from his sight. He has become a total beast. As he kept gettin to his oldest friend, he brought his sharpened claws out. As soon as he was bringing them down, a gun shot happened. Lora was standing there with a gun in her hands. The bullet hit Lync's arm. He started howling in pain. "Sorry.....Lync."
