    Central's Chosens…

As it is known by very few, there are many realms. Different realms of everything possible, usually someone comes up with it and create a TV show about it, never do these realms touch, however there is a very central realm. This realm is known to all by different names; Heaven, Light, and many more names. This realm is known as The Central. The Central is home to many beings, these beings are unlike no other- there consist of mainly two beings. Souls and Elements, Souls are beings that are sort of like ghost, they have different powers, they act almost like guardians to Elements. Elements are beings with powers over one elements and two additional powers from any other realm. In central though there are two additional facts that must be known, it is home to a school, this school is for Young Elements to prove themselves worthy of becoming masters and protectors over a realm.

The Central Academy consists of multiple levels, a lower level designed for what humans call elementary school and middle/ junior high school. Then the actual school starts when young Elements gain their powers, it’s similar to a high school, each year you have a high school there are two levels acting like semesters, in total there are 8 of those levels. Everyone in Central work with the school in some way. It may be being a teacher, runs housing, whatever it may be.

Our story doesn’t revolve around Central and the school, it revolves around one particular student and her close friends. This student is the first of all Elements and what she’s first of is a secret no one even knows of except the select few, myself being one of them, I am her professor after all. Which leaves me where I need to introduce myself.

My name is Professor Eli Gamaliel, just call me Eli though. I’m the assistant head of the school. Nobody has met the head of the school except for a selective few and myself. I work hard in assuring that my students work hard and do their best so they can become protectors of the universe, however only a few reach it. Some now and then can’t succeed so they’re sent to different realms, memories erased, then some aren’t strong enough to become protectors so they live in central running shops and working with the school. That’s just basically how things work.

Our story begins with a young student and her friends, she’s one not many will I’m sure ever be able to live up to, her and her friends are the best in our school, of course only us teachers and myself see it. She finally reached about level 6 when it all began and they came. They came from the darkest of the realm, they’re a group of witches and warlocks just like the Elements, they too have powers over elements and one power from a realm, but master this element. They were lead by a very vicious leader but truthfully none of us knew who it was at the time. This evil leader is said to be taking revenge against god and is believed to be the child of the devil and is taking revenge for being imprisoned in Connector.

Cassie sat patiently in class copying the notes from the chalk board in the front of the classroom that Professor Martin had left for the class. Cassie finally copied all of the notes and turned to her soul, Doug also finished but now doodling in the margin of his notebook. "Sorry about that class!" Cassie looked up and saw the small little cat come running inside and jump up on the desk. "Now then that all of you I'm sure are done with the notes, who wants to explain what we'll be learning?" The cat called out. Cassie looked down at her notes and raised her hand. "Learning about Connector." Cassie heard someone else call out as she lowered her hand.

"Correct." Professor Martin called out when a knocking was heard on the door. Cassie and Doug both looked up at the door and saw Professor Gamaliel, or everyone just calls him Professor Eli, walked in. "Excuse Professor Martin, could I make a real quick announcement?" Professor Eli asked. Professor Martin jumped off the desk and returned into her human form. "Go ahead." She stated. Professor Eli nodded and turned to the class.

"After lunch in the Main Hall a list will be posted of students being put into our advance studies. As a few of you may already know, the advance studies is for all levels, it takes students outside of the classroom and into the other realms to study. As I'm sure Professor Martin has explained in class that souls look faded to other beings in other worlds, so souls attending the advance studies will have to take a special class on making your being look solid." Professor Eli announced. I looked over at Doug who nodded saying he would take the class.

    GrandShadow I accept your challange.

Tai sighed as he copied down the notes. It bored him, but he didn't want to fail so he did it anyways. He took a quick glance at his sister two seats over only to see her tracing her hand in her notebook. He grabbed his extra pencil and after looking around Tai tossed it, hitting lightly her in the head. She immediately looked around tosee who threw it and smiled when she saw Tai glaring at her. Selene tilted her notebook to show him the drawing she was doing as Tai facepalmed himself. Tai pointed to the board and then tilted his notebook to show her that he was copying the notes. Selene nodded and started erasing her drawing so she could get the notes.

It was then though that the teachers came in. Tai listened to Professor Eli's speech but Selene was to busy erasing to notice the teachers had even entered. Advanced studies, huh? Tai thought, Sounds interesting I gues. Selene though was now staring at the teachers wondering when they showed up.

