Relationships in High School

I asked the girl out just before the holidays. She sent me an email about saying she didn't like me. What made it worse was that I asked her a week before the email. I thought she said yes. After the email, I was crushed and it spoiled my weekend on that week.
I have gotten over it but it just annoys me that I can't be friends with her anymore. I've tried everything. I said sorry and I wanted to be friends with her and I hope we could stop ignoring each other. I actually kinda dislike her now because she didn't want to be friends even. She's always checking to see if I'm looking at her or just ignore me. It's incredibly annoying and I give up. I don't know what to do.

 

Dude, I say give up on dating until college. A girl asks you and you like her, go for it. Otherwise, spare yourself the pain.

I've thought that for three years now. It hurts too much.

 

While i won't say it doesn't hurt,I can't really say it does.Me and my ex both wern't really affected,as in depression or anything.Another reason I know it defintly wasnt going to work.But I know alot of people who it hurt really bad,two which are recent.The guy that a friend of mine just broke up with believes that she is leading him on when she defintly isnt,and alot of other things with other people.I count myself lucky that this stuff didnt happen to me,but I dont want to date till college now,just like the plan was before.Actually,I'll probably end up dieing alone,but ya,oh well.Dont know till after the fact.

 

I dunno, I say let life take it's course. Lead you where it will.

 

ya see i think highschool relationships are great. it gives you somthing to do in life and you can meet sombody that you will want to know for the rest of your life even if you aint dating anymore. and if theur wernt highschool relationships then teens would just go around fucking each other.

 

I say let life work on it's own. If it's meant to happen, it will.

 

Right now,in total contradiction to stuff I have said and maybe others,another friend of mine has a great relationship right now that started in high school.The guy is in college right now,but was a senior last year,and my friend is a senior this year.They met in marching band.They are doing good now,and may go through life together,who knows.And teens have sex anyway roxas.Relationship gives some an excuse to.

 

Sorry this is a little rude. But the topic of this thread is about high school relationships and if they work. Although your personal experience's are appreciated in the view of your opinion on the direct matter, your flings are spam.

My opinion is that relationships are helpful, you should try get out as much as you can while your young not too young, tho. Also don't take the the wrong way. I think it helps get people more confident. But high school relationships are often taking to far. Girls and guys here other people talking about loosing their virginity and they feel its uncool they haven't. Also the 'love' factor is taken to far. Its used to often, and alot of people don't know what it means

 

Read my sig. I know what u'r all talking about. I was looking for a serious relationship, it would start off as a puppy love thing, then we'd get more serious....you know, like regular people. But then she told me she loved me. My heart melted. I waqS JUST SO HAPPY!....a week later we broke up, because she was just a little girl, she couldn't be serious, and she "just wanted to be friendz". You see, serious "love" can't exist for teenz, unless they get married and stuff, "highschool sweet heart" ype oh thing. Other wise you don't know what you want until it hits you in the face. But thats why teenz should date, so we can find what we want in relationships, and to learn from the experiences.

Puppy love, thats what most highschool relationships are.

I agree with the hole sex thing. MOST GUYS JUST WANT SEX! I personally don't until I'm 18, but I 'understand' why most guys do what they do. Its not right, its just the stupid guy thing to do. Thats why I'd never do it.

yeah, this is the second time its happened to me. I keep falling for the fickle chicks. It makes me depressed.
On the upside, 5 chicks came up to me the day after we broke up and said they'd want to o out with me, so I'm in a somewhat good position if yah know what I mean ^_^. One was the f'ing hottest chick thats a Sophmore in my school. But I'm still hurtin' inside.

Same thing happened to one of my best friendz. He's known this girl since he was little. She's really hot, but she's an 8th grader. My budz suppoed to be a freshmen, but his ma held him back. Anyways, he asked her out a ew timez, she says no, no, yes, no, no, no, yes, and then after going out for a day or two, no again. I feel bad for him, but they are still like best friends. Thats good I guess. She'll realize she likes him after a while.

 

Eh... the girl is my cousin's best friend and it sucks because I think I actually like her alot and that's when it really stings.
