the seven is not included in the title so its not relevant we only even know about the 7 days because people were confused about what the title meant and he had to explain that it references the course of one year.

No you misunderstood 358/2 references a year a year is pertaining to the zodiac.
360 and 179 is the division of the seasons of summer and winter. And you touch on it your self. The calender days are greek in origin and yes they have their origins in afro Asiatic culture and traditions. They have not died out at all. Everything is still based around this.