"Oh hey, it's that guy who talks to himself." One student sneered in the hall.

"Don't get to close to him. He might destroy your mind with a single glance. That's probably why he doesn't have a soul." Another mocked.

Tom just ignored them, continuing to walk to his destination. Claire floated over his shoulder, looking at him. "Don't mind them. They're really good people."

"Rrrrriiiiggggghhhhhttttt..." He muttered, rolling his eyes. "That's why they enjoy being near me."

"It's not their fault. They're just scared. You need to be the one to take the first step. Or else they'll never give you the chance."

"Why should they be scared of me?"

"People are afraid of what they don't know. You were the same once, when I appeared."

"Totally different." Tom remarked. "There's never been a record of somebody encountering an angel while they were at this school."

All the other students heard were Tom's comments. They never heard or saw Claire.

Soon the bell rang and students stood up and filed out of the classroom. It was lunchtime. Cassie gathered all of her belongings and looked over at Doug. He stood up and smiled at her. "Lunch, then preparing for advance studies." Doug grinned. Cassie nodded as the two of them ran out into the hall. Cassie soon bumped into somebody and fell back all her belongings scattered. She looked up and quickly stood up. "I'm sooo sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you. Are you ok?" Cassie said to the boy and looked at him when she noticed that he didn't have a soul around him. "Oh no, the freak hurt Cassidy." A few kids shouted out. Cassie glared over at them. "Back off, will you." Doug shouted over to them.

"I don't think we've met before, I'm Cassie." Cassie said to the boy when she started gathering her stuff up.

"Tom." He answered her beofre turning around to walk off. Claire moved in front of him.

"Turn around and talk to her. Here's your chance."

Tom glared at Claire and turned around. "Umm... I'm fine... Thanks for asking." "Claire, I have absolutely no idea what to say now."

"That's alright. Just say what comes naturally. But you need to converse. Don't just answer yes or some single word. You reply, and then say something to further the conversation."

Cassie looked over at Doug who nodded. "Hey" Doug called to the boy as he stood up hands in pocket. "What level are you?" Doug said. "Doug-" Cassie stated mad. "What? I'm just curious." Doug said with a grin. "tom, would you like to join our table for lunch?" Cassie asked the boy as she walked up next to him followed by Doug who unaware walked right through Claire. "Huh..." Doug said in a low whisper. He stopped and looked around. 'What was that?' He thought to himself when he looked over at the social Cassie who was trying to get Tom to sit with them at lunch.

"Uhh... Sure." Tom answered. He followed Cassie and Doug. "Claire, are you sure they aren't setting me up for something." He whispered quietly so nobody but Claire would hear him.

    "Of course. They are genuine."

"And if I accidentally put one of them into a coma like before?"

"You won't." Claire answered confidentally. "After all, you've learned to control it. Just keep your eyes normal. If they don't transform to do those attacks, you don't have to worry about harming people with it."

Cassie was glad to hear it and walked into the cafeteria. Doug walked back behind though watching Tom. 'What was that, that I felt. It was so strange. It felt like a spirit when the few times I've tripped over my family members and stuff, but I can see spirits, I don't see anything, but it was odd.' Doug was thinking to himself when he was interuptted. "Good day Mr. Eindride." Dougturned around and looked at Professor Eli. He was posting up something on the wall. "Good day, Professor Gamaliel." Doug said. Professor Eli smiled and put a hand on Doug's shoulder and walked out of the cafeteria. Cassie turned around and looked back at Doug who turned towards the posted paper. "Is that...?" Cassie and Doug both said walking up to it.

"The advance studies!" Cassie exclaimed and on cue everyone heard it and started rushing over. Cassie looked for the name.

"Team 201, team leaders- Jody Osmond and Douglas Eindride." Cassie read aloud slightly mad that Professor Eli posted her real first name and not her nickname. "Team Members- Tai Keliz and Selene Keliz, Evangaline Kassidee and Jackson Hunt, Tom Morisato and ________....?" Cassie stopped. There were underdashes next to Tom's name. "and Rhett Wyland and ____." Cassie finished. She hopped out of the crowd. "Congrats Tom, you've made the advance studies on our team." Cassie told Tom.

