"Jesse, sir." Jesse smiled. He was glad her father approved.

 

Kyuu smiled. "I knew it, dad, thanks!" she said.

 

Jesse smiled, "Yes, thank you sir."

 

"You don't have to call me sir if you don't want." he said and smiled. Kyuu was also smiling.

 

Jesse smiled, "What would you like me to call you."

 

Cornelius glared at Hope, you could see the daggers in his eyes. "Do not speak to me human." He turned to Val. "And as for you, if you want your little slut to live, you'd best come with me."

Val growled at his father's words. He crouched and spread his arms, and focused his power on his father. He brought his arms together, and a massiver burst of physical energy erupted from his hands. There was so much power, you could see the surging energy.

With a loud roar, his father disappeared. "As you wish. . .son."

Val turned to Hope, "Well, that was interesting enough wasn't it? You want to stay at my place, or shall I take you home? I can stay outside your room if you want."

 

He smiled too, "Whatever you want to." he said, "I'll go now, I have lots of work to do." he waved his hand to Jesse and left the room. Kyuu hugged Jesse, "I knew he would approve it."

 

Jesse kissed her, "I hope you don't mind dating your new brother."

 

Val looked away, deep in thought. Then looked back at Hope, smiling.

"No Hope, there's nothing wrong with being human." He sighed. "The sin in this is being a vampire." Val closed his eyes. "I despise what I am. I'm the very epitome of sin itself. I may not take the life of innocent of an human, but I still need to take the lives of others to sustain my own." He laughed. "But at the very least. I am glad about one thing."

He opened his eyes, "At least I get to vent my anger on rouges." He looked deep into Hope's eyes. "And it lead me to you." He drew her close.

"I'm going to pay in hell and more for this. Even though I'm old enough to know better, I'm too young to give a damn."

 

Kyuu kissed him back and smiled, "No, I guess it's quite hard to think about you as a brother."

 

"It's kinda strange thinking about you as a sister."

 

Val paused. "Well. . .that'd be a first for my eyes." He'd managed to get to Val before. This girl really was a catch.

Val got back on the bike. "So Hope, to my place or yours?"

 

Val thought for a moment, the got a curious grin. "My place. I'm in the mood to impress." He paused, "If I haven't already. Joking, don't hurt me!" He ducked his head pretending to hide.

"Hop on princess."

 

Kyuu smiled. "Now we just have to wait till you get out of here."

 

Jesse kissed her, "I'll be out in no time, sis." He said as a joke.

 

"That's good to hear, and there's much more to see." He turned to Hope. "Would you like to see the express way to my place?"
