PoKéMoN!

Nicole finished deciferring the entire cave. She looked around making sure she got everything. She started heading out till running into a mawhile.

"Oh wow, check it out, I don't think I have a mawhile yet." Nicole said. She looked at Star, before saying anything Star did a tackle and Nicole threw a pokeball. She caught it.

"Nice going Star!" Nicole said. She walked over and picked up the pokeball.

"Welcome to the team Mawhile." Nicole said to the pokeball. She got her pokeball transporter she uses to transport pokeballs with pokemon in them to the profesor, she can't recieve them though.

 

"It doesn't matter," The monk said, "You failed to answer the question. Now you must battle."

 

Nicole shook her head.

"Night I guess." She said. She headed to the pokemon center. She saw Will was asleep with his pikachu. She walked over to the desk. She moved the curtains and started figuring out the puzzle. She had jut enough light to see to write. Star laid down on the bed and went to sleep.

 

The monk turned to Tom, "The kid did know that he was supposed to fight alone, right?"

"I'm not too sure. I'll finish here and go talk to him," Tom said, heading up the stairs."

 

"Corsola, use Spike Cannon" ordered Misty. A barrage of Spikes shot at Scyther and Scyther used agility to dodge. "Scyther, use Air Slash." Zan ordered. At a ninja speed, Scyther used one of its claws to strike Corsola high into the air and then.. "Scyther, use Double Hit" Corsola tried to escape but fell before the Double Hit. Corsola splashed into the pool and Misty frantically cried out "Cousola, use Recover," but it was too late. Misty recalled Corsola and looked at Zan.

"Well Zan, you're pretty good" Misty said. "But your luck has just run out" she cried, throwing a Pokeball into the air. A flash of light and a Gyarados appeared in the pool. "You won't get as lucky with my Gyarados" Misty said, grinning. "How many Pokemon did you say we're using" Zan asked. "Two" said Misty. Scyther readied itself and Misty ordered "Gyarados, use Ice Fang" Gyarados lept at Scyther with it's fangs outstretched and Zan said "Scyther, jump and use X Scissor." The Ice Fang missed as Scyther jumped into the air just above Gyarados's head. Scyther then let loose X Scissor on Gyarados's head and it flailed a bit in pain as Scyther landed safely on the platform.

This kid is good Misty thought. I'd better step it up if I want to win. "Gyarados, use Flamethrower" Misty ordered. Flamethrower? Zan thought. Gyayados then shot flames out of its mouth and reacting quickly, Zan ordered "Scyther, block!" Right before the flames hit, Scyther put its claws in front of it. After the flames stopped, Misty grinned in triumph, but then Scyther lowered its arms. "Wha.. Misty said, and then Zan ordered, "Scyther, Steel Wing" Scyther sped towards Gyarados, its wings outstretched and dealt it a smarting strike.

Gyarados roared and fell, but then got back up looking tired. "No more playing around" Misty shouted. "Gyarados, use Hyper Beam" Misty shouted. Gyarados started charging up the beam and Zan ordered, "Scyther, into the water" Scyther leapt into the water and Misty smiled. " You think that'll help?" Gyarados then shot the Hyper Beam into the place where Scyther had gone under and a large pillar of water shot up. When it lowered, Scyther was no where to be found. Before Misty could gloat, Zan said "It's a good thing that you didn't use Hyper Beam at the get go, otherwise I might have questioned your abilities as a leader, so that's commendable, but still, this battle is mine!" Misty looked astonished and Zan shouted. "Scyther, Hyper Beam." Scyther, who had avoided Gyarados's Hyper Beam and had flown behind its head, charging its own Hyper Beam, unleashed it at full force on Gyarados's head. After the water cleared, Gyarados was lying unconsious on the pool.

Misty looked shocked and then recalled Gyarados. "That was amazing" said Misty. "Even though this isn't your Pokemon's best element, you still triumphed. You have true skills" she finished, smiling. "Thanks" said Zan, grinning back. "I've trained Scyther on land especially, water, and some fire." Misty asked, "Is Scyther your only Pokemon" "Yes, for now" Zan said. "I left the rest at professor Oak's lab after I won the Johto Leauge" he finished, hitching his bag onto his shoulders. "Amazing," Misty said. "For a skilled trainer like you, I am proud to award the Cascade badge" she said pulling it out. "Thank you" he said putting it in his badge case. He turned towards the door. "Bye" he said, opening the door and leaving. He walked inside the Pokemon center and gave his Pokemon to Nurse Joy to heal. He sat on the bench and waited for Alex.

Misty walked through the doors to the pokemon center,Alex hadn't noticed Zan.He walked up to Misty,"Zan's pritty good,huh?" Misty turned,"You know him,but how do you know he won?" Alex smiled,"You always use two pokemon,your Garydos and Corsola,and there is two pokeballs there,which means he won." Misty laughed,"Did you train or something,on deduction,you know?" Alex was gone,"Guess he saw Zan..."

Alex walked up to Zan,"Well done.I'm fine now." He shook Zan's hand and walked over to Misty again."Are your pokemon okay?" Misty nodded."So we can have a battle after?"

 

Tom got to the final floor of Sprout Tower. "Welcome young trainer. Now that you've reached the final floor, you must battle me."

"Okay," Tom smiled, bringing out Cyndaquil.

The monk brought out a Bellsprout, "Bellsprout, Wrap." The Bellsprout wrapped it's vines around Cyndaquil and started squeezing him.

"Cyndaquil, Ember." Cyndaquil shot bits of fire at the Bellsprout, making it faint.

"Go, Weepinbell." The monk brought out his next pokemon.

"Okay Cyndaquil, let's make this quick. Blast Burn." The Cyndaquil shot out a fireball at Weepinbell. The fireball exploded on contact with Weepinbell, fainting it.

"Good job young trainer. Take this." The monk handed him a CD, "This is HM 5. It contains the HM move Flash. You should use it to illuminate caves."

"Thank you," Tom said, taking the HM. He then pulled an Escape Rope out of his backpack, "Gotta go." He used the item, and made it quickly to the entrance of the tower.

 

Zan got up. "I'll watch also. I anjoy learning about the different fighting styles of trainers" He said, getting up.

OOC: What should we do when we get three badges in order to go to Hoenn?

"Yeah of course." They got back to the Gym,Misty sent out her first pokemon,a corsola,Alex knew that the corsola was strong but he sent out his minun.

"Corsola,start with spike cannon!" Alex waited for the attack,just as it came to hit minun he shouted,"Jump back,now minun." The minun did as he said,"Use a thunderball against the ground and jump back again." again,the miun did as he said,and the spikes shot up into the air aiming at the Corsola,"Quick Corsola into the water." The Corsola dove down,"Minun shoot a thunderball int the wa..." Misty interupted,"Protect!" Alex thought for a moment and shouted,"Thunderball,into the water minun." The ball shot into the water,Corsola soon floated to the top though it had fainted.

Zan sat on one of the floating chairs in the pool watching the battle. Alex isn't a bad fighter he thought, drinking a drink while Scyther stayed close by.

OOC: can you make something unexpected to happen after the battle to make things more interesting?
