    I love all of these series, I just want to see who agrees with me, or if there are any others I should get into.
    I personally like the Kingdom Hearts series and Tales of' series the best, with Fire Emblem at third. Final Fantasy is really good, but only like half of the game in it are "great", and the Metal Gear series is awesome, but I like the fantasy stuff a little more...
    How 'bout you guys?

    I don't know how many years Square Enix have gave all their work to Final Fantasy, but all of them have been great.

    Kingdom Hearts. Square killed Final Fantasy with XII.
    Dragon Quest 8 would have to be my second favourite RPG series.

    it's great game, you do have use Box for hiding...
    And Persona series...

    My pick is between KH and FF. Both great series in my opinion, love playing both. I'm leaning toward KH because thats what I'm currently playing so thats my pick. If I could choose 2, I would throw FF in there. Good thread.

    Final Fantasy is the bestest for there will not be another RPG acceptable to make as many sequels as FF...

    What do you not like about FF XII? Just because the battle system was completely different doesn't mean the game sucked. I like it alot.

    But as for my choice.... Hmm.... Hard to decide.

    I like FF, KH, and FE. But I also like Legend of Zelda, Golden Sun (shame it's only two games), and Dot Hack// and Dot Hack//G.U.

    I thought XII lacked the gameplay that Final Fantasy was loved for. First, the gambits were awful, the whole battle system sort of felt that it didn't work and I hate the whole old English vocabulary in the story, it makes it so hard to understand what's going on.

    I never really bothered too much with gambits. Just to make the people I wasn't supporting heal when they needed to.

    But the only other thing that bothered me was the lack of strength with the summons.

    Kyuu your worst nightmare.

    I'd say Final Fantasy. They're awesome games.

    But I wouldn't say that Square killed FF with XII, but X-2. Not that I dislike the game, no. I like it, especially the dress spheres are awesome. But.. the storyline? In all FF's the storyline's awesome but not in X-2, I think.

    FF is awesome, but I think it started to get old after 4. Then 7 was just amazing, then I didnt like them for a while. The Story lines weren't as "original" as I thought. I just loved the animation and music. Then came FF XII. I personally LOVED IT !!!! The gameplay was totally original, and it was awesomely new for the FF series. I just cant wait for FF13. Its suppossed to be like the Last one or something.........
    But the first 4 FF's are just awesome. I cant stop playing them....haha.

    But the KH series and the Tales of series, and FE are just as awesome. I view them all as different kinds of RPG gamez though. I luv FE for its strategic gameplay and original storylines. I luv Tales of for its really awesome storylines, and "Super Smash Bros." like gameplay. I love KH for its awesome gameplay and storyline, and its original writing and music. and FF is just one of the classics.

    Metal Gear Solid is cool because its all about stealth. I cant say its my favorite series or game, but it has an awesome storyline and great music. It brings a great deal of originality to the whole "spy video gamez" field.

    Snake is awesome. I luv him in SSB Brawl. He's even cooler, cause he kicks everyones ass.
