The New Organization 2: Rematch

Jaxx wasn't paying attention to anything. She didn't even seem to notice the storm she had created. Lightning shot off in the sky nonstop lighting the night with its deadly flare. Jaxx's own voice was screaming from everywhere "I hate you!" It sounded raspy and incoherent.

Kat looked almost scared "Jaxx get a hold of yourself..." she muttered.

Jaxx wasn't listening to anyone, her arms and hands set on fire. Her eyes were the last to change, their usual bright innocent silver turned to the blackest of red. Her eyes were full of hate and betrayal. The ground started shaking and buildings were falling apart.

Kat had to work hard just to continue standing. "Page what's happening to her!?"

*I already know what Page would say and I want to finish this scene before I leave.*

Page shook her head "I don't know! I've never felt an emotion like this before!"

Jaxx hovered off the ground slightly. Kat pulled Ruby and the others back "I... she's not herself. She doesn't recognise anything but hate..."

 

Jaxx had nothing on her expression, it was as soft and normal as the expression of a doll. There was so much hate in her eyes. It would have scared her if she could have seen it. Everything was a daze she was clasterphobic, crowded inside her own heart. Then she simply snapped her fingers, that was all and the castle fell to the ground and everyone fell to their knees with the impact. Jaxx's voice was laughing though Jaxx herself was speaking, "Hunter would rather be dead then to have to endanger his friends. I would rather die than to see him destroy everything he loved. He and I are one in the same as always and you have taken a step too far." She couldnt' control herself but she wasn't afraid. "Ruby, I have one last thing to teach you. Never become like me. Don't be a princess of heart. Do what YOUR heart tells you and nobody elses. Live your own life. Now leave."

 

*Grr... plans changed last second. I guess some ideot that works for my dad screwed something up on the most basic of jobs. He broke the truck that was supposed to be taking some important equipment somewhere and my dad has to go save his ass. I wish he would just fire the guy. Anyway I'm not leaving until like 4:00 tomorrow morning.*

Kat was shocked and confused. She looked between the Hunter that was dying, the Hunter that just showed up, and Jaxx. Jaxx's expression didn't change for a moment. Kat was starting to fear that she was going to kill Hunter anyway and that Ruby was right about Jaxx's heart having been overcome by evil at last but then slowly the lightning stopped and Jaxx stopped hovering. As soon as her feet touched the ground, the earthquake stopped. Kat wasn't sure what to do. She was worried about Ruby "Just stop talking..." she said to Ruby with telepathy. "For now this is between them... i wish your mom had taught you how to use empathy as a power so you would know how she feels. It would be better for all of us if you just be silent for now."

Jaxx was so stunned that whatever hate and evil had control of her previously seemed to die away instantly. She knew that this was the real Hunter. There was no evil behind that smile that she had always thought was so perfect, no red in his eyes. Though she knew it was really him, she couldn't get a hold of herself to actually talk to him. She just stared at him. She even blinked a few times, trying to wake up or make whatever illusion this was to go away but it wasn't. "..." the storm clouds slowly rolled away and Jaxx's eyes returned to their normal blue/silver as the fire died away. She wasn't sure what to do and her biggest fear of no control hit her hard. She actually took a step back like she was about to run away right there on the spot. Inside she was screaming at herself to get control, to say something. "Hunter?..."

 

Kat whispered to Voltiar "To be honest I have no idea..."

Jaxx didn't hear anything of what everyone else was saying. She was still attempting to say something. She knew she probably looked like a total ideot standing there tripping over her words. Again she took a step away like she was going to make a run for it like she did three years ago but something in her heart held her there where she stood.

Jaxx didn't say anything for a moment, she just studied his face and eyes. Then slowly the scared and confused look vanished from her face and she smiled a little "Well it's about time you showed up." she said finally "I was starting to think you forgot us."
