A girl with blue hair was walking towards the chaos gate, a transportation device in the world that allowed players to travel to different locations. Her name was Malceia, an Axe dancer who joined recently in this Muti Million Online Role Playing Game ( MMORPG) called "The world R: 4.75. She quickly made her way to the gate, dragging her axe along the floors of Mac Avne Aqua Capitol and saw that the gate was gold and purple, gold on top purple in the middle. She typed in the keywords "Delta Bursting passed over Fragment" a Lv 1 battle place with the dark element, perfect for newbies.

" Alright I got my items checked and now I'm going to level up for the first time, now onto Delta Bursting Passed over Fragment" Malceia said gating towards the desired location and was there in two seconds. The world around her was a grave yard with magic portals almost every where in sight, damn what could that dungeon be like. Malceia stumbled onto one of the portals on accident and saw a lone ghost monster by the name of "Ghoul", what a lovely death name. This was only a small ghost with a chain in it's hand. Malceia slashed her axe upwards dealing about 4 damage then recieved 12 back on her 75 hp. Malceia then decied to swing until her enemy was dead, and it did die soon leaving behind 60exp for her.

"This is too hard, I'm needing someone so time to gate back to town" Malceia said gating back to the town

 

OOC: Hey I've never played the game before (For PSP) so correct me if i do something wrong.

His dark black hair whipped in his face as he looked out on the vast plain. There were monsters scurrying all over.
"Hmmph." "Blazed Angel" said as he looekd at them, "Let's get going." He dashed through the plains punching one monster a few times while dodging and blocking the small creature's attacks. He gave it one last punch and watched it fall over dead.
"Ha! Yes one down." he then looekd at the plains again reminding him there were a lot more to be killed, "Well at least i got some EXP." he said as he went walking one to kill more monsters.
"Well maybe I could go to the Root Town there i could form a party and level faster! Yeah I will..." BlazedAngel said walking back to the Root Town.

 

Malceia, confused as to why this place Is long ,very long so she decided to go trade with players for their member adresses and she never got a single one, only some items. Then she noticed a man coming back from the field, he had gun with him and some other materials, Malceia just couldn't resist talking to him. She dragged herself and her axe over to the man with a smile on her face.

"Would you like to form a party together me and you, My name is Malceia on this game and who are you?" Malceia asked in her nicest tone with her light purple eyes glowing at the man, she sent her member adress to form a party with him.

 

>I don't know if anybody else will do it this way, but I'm letting everyone know that when I post in The World, I will refer to my character as Gerik. When I post in the real world, I will refer to my character as Tom.<

"Let's see..." Tom muttered, his computer desk in a state of complete disarray. "This plugs into here. This goes here. Game is loaded up. And here we go." Tom put on the M2D headset, preparing to play The World.

Tom's character Gerik arrived in the warp gate of the Δ server root town, Mac Anu. Turning away from the warp gate, Gerik left to go look at the city itself. The city resembled Venice, a long bridge connecting the warp gate area to the remainder of the city. The sun was in the horizon, giving the entire city a slight golden hue. "I have got to admit. Whoever designed this game is amazing."

As Chase began to sign on to the game, he was suddenly aware as to how nervous he truly was. He'd never played a MMORPG before, but knowing that his friend was there made it seem like a lot more fun.

As he appeared onto the server Mac Anu he was suddenly hit by the scenery. The graphic designs in The World looked amazing, and there seemed to be so many people walking around! He wondered how it was even possible for such a game to exist.

River began looking around for Thunder, but he was no where in sight so he decided to go check out some of the shops. The Armory Shop is what intrigued him the most, however, everything just seemed too expensive. Possibly because he didn't have any money on him at the moment. While perusing the Potion Shop he noticed Thunder buying some 'Fairy Orbs'.

"Hey Thunder are we going to some area to fight monsters?"
"Yupp, just one second."

Following Thunder, River walked up the Gate Portal and a bit of anxiety crept up in his gut of what could be waiting for him on the other side. Thunder put in the code

The ground was marked as level 1, a fine place River realized, for an inexperienced person like him to learn.

"Hmm," Swan muttered to herself. "Hmm, interesting indeed. Another coma patient." As she closed her email, Swan gated into the town. "Quiet as usual." Walking a short distance she look up towards the sun. "Even though it is a game, sure is pretty." Crossing the town bridge, Swan heard other players muttered around her. She pounded her fist and stop in her tracks. "You noobs!" She scream at them, "If you wanna talk shit behind people back, you should switch into a party or whisper mode. I hope you know EVERYONE can hear your conversation!"

As usual her name was on their lips.
Thats Lady Swan, The Player Killer.
OMG is that Swan, the Majestic Killer?
What is she doing here? Should I contact a GM?
I'm scared. Let's Gate Out.
OMG She is turning around.
Fuck.