"Here he comes!" Cassie turned around hearing everyone say it. That's when Vince Smith and Maggie Smith walked in and through the crowd. "Co-ordinator and overseer of 200's." Vince read aloud. He then slowly walked away to a table a few girls squealed after he left. Cassie just watched him and turned back to Tom. "Let's go grab a seat some of the other's will show up soon enough, I'm sure." Cassie said walking over to a table.

"Sure." Tom spoke as he followed Cassie.

"Isn't this great?" Claire asked him. "You're teamed up with somebody you just met."

"Great... Ironic... Coincidental." Tom answered. He sat down near Cassie. "Soooo... You've really never heard of me before. The one everybody seems to hate." Tom was suprised that she never heard of him. It seemed like everbody in the school was out to hate him.

"No, it may depend on the levels. I was wondering though, don't you have a soul?" Doug asked. Cassie slapped him. "What was that for?" Doug asked rubbing his arm. "I think I've heard of you, but not ummm you. if that makes any sense." Cassie told him. She could only guess he was the one who was made fun of not having a soul.

Professor Eli stood at the door and looked out into the cafeteria. He was one of the few who could see Claire. He was assistant headmast after all. He turned around and walked down the hall to his office. Before he saw Professor Virgil. "Hello there professor." Professor Eli greated walking past him.

"A soul...?" Tom spoke. "It's... Complicated." "After all, who would believe me if I were to say that I have an angel. An angel that only I can see."

"You're not the only one who can see me. Seeing me is a selective thing." Claire told Tom. "Aside from you, anybody I choose can see me, other angels can see me. And if somebody is strong enough, they can see me too. But being that strong is difficult. There aren't many people who live long enough to attain that power. But your headmasters would be some of those poeple."

A short girl was walking through the crowd toward the wall. Her purple hair was pulled back away from her face as usual with a green headband and there was a blue haired boy walking not very far in front of her, almost clearing the way for his companion. "Please excuse us." he would say kindly. People would move out of his way without much of an argument. Most people at the school were pretty polite anyway and luckily they werent near many of the rude people but whats more than that, the people knew what was on the paper and were excited for the duo to see it.

"So You think we got in?" the boy with blue hair asked Eve. He didnt much mind either way advanced classes or just classes but he knew it was important to Evey so he hoped they did just so she would be happy.

Evey shrugged and walked a little faster, passing Jackson and making it to the wall before he did. "Hey Cassie made it." she said with a smile, wondering how her friend reacted when she saw that Professor Eli had used her real name on the paper. She knew she hated her real name more than Evey hated her own. She smiled as her eyes traced down the paper and she said "And..."

After she paused her sentance, Jackson got a bit anxious "And?" he repeated.

"She's on our team. We made it." she smiled brightly and turned around to face her friend enthusiasticly.

"Are you serious?" Jackson said, gently nudging Evey aside so he could see the paper.

"Yeah why on earth would I lie about that Jackson. This is so great." Evey was saying as jackson was only half listening.

"Team Members- Tai _____(last name) and Selene ______(last name), Evangaline Kassidee and Jackson Hunt, Tom Morisato and ________....?" Jackson stopped "Huh, thats unusual. This Tom Person doesnt have a soul."

Evey looked skeptical, she hadnt read all of the names before. "Really?" she looked at the paper too.

A boy in the crowd spoke up "Now you both cant say your that clueless. Evey miss poular over there you must have heard of Tom Morisato."

Evey shrugged "Gimme a break Jim its a big school. So you going to tell me who this kid is or do I just find out on my own when I meet him?"

Jim laughed "Patience is a virtue."

Evey laughed too "Since when have you known me to be patient."

Jackson rolled his eyes "Or virtuous." he teased. Evey made no comment but she hit him.

Jim shrugged "Ok Ok. He's a bit of a freak thats for sure. It would be wise of you to keep your distance Eve. Hes always walking about avoiding people and talking to himself and hes got no soul."

Eves eyes squinted a little in a curious expression "And do you know why he acts so strangely?"

Jim shook his head "Rumors say its because hes insane others say something more like his soul is just different than others. There are some that think its a misunderstanding."

