    Niki grabbed her bike. When they reached Shino's street she waved to him and quickly petaled home. She came to the house she threw her bike against the side of the house.

    "Listen I'm really, really sorry. You want to just go somewhere? Dad doesn't get home till 12 tonight because of the town meeting. How about McDonalds or something, What you want to do?" Niki asked her little sister stomping around in the kitchen. She noyiced though she didn't take her sandy wet beach shoes off and got sand on the marble floor in the kitchen and main entrance way. She quickly took her shoes off and set them by the kitchen door. They were flip flops and just stuck them in water. She went and mopped up the sand waiting for her sisters answer.
