The Way To Dusk

Tidus nods, staring forward.

"No better way to find out than going for yourself. Now, as I have been going through my studies of magic, I found that the magic itself stems from your heart. No better place for it to start from. Its what fuels the different types of magic as well. Different types of hearts give you different magic. For example, that is why I am adept with water magic. Strangely enough, when you lose your heart, sometimes you can keep that magic with you. But usually it goes away, or changes drastically."

 

"That's interesting," Gerik nodded, "I wonder what kind of magic I have. So far, all I have are my keyblades."

 

Semnax brought his family into the castle. Semnax and Jasmine were alone, "Jasmine, this is bad. If Adam is hearing voices that are telling him to kill you, then it means someone is trying to kill the princesses of heart."

 

"Only time can tell really. You can't be taught to learn it, only to get better at it. Once your heart decides you need the magic, it will be revealed to you. Then you can find others who have learned more advanced forms of your magic. And the keyblades obviously are brimming with magic. But being that I don't have one of my own, I don't know much about that."

Tidus lifts his trident, resting it on his shoulder instead of using it like a walking stick.

"What I have found out, wasn't through book work or research only. It was through experiencing it firsthand."

He smiles, breathing in the air deeply. What better way to learn right? Studying was fine for him, and he was good at it. But going out and having an adventure was much more involving and exciting. The people he had met, fought, and protected was a lengthy list.

 

"Jasmine, I think you need to spend an entire day alone with him. Mabey your pressence will help. Of course I'll be watching to from a hidden location for your protection."

 

"O'k. But please be careful, I love you." Adam was on the balcony crying, "What the hell is wrong with me?"

 

"Mom, i'm sorry. I can't beleive I hurt you, I wish I could make it up to you."

 

Adam smilled, "Yeah, that would be great." Jasmine and Adam went to the ice cream palor and Adam ordered his and his father's favorite, mint chocolate flavor. "Mom, you and dad went to this ice cream place for your first date right?"

 

"Dad told me. He loves you so much. I wonder if I can be half the man he is?"

 

"I guess it's a good thing I'm a patient person," Gerik laughed, "Even if I want to learn as much as I can."

 

"I wish. None of the other kids ever play with me or want to hang out with me. Thats why I stay in the castle. It's so lonely." This sounded alot like how Semnax life was before he met Jasmine.

 

"Did the kids go so far as to threaten his sister. The kids have threatened to rape Alice."

 

"A boy named chad and his gang. They told me they want to rape her until she dies."