"And whats your oppinion?" Jackson asked Jim. He never really much liked Jim he was kind of a bully but he was one of Eve's many 'admirers' so he put up with him to avoid arguing with Eve.

Jim smirked "You wanna know my opinion for reals?" he laughed and put his arm around Eve's shoulders leading her and Jackson out of the crowd. Jackson kind of wanted to punch Jim for touching her. Not that he liked her that way at all but he just plain didnt like Jim. It was his brother like affection for her that made him not like most scoundrils that talked to Eve.

Eve didnt notice Jacksons expression and didnt even seem to notice Jim's arm. She didnt think about it the same way Jackson did though. Sometimes it bothered Jackson how outgoing yet totally naive Eve was but he didnt ever voice it.

Jim talked when they were away from the group answering Jacksons question "I've seen Morisato first hand. Only a few minutes before you got here me and the gang saw him walking down the halls just talking to himself completely ignoring us. Thats not the first time I saw him I even heard a few rumors of him causing unexpected accidents like knocking people out and ****."

    "On purpose?" Eve asked, astonished.

"Meh, some people say that it was on purpose as for me I think its his problem. Hes some idiot that cant control his own powers and talks to himself. I think he's harmless just a freak. If he ever gives you trouble let me know Ill take care of it for you." he said with a menacing smirk.

Jackson cut in "If that was true why would he have made the advanced classes and you not Jim." he said.

Jim was caught off guard by the question and looked square at Jackson for the first time since he joined the conversation and just frowned at him for a few minutes, unsure how to answer. Evey was starting to get the impression that Jim was going to do something stupid that would cause a sceene. Just then he smiled that same cocky grin he had before "Eh Professor Eli must have felt sorry for the kid. I doubt he ever becomes a guardian." he started to walk away but then turned around "Hey Eve me and the guys are going to go eat now, you comming?"

Eve smiled a bit but waved him away "Meh, Jackson and I should go find Cass."

Jim shrugged "Next time then." he said before leaving.

Jackson and Eve walked toward the cafeteria. "Why do you tolerate that Jerk." Jackson was saying as they entered. Eve shrugged "Dont be ignorant Jackson. Hes a good friend."

    Jackson scoffed "Sure he is."

Eve just laughed "Dont worry about it. I got you to protect me remember." she joked "Now anyway do you think what he said about that Tom kid is true?"

"You never can tell with Jim. He's full of bullcrap. Im sure hes a lot different in reality than Jim and his 'gang' say he is." Jackson answered picking up an apple and handing it to Eve before grabbing one for himself.

Eve nodded "Yea I guess your right. Im curious to meet him though." she smiled.

"Im sure you are." Jackson said, looking for a way to change the subject "Hey there are Doug and Cassie." he and Eve made their way over to them.

"Hey Cass!" Eve said as she made her way through the crowd toward her friends. "Did you get a chance to see who made the advanced classes yet?" she asked her friend, knowing what the answer was going to be.

Cassie stared at Tom wondering the answer when she looked up and saw Eve. She quickly jumped up. Doug stood up and grinned at Jackson. "Well," Cassie started as Jackson began counting down. "I probably didn't make it I'm sure--- I made it, and you and I are on the same team!" Cassie cheered. Right as Doug had all three fingers down from the countdown. "By the way. I met someone new today, this is Tom, he's on our team as well. Tom this is my best friend probably in the world Eve and that's Jackson." Cassie said. Sitting back down at the table.

Tom glanced up at them. "Hi." He quitely spoke.

"Tom. Be respectful. Stand up and introduce yourself properly."

"Yes mother." He thought to himself. Claire laughed and gently slapped him. "Do it." She told him. "Why? Didn't you hear them talking before. They're gonna be like everybody else. Surely Cassie and Doug will be the same eventually. Especially after all that questioning as to why I don't seem to have a soul."

"You should do it because now's your chance to change the way people think about you. If you let people get to know the real you, then they won't think bad about you." Claire answered him.

Tom sighed and stood up. "Hi. My name is Tom. Nice to meet you."

