Well when it comes to going into Office Max(the office and school and so on store for us in case Austrilia doesn't have it) doesn't, some stores have it for college students as for high school students, there's no discount, you can get a discount if your taking a course requiring it I know that's what they do at a different school district, not my school they just give a free trial for 18 weeks, and to get in that class is real hard.

There's no student discouts here sadly, there are though teacher discouts and luckily my mom's a teacher but even then it's still a lot of money, CS4 is $600 and the teacher discout only brings it down to $300

Only due to me being on a tight budget, I have PSE7, which I got for $60 at Sam's Club, which is like a huge super store here in the U.S. However when I get a job I plan to go to Staples and get PSCS5 when they start selling it. So until then I just have a crappy photo editing program and not a good graphic program.
