Hunters

Butsuchiru slowly got and brushed off the debris on his shoulder and spat oon the floor next his opponent. "Now, now." he began reaising his hands while at gun point, "Do we really want to cause more trouble than there is needed? You little wolfy friend is going to feel the real effects of that serum and umm, if I'm not mistaken mister Wolf of the Hunters . . . I do believe your little tramp is dead and gone. I just shot her."

Butsuchiru pointed right in the middle of his head, "Right . . . in between . . . her, little, pretty, blue . . . eyes."

 

Wolf looked up "Hey...Where is she?" He asked looking around for Lora. He got up and ran off. He found Lora in the garage with a gun strapped to her back "Lora...What are you doing...." He asked slowly. He knew she hated him and wouldn't care if he was dead, so he tried to keep his distance. "Where are you going..?"

 

"I am leaving, i dont need your help, just some weapons and transportation, you disrespect me and treat me like one of your soldiers, plus you hunters are fools." she said, she walked right pass him, she had two knives, a shot gun, and two pistols. "You better not try and stop me either, because i will blow your head off Space boy." Lora told him. With nothing she could drive she walked into the forest she didn't know where she was going but she would get somewhere.

 

"You are somthing else, aren't you?" Wolf said following her "Why do you hate me? I didn't do anything to you. We just met and i've hardly talked to you at all and your already treating me like dirt, what's your problem? You have somthing against boys?!" He asked. He felt she wasn't going to make it on her own, and the fact he kinda liked her he didn't want to see her go so quickly.

 

Lora was finding this man to be a fly that cant die, but at the same time there was something else, but she wasn't going to find out what it is. "Look, i dont have anything agasnit boys, i hate you because your a hunter, the leader, and you treated me like dirt some i'm just retuning the favor ok." Lora told him, then she walked faster then started running, she heard him call her but she didn't care, he would follow. She walked into a small field, and sat down on a log. She loaded her shot gun and pointed at where he would come out at, one warning shot should get him off. She heard a sound but it was in the trees, but it didn't sound like a animal, like something more. But before she could think on it Wolf came running out and she shot, nearly hitting him but missed and got a tree, he looked shocked and mad at the same time. " Told ya Space, dont follow me, that was a warning shot, next time wont be so nice." she said.

 

"Since when did i ever treat you like dirt? I've hardly known you. How could you tell me that you hate me when you've known me for about an hour?" He asked. He kept his hand on his desert eagle in his pocket in case things got ugly, he didn't want to fight her but he knew he probably would have to at some point.

 

"I know how you boys are, and i don't want anything to do with you ok. So just leave me only." she said as she got up. Then from no where a shot came out, nearly hitting her. She knew it wasn't from wolf, but from the front of her. "Wolf, did you see that?" she asked, He didn't have time to answer as four robots jumped from the trees. They surronded Wolf and Lora guns ready. Lora looked at Wolf" Hey, you think you could stay just for a mintue. maybe?" She said as she loaded her shot gun.

 

"Yeah, i haven't gotten much action. So it'd be my pleasure." He replied. He pulled his gun up and shot one of the robots in a red cercular cencor, it blew the whole robot up "Aim for the optical sensors on their heads. It'll overload their motherboards." He said. He kicked another robot down to the ground and stepped on it's face

 

This was the only time she followed his orders with out a mouth, she shot the robot in frount of her in the head and like his blew up. Another one comeing too her she knocked in the chest with the butt of her gun and shot it in the head. Wolf took care of the last one. "Well that was fun. Is there a whole bunch of these here?" she asked, but she felt a little gadrtitude to him, he didn't leave her for the robots, maybe he did care for her. "How bout i stay with you till you can get me a ride. SO looks like i'm going to bug you some more Space boy." Lora told him walking the way back to his camp. "Well lets go, dont lag behind." she said without turning around.

 

Wolf smiled as she walked away "I'm comin." He replied. "I knew she'd lighten up eventually." He thought. He followed her towards the base "So, how'd you end up on that ship anyway? Prisoner of war? Somthing like that? Did they just capture you for no reason? That happens a lot..Hehe." Wolf said. He felt kinda nervous around Lora, he hadn't felt this way for years.

