"I agree." she said and smiled. After few moments she had eaten all of her food. "It was delicious."

 

Jesse fnished his food and paid the waiter. He took Kyuu outside and kissed her. He pulled two tickets from his pocket, "I know you have always wanted to see a big city, so I bought us plane tickets to New York."

 

"I believe you," Tom laughed.

 

Aya smiled "So what was your name again?" she asked. She really wasn't that good with names.

 

"Tom," he answered, not really suprised that she forgot. He always thought that he was one of the people that people just forget about. He got used to it, so it didn't bother him that much.

 

Aya nodded, "Thats kind of a cool name. I wont forget it again. I promise."

 

"That's nice to know," Tom smiled, "But no going back on promises, okay?"

 

Aya laughed, "Oh never." she said submissively. "What kind of a girl do you think I am to break promises?"

 

"There's been a lot of people that hate me becuase of these. . ." Val shook his head. "I'm just glad you're not one of them, especially you." Ah hell. . .oops.

 

Kyuu hugged him. "Awesome, Jess!" she smiled and kissed him. "I've always wanted to see New York... my hometown and country are so little."

 

Jesse kissed her, "We can spend christmas in New york."

 

Kyuu was still smiling. "I wonder what my parents will say..." she thought for a moment, "I think I don't care about it." she grinned.

 

Jesse kissed her again, "If we let our parents stop us then we'll never be happy. Will you trust me?"

 

Kyuu smiled. "Of course." she said, "No matter what they say, I'll be with you."

 

Jesse held her close, "Thank you. I will always protect you."

 

Kyuu kissed him again, "Thanks. I'll be with you forever." she smiled.

Jesse and Kyuu were in the car driving down the road. When suddenly a drunk drver swirled toward them. Jesse jumped in front of Kyuu to protect her. The whole front end of the other car hit Jesse. He was laying on top of Kyuu, he was bloody and his head was bleading badly. "Kyuu......are you alright?" He could barely speak.

 

Val just smiled, and closed his eyes. He stood there, savoring being close to her. It'd been so long since he'd had any contact with anyone.

He opened his eyes, and joined her gaze. "Why?" He smiled, "This." He placed his right hand on her cheek, and pulled her close to him. Betraying his guarded heart, and finally, he opened himself up to another person. God help me. . .
