What is your opion on evolution. Do you believe in the "Vital Force", do you believe the religious part of it, or are you with sciene that living things evolved through genetic mutation for the better of things.

I believe in a bit of science and religion. I think that God placed being on the planet, but not humans, but bacteria and when he told them to multiply and make do, he ment spread and mutate your traits. Well when doing that over time bacteria began changing where it turned to fish, amphibians, reptiles, and soon animals.

Well, I have a lot more research to do on the subject (and a lot more to say than what I am going to in this post), but I disagree with Evolution as a whole. I do believe that God created the heavens and the earth, and the entire universe. I also believe that God created man in His own image, and that He appointed mankind to be representatives of Him on this earth for His glory. In being appointed, I mean that we are stewards who should take care of the earth and use the resources wisely that God has given us.

The more one looks into science, the more one is going to see God. The heavens are telling the glory of God...the interconnectedness of the entire universe points directly to God. One of my personal favorites to look into: the concept of the universe being 4D (time, width, depth, height)...the "flat problem."

I'll post more later. This is a good topic, and one that deserves to be debated on.

I agree, and we're studying it in science class so I thought I bring it up.

Like I said, I believe what I said above.

Plus to what you have put forward points out stuff in space that represent's God. Like God's eye, and the lost cloud of heaven(the milky way galaxy)

Point one: By its very nature, Evolution Theory happens to violate one of the guiding principles of science itself. The Falsifiability Criterion states that an idea may only be considered scientific if it is possible to prove it wrong. In other words, it needs to within the realm of possibility, accessible to verification. Evolution Theory is all-encompassing. It explains all change, and also all lack of change. Basically you can’t set up an experiment to prove that it exists or doesn’t, because if there’s change, that’s Evolution. If there isn’t, that’s also Evolution. Therefore, it’s impossible to disprove…

[I realize that yes, the same argument—the whole Falsifiability Criterion thing—also applies to God. However, there is extremely strong evidence that points to a Creator…in every field (because they are all interconnected). The design is so intricate, and has such a large scale that coincidence itself becomes irrational. The numbers are just huge.]

Two: Considering humankind, it needs to be noted that we aren’t like other animals. We aren’t animals. Man is (not to be prideful) very special; he’s the only being that has a body, a soul, and a spirit. Also, man is the only being that has culture, “an integrated system of beliefs, values, customs, and institutions, which bind a society together and give it a sense of identity, dignity, security, and continuity” (Willowbank Report, pgs. 484-485).

These two reasons alone (in my opinion) refute the idea that we originated from primates simply because a jump like that is basically impossible. From no culture to culture and from one type of being to another, more complete being simply by chance? I personally don’t think that would happen. I could see why culture might have some ground in Evolution Theory, because it would obviously be beneficial in organization, etc. But how does spirit come in to play? Where did that originate from? And if including it was so much better, why didn’t everything just evolve to have a spirit? It isn’t like there hasn’t been enough time, because according to the Theory itself, all species of life are now present or extinct according to length of process.