(i forgot to give my characters last names, wow sorry. for future reference their last name is Keliz)

Tai and Selene were grabbing their lunches from their lockers before heading to the cafeteria like other students. As soon as they sat down Tai smacked his sister in the head. "OW! What was tha for Tai?"
"For not paying attention in class. Did you even hear what Professor Eli said?" Tai asked as he took a bite out of his sandwich. Selene shook her head cause her mouth was full.. "Ugh, you really need to work on that short attention span of yours. He was talking about an advanced studies class, and we're in. I already checked the list. Won't you be happy, we're with Cassie and Eve." Selene looked extremely happy about that news.
"Really? Yay! I'm gonna go talk to them right now!" She quickly finished her lunch before she rushed off to her friends. Tai just groaned, that advanced studies class was going to be more trouble than it was worth.

Selene came up to the table where the others were and sat down with a smile. "Hi Cassie, Eve, Doug, Jackson, and...? Hey, aren't you that kid who talks to himself?" She asked as she gave a confused look at Tom.

Cassie sighed and slapped Selene. "Selene this is Tom, he is a cool guy." Cassie told her before looking back at the others as she finished her salad and Doug was done with his sub when he took her tray and threw it away. "Well, Tom I definately can't wait to start working with you." Cassie said as the school bell rang signaling a class change. Cassie grabbed her stuff and started to walk out. Next was class with professor Virgil. Definately not one of her favotite classes. She just wasn't sure what to think of him. Then again he was a new teacher for her on her new level, she could only think as you get to higher level it changes and teachers started to get tougher.

"Professor Virgil, will you be able to assist with the training secession tonight with the students in the advance studies?" Professor Eli asked as the bell rang.

"If I must." Virgil answered as the bell rang. "Now if you'll excuse me, I must go teach." He said as he walked off towards his classroom.

Selene clutched her head as Cassie hit her. "Ow. It's true though, we've all seen him talking when there was nobody around." Selene went off to her locker as the bell rang. After she got her things she went to the class and took her seat next to her brother at a lab table. She didn't like Professor Virgil much, he always yelled at her.

"Alright class" Virgil began as he walked in. "Pass up your reports on elixers and then open up your books to page 364." He began to started writing things on his chalk board as the papers were passed up.

As soon as Cassie introduced the boy she didnt know, and called him Tom she knew that he was the same Tom as Jim was explaining before and not just because of his attitude, which Eve thought was a bit stand-off-ish at first before he actually stood up and spoke to her and even then he seemed very reluctant. As an empath she could only sense that more in his emotions. He was so guarded it was hard for her to tell what he was feeling at all and she stopped trying. But what was most strange was she thought she could feel some other mind around him. A whole other personality. This other feeling was hopefulness and cheerfulness and she couldnt understand how that could be commong from him because of his countenence that was so closed off. She tried to ignore it and focus on something else, knowing the odd look on her face would be misunderstood by him. Only a few of her friends knew how hard it was for her to control her empathic powers sometimes (Jackson, Cassie, and Doug). And it wasnt something she liked having to explain. She smiled "Its nice to meet you Tom." she said cheerfully "Congrats on making Advanced. Im looking forward to working with you on the team." she decided not to ask him about the second personality she could feel around him without seeing anyone or anything.

Jackson smiled as well. He noticed the odd expression on his companions face that only lasted for a fraction of a second. He knew that face very well. Her Empathy had worked on its own again and she was confused about its reading. He helped her change the subject "Yeah it will be great. I havent seen you around before. Its always good to meet new friends." he said it just as the bell rang for the next class.

Tom had finished eating his lunch and got up to go to class. "Happy Claire?"

"A bit." She smiled at him. "This is what I was telling you though. If you open up to people, they'll open up back. How did you feel about talking to people?"

"It was... Nice. Although there was that one person who asked if I talk to myself."

"That's just because they don't know you."

"You know that people think I talk to myself is partially your fault, right?"

Claire moved in front of Tom and frowned. "You know I can't show myself to them. I'm here to guide you."

"If you insist." Tom sighed. "Well, I guess I'll be seeing all of them later."

Cassie and Doug walked into Professor Virgil's class a few minutes later as the bell rang. Cassie dug out her report as did Doug. She passed it up to the front of the class. She looked over at Doug who was diggin through his bag. "Forgot your book again?" Cassie whispered to him. He looked up and nodded. Cassie sighed as she got out her book and opened it up sliding the book between them. Doug looked at the page, entitled transformation potion. He looked up at the board and began copying the notes. Part of him was thinking about Tom though.