 

"Well, i was in this town and they came at night, i wasn't ready or i would have got them. They destroyed the whole thing. Babys, women, everybody, they only ketp some babies, and women, i guess they thought they would break me to become there slaves. I was there for who knows how long." she said, then lora caught on, she had told him something about her, not really much but still, she was talking to him like a best friend. "What about you Space, how'd you get to be in this? Money, fame, what?"

 

"For the adventure, the action, to keep the peace. That's why." He replied. He walked up to a chair and sat down. "Tell me the truth, why do you hate me in the first place, i mean..I try to keep the peace, i don't like making enemies with people who aren't really with an enemy force, if you really do hate me, i'd fix it." He said

 

In her heart she didn't hate him, really she kinda wanted to be his friend." Well your a hunter, you try to keep peace but end up making trouble, you want to really fix it just get me away from here. Okay." lora said, but she saw the sad face he had and she felt gulity." Look i'm sorry, i have been rude and mean, it's just you come from no where and save me, twice really, give me food, and is trying to help, so thank you ok. I just really dont think we could be friends ok. Just get me off this place please. I'm looking for someone, if you can help, then you could fix it."

 

"Alright, who are you looking for? I have to do somthing later with my team, after i help you, you could come along, i mean if you want. But really, who are you looking for? I'm sure i can help in some way." He replied. He didn't think she'd ever talk to him with respect, he knew she liked him. He didn't want to make it obvious that he liked HER though

 

"The same person your looking for Mr. Hunter, at least you should be, so if you do know him, take me too him so i can kill him, i need too. Please." Lora begged, she didn't care for her pride or how he thought of her now, she need to kill him for what he did to her life. She looked into Wolf's eyes searching for the answer. "Look I know it might be big but you dont understand," she paused, she was about to tell him something about her life again, this time to much, she felt safe around him though, like she could tell him anything" That thing killed my family and took me, he had his people beat me everyday of every mintue, train me to fight and kill, and he kept my sister and mother as slaves, then right in front of me he cut off my mothers head. Her blood was everywhere on me." she started to cry about it, this man had made her feel safe, and able to make her cry, something she hadn't done in years. She put her head down on the table, crying with no nosie at all. Waiting for him to say no.

 

"Grahl..That...Tyrant...The Monster, kill innocent people without even having a second thought about it...He's a madman, to think i used to be friends with him...Lora..I'll help you, but i have to take my team with me, and before we do so, we need to investigate somthing on the other end of the planet, if thats okay with you." He replied

 

Her tears where gone, she was ready to go, she put her head up with eyes of fire. "When do we go?" she asked, but she kept replaying his words, he was going to help her, but something he said, was bugging her, he had stopped mid sentence, but she didn't care, she was going to save her sister. "Well come on, get your team we need to get going, faster we get to the end of the planet, faster we can get my sister back. Oh right, my sister is still alive, that's why we need to go now." Lora said getting up. Wolf stood up and she did something without even noticing, she hugged him, for five full seconds and pulled away, more like pushed him away. "Um, ah, dont ever do that again! Got that, or esle, i'll..um, blow of your head." she said and stomped away.

 

Wolf watched her walk off "Ha...ha..That was...Funny.." He said to himself. He got up and looked for Lync and the rest of the team. He found Lync, still in the mess hall "Hey, we need to go to the Spartan II lab, i'm sure Reo and the others are busy we'll be back before too long i think." He said "Come on we have to go, now."

 

Lora was walking by herslef, what the heck did she just do? She hugged him? Why, why would she do something like that, then she felt it, she felt soemthing she never felt in a long time happiness. She could never take back that hug, unless she did shot him, which now she could never do. So she just sat on a stump and thought, she put her hands with her face and instead of taking a quick nap, shefell asleep.

 

Lync looked at him and said "Sure." "Lets get going." He got up and from his seat and took his tray to the washer station. He handed the man there his tray and walked up to Wolf. He looked at him and said "Ok." "Lets get going." He then stopped and said "Hey." "Wheres Lora at?"
