Kyuu sighed. "Thanks." she walked back to Jesse's room and sat on his bed again. "There are you." She still felt bad about his arm and she wasn't sure if she wanted to tell him it now but she knew she had to.

 

Jesse took the orange juice and took a sip, "Why do you look worried?"

 

Kyuu sighed. "The doctor told me one thing... about your arm." she looked at the floor.

 

"What about my arm?" Jesse looked really worried now.

 

Kyuu still looked at the floor. "I'm sorry, Jess... it's all my fault." she looked at him. "They said your arm.. they said you can't use it anymore." she looked sad. "I'm so sorry..."

 

Jesse looked shocked but then he hugged Kyuu, "It's not your fault. If this is the price I must pay for saving your life then it was worth it."

 

Kyuu kissed him. "I'm still sorry.." she said, "I love you."

 

Jesse looked into her eyes, "I'll aways protect you. You are the most beautiful, wondeful girl that i've ever met."

 

Kyuu smiled. "Thanks, Jess. That's always so good to hear from you. I don't know what I would do without you."

 

"If I did'nt have you, my life would have no meaning....Thank you." He kissed her passionatly.

 

Kyuu felt warm and happy in his holding. "We will always be together, right? And when you'll get out of here, we can go to New York together, just you and I."

 

"Right, just you and I. I'll show you the statue of Liberty, The spot where the world trade center used to be, Time square......Well i'm getting a little ahead of myself. I'll show you all of New York."

 

Kyuu smiled. "I cannot wait. It'll be fantastic with you."

 

Jesse loved holding her and making her feel safe. Thats when Both of their parents came in to the room. Jesse felt strange holding Kyuu so close when her parents were watching.

 

Kyuu blushed when she noticed her mom and dad. "Uh, hiya..." she said.

 

Her dad looked at Jesse in an angry way, "Uhh....Hello, sir." Jesse then looked at his parents and he looked really sad.

 

Kyuu didn't want to look at his father. Jesse's mom didn't care about Kyuu at the moment. She looked at her son worried. Kyuu's mom furrowed when she looked at Kyuu. She wanted she to explain.

 

Jesse looked nervous, "Umm I can explain......"

Kyuu's mom looked at Jesse and raised her eyebrow, "Yes?" her dad still looked at him angrily but didn't say anything.

 

"Well I took Kyuu to the park and then we ate dinner. I gave her a necklace and tickets to New York. I was driving her home when a drunk driver swirled and hit the car, I jumped in front of Kyuu to save her life and I lost the use of my right arm. And thats how we got here." Jesse looked at kyuu's father and said, "I love your daughter and I would give my life for her."