Drawing her weapon, she knew she can not fight in root towns only in the field, but scaring them, might prove effective. "If I ever catch you in a dungeon or field, I will kill you myself. Personally." Her voice sounded stern and cold.

Fearing for their lives, the two Twin Blades ran to the nearest Gate.

Flipping her blue hair, Swan look up again to the sun and smiled.

 

Joe looked at the screen, in someones text box it said,

Joey could tell the questions were directed towards him... He replied...

Joe laughed at his corny joke. He decided to head back towards the feild where together they could kill more monsters together.

Chase Montgomery/River​

Δ Hidden Bubbled PassOver seemed like a fairly straightforward terrain. All that was visible for miles around was flat green plains with a few monster portals scattered around. Since this was River's first time playing "The World" Thunder insisted on him trying to defeat whatever lay in the nearest portal. Having no real choice River walked up to one, and once activated, a small goblin appeared. He began to attack it with his twin blades and seemed to be making slow progress. However, the goblins attack only dealt a blow of 10HP so it wasn't getting anywhere fast.

After three to four hits the goblin was slained and he earned 40EXP.
"Wasn't that bad was it?" Thunder was joking around with him as usual.

Once they activated a few more monster portals in the plain, they decided that it was time to enter the dungeon. It was a quite small inside, only consisting of two floors and around four chambers on each level. A perfect location for a level 1 and a level 2 character to gain some experience.

Making their way throughout the dungeon with few hassels, except for when River KO'd (Good thing Thunder decided to buy some potions to resurrect) trying to show off in a fight against three goblins both characters had finally made it down to the second landing. Here they fought as a team to defeat any remaining foes in the following rooms in order to reach the Gott Statue.

Looking up at the huge monument River was absolutely baffled.
"So there's actually one of these in every dungeon?" he asked in amazement.
"There's supposed to be last time I checked." Thunder remarked with a smirk on his face.
"You know what you can do, right?" River now had a grin on his face and proceeded to open up the chest in front of the statue.

Inside there was one Silver Beret (trading purposes) and two Fairy Orbs. River was going to divise a plan to share this small fortune but Thunder explained that it was better if he kept all the items, that the experience was worth the struggle. Ultimately they had both gained three levels in the dungeon, not back for 30 odd minutes fighting some pesky goblins.

After they left the dungeon and were about to 'Gate Out' River realized that it was starting to get late.
"Hey dude, I've got to go shower. My mom's making me go to my grandmothers house tomorrow and she 'claims' I smell."
"Oh.. Right. Talk to you tomorrow."

And with that River logged out of The World, prepared to meet his mother's wrath since it was already 10 o'clock.

Kody Hamilton/Thunder​

So now what should I do, Thunder questioned now back at Mac Anu.
"Welp, I guess it doesn't hurt to visit another dungeon." Who knows, someday I could be an expert at this.

He decided that he might as well go back to the Item's Shop. Afterall, he had used up three of his Fairy Orbs and one of his potions on the last quest that he embarked on with River...

 

"Okay lets BlazedAngel i know a field called delta Bursting Passed Over Fragment" Malceia said walking towards the chaos gate with her axe dragging along the way. Then she bumped into the infamous player killer Lady Swan, oh how beautiful she looked, but was so mean. Malceia just looked at her aimlessly and decided to maybe become friends with her.

No that wouldn't work in her advantage instead she just wanted to say something.

"Hey Lady Swan!, why are you mean to other players, you are just makng a bad impression on yourself" Malceia yelled to Lady Swan, her eyes going to the most angriest form, a glare.

In the real world, Natalia the face behind Malceia was somewhat angry at this player killer, it is her true nature but this pk is just annoying everyone and scaring the hell out of them. Na'se was never like that, he only tried to kill Natalia to see what it is like to kill someone in the game. Natalia quickly re visioned herself back to the game "The World"

 

"What a psycho." Tom thought to himself as Swan was screaming at other players near Gerik. "So much for me going out for some playtime right now. I've got a feeling she'll follow me to whatever area I go to. I could wait for her to go somewhere, but that seems really boring. I know. I'll go down and check out any available missions. Maybe I'll get something cool for completing one." Gerik walked across the bridge, going to the main portion of Mac Anu.

"We are sorry." The NPC bowed. "There are no missions available right now. You will recieve an email notifying you when quests are open."

 

Angela Renata sat infront of her computer in her wheelchair, her finger lingering on the enter key. She pressed down on it, sending an Email entailing that she was almost done designing her character for that World game she was convinced into playing*. Her parents had bought all the necessary equipment - anything to get her happy again - and had prepared everything for her. The girl sighed, bringing the gaming visor back over her eyes so she could finish designing her character. All that was left now was simply a name.