Cassie was copying all the notes patiently when suddenly she heard Doug speak to her telepathicly. 'Cassie, somethings not right with that Tom guy.' Doug told her. Cassie sighed and looked at him. 'Like what? He's fine, everybody needs to learn to quit teasing him.' She told him. 'It's not that I'm talking about. I felt something when I walked next to Tom, I felt like as if I was walking through a spirit, but instead it was bright and happy sort of spirit. I can see spirits though, so I don't know where that sensation came from.' Doug explained to her. Cassie went back to copying the notes. 'Well Doug, I don't know you could always ask Professor Eli when he's free or try researching it. Maybe even approach Tom about it.' Cassie told him. 'Yeah I guess so...' Doug finished and started copying the notes again.

    Meanwhile...

Central is a bright beautiful world, it's in the center of all the other realms, but it is not alone, there is another world just like Central, this world is not a good world, but a bad world. It is the Connector.

Footsteps are heard walking through the dark muggy woods. Whispers of ghost and spirits hiding are heard. The owner of the footsteps, a beautiful woman, ignores them. Slowly behind the woman up inthe sky flies another little girl. The woman stops running as the flying girl dives down next to the woman. The woman casually walks out into the clearing where lies an old dark house. The woman claps her hands as candles flicker and light up with a single flame. The witch walks up on to the porch and into the house.

The house isn't anything special. There's an old fasion kitchen, no stove or sink, just a fire place with a rack accross it to work like a stove top and a bucket of water. To the side lies stairs leading upstairs. They lead upstairs to 4 bedrooms. Then there is a curtain doorway.

The little girl steps forward and looks up at the woman, her eyes hidden behind her hair. The woman nodds as the little girl looks forward again and heads for the stairs. The woman steps forwward towards the curtain and pulls it open as she steps into the hidden room.

A small candle chandalier hangs down. In the center of the room is a large cauldron, a green color flame burns under the cauldron. Off to the side of the room are books shelves. Some have books others are vials. The vials are some empty, some are full with a liquid of some sort, and some with other things varrying from eyes balls, frogs, and more. The woman walks over to the caldron and stands over it. She flicks her hand over the caldron a powder shows and falls into the caldron as it begins to boil a little less and the liquid in it turns a green and glows.

"Show me, The Central Academy." The woman says looking into it. Right away the view is on one person, the assistant headmaster of that academy. The woman leans forward watching the assistant headmaster known as Eli posts up a list. She reads the list, Advance Studies. She's been watching the Central Academy for weeks and knows all about it. It is for the more advance students, they will be traveling to different realms to study them and protect them from the forces of 'evil'.

The woman is evil, in fact she is a witch, the number one enemy of every elemental, soul, angel, and everything else at Central.

The woman watches as two students walk up to the list. The girl begins to read the list aloud...

"Team 201, team leaders- Jody Osmond and Douglas Eindride." The girl paused her reading and looked happy but frustrated. "Team Members- Tai Keliz and Selene Keliz, Evangaline Kassidee and Jackson Hunt, Tom Morisato and ________....?" The girl stopped again with a puzzle look on her face. The woman leaned forward to see where the girl was reading to see not a soul name next to this Tom Morisato "and Rhett Wyland and Celia _____ ." She stepped out of the now formed crowd. "Congrats Tom, you've made the advance studies on our team." The girl spoke to another boy outside the crowd calling him Tom. The woman flicked her wrist again, another powder spilled out revealing a faded girl with wings. She grinned. "An angel is that boys soul, interesting." The witch said.

The woman though looked back at the girl. There was something interesting about this girl, different from the others. She didn't seem like most elementals. Her soul seemed normal, the boy and even the angel normal, but something was different about this girl. She was also obviously younger than some of the other students around who were team leaders, some weren't team leaders but older than her, so the woman wondered how this girl was a team leader. She didn't bother with it anymore. She just knew that seeing that Advance Studies list, Eli was onto them. With students now also defending the other realms, it made it harder for witch charms to work to kill beings faster to gather more spirits. Though, that also put Eli in a bad position leaving Central unguarded some. The woman waved her hand over the pot.

She stepped back and looked out at the eternal black starless night sky. "Hope you're doing well my master." The woman said as she stared out the window.