"What sounds good? . ." She muttered, drumming her fingers on the keyboard. A thought occurred to her, and Angel punched something in and hit enter. "Eh, let's try this."

And then she entered the World.

Zenobia appeared in Delta Mac Anu in the typical portally fashion, instantly stunned by the sights around her.

"Wo-wow! It all looks so real!" She exclaimed, her face beaming. But the green-haired Grappler just remembered that she had to find Akeru, and unfortunately she didn't know the first thing about the game.

"Aw, now what do I do?" Zenobia whined, looking around somewhat frantically.

Kody Hamilton/Thunder​

Ignoring all of the hustle and bustle of all of the other users currently on Mac Anu, Thunder made his way to the Item's Shop. After browsing the inventory several times, he decided that a few health potions were sufficient enough. So long as he stayed on lower leveled areas he should be just fine, he realized.

Not entirely sure what to do with himself without the company of his friend, Thunder decided to gaze around at this server. The scenery of the town looked amazing to him and it seemed hard to believe that this was all only a game. The bridge, the buildings, and the users seemed so real... Snapped out of his reverie by the sudden realization that it must be getting late Thunder was faced with a choice: Should he sign off, go to bed, and start again tomorrow; or should he stay on a while longer.

Thinking it over he figured that his mom really didn't care what he was up to, so ultimately he developed an urge to go through one more dungeon. Walking up the the Gate Portal on his own this time, he decided to put in a random area code.

Δ Fragrant Oblivious Sunshine

It was marked at level 2. Even though Thunder was only a little above that he decided to give this area a shot.

 

Her concentration has been broken. "What do you want?" Swan flipped her hair. "Why do people don't mind their own business?" She asked herself. Shaking her head she sigh, "Was I yelling at you? No. So if I was you, I wouldn't even worry about it."

Swan began to walk, she didn't even catch the player name. Walking over to the mission counter she spotted another player, "Ugh, he must have took the last mission," she thought to herself. "What ever, I just go train at a local dungeon or something."

Glancing up, she began to think again. "Now the last place where that player passed out is now locked by the GM. Ugh, and I can't access yet, because I didn't break the code yet. But what should I do?"

"Please select a character.... .... .... please make up a name... .... .... gender.... ... ... now please select a class... ... welcome Ariadne. Enjoy your new life in the world: R:45." Althea ended up going to the Delta server immediately and became a new being as Ariadne. "Hm. Huh?" Ariadne started to look around and then stared at herself, realizing that she was wearing a green cloak and a red clothes and emerald shoes. "This is very strange. Actually, I do not even know where to start." Ariadne started to look around to see other players fighting against each other or was doing some shopping. "What shall I do?" "Hello novice player!"

She turned around to see an old man walking towards her with a cane and a large bag. "Well, this is your first time in this world is it?" Ariadne just stood there nervously as she was listening to the npc's long lectures. 15 minutes later, she was asked if she wanted to go through a tutorial duel. "Well... I guess it wouldn't hurt."

 

A young lady passed though the crowds of people currently logged on to the world, only some were her friends in this game. She was named Lipet, an Admin, only bound to this character and her Epitaph, Skeith, "The terror of Death". She was in charge of managing systems and removing threats, like the AIDA, hackers, and AIs so that other people can really enjoy the world as they want it. She was also tasked with following Lady swan around, as their systems say, she is an AIDA PC. She quickly ran behind Lady swan towards the Chaos Gate and saw that she was trying to hack, "Oh fucking hell great, they'll kill me if I let her do this" Lipet thought as she ran towards Lady swan

"Hey there, CC. Corp Admin, Lipet. May i ask you to please stop hacking for other players or I will be forced to follow you, your choice." Lipet said with her eyes crossed over each other in a idiotic type way. "Other Admins would have attacked her right on the spot, but I'm giving her a chance to redeem herself, if she fails, not my fault" Lipet thought as she drifted away into the contents of her mind

OOC- Lipet is a admin so she is somewhat a higher level than most

 

"Having trouble finding a quest to do?" A player asked Gerik, appearing behind him.

This player surprised Gerik. "Huh?" He turned around to see the character. He saw that the user had spiky blond hair and a tattered red cloak. "I wanted to do a quest, but this NPC says that there aren't any active at the moment."

"Yeah. CC Corp apologizes for this. Due to an increase in hackers we've had to shut down quests for a while."

The way this person talked was confusing. "Do you work at CC Corp?"

"Yes. I'm an Admin. Call me Siegfried."

"Oh. Okay. I'm Gerik. I've just started playing recently."

"Nice to meet you Gerik. Right now I'm actually on a break. If you wish, I could help you level up your character. A level 1 character is always a prime target for PKs."

"That'd be nice."
