Digimon Generations: Rise of the Deva Kings

Beelzemon frowned but did not reply. After thinking about his response, the Demon Lord digimon began to speak, "I was abused, beaten half to death and then brought back countless times over. I'm not evil. I work for the Deva Kings because they promised me that with enough hard work I'd finally find a partner. I worked and worked until finally, I was bonded to Katia. I didn't expect myself to fall in love, that wasn't the plan. I was going to get a partner and live... but then you... I fell in love with you. I don't know why, but you stood up to me! A mega! While you were still a rookie, and that's when it happened. You and I... we are different, but we share many things. Loyalty, honor, courage, and a warrior's heart. We stand up for ourselves and that's what makes us... us. I know... that you'll probably never reciprocate my feelings, but even so, I'll still protect you and Katia with my life..."

Beelzemon had no idea how his next words would affect him in the near future, "Even... Even from Kaiser and the other Deva Kings." Letting his words sink in, he lifted Labramon and began the walk back to their home, while also waiting for Labramon's response.

 

Beelzemon didn't respond, he just continued walking. After a while, they arrived back at the castle, "We're here... but it looks like something's wrong..." Beelzemon pointed towards Kaiser and his digimon, as they were talking about Sonya. "Come on... it's not safe here... we have to find Katia, or we'll be in trouble. Do you sense her nearby, Labramon?"


Flaremon stopped midway and jumped back. She was, to say the least, confused. LadyDevimon had not made a single move since her evil wing attack, and Flaremon wasn't aiming to kill her, just stage a fight. "Come now LadyDevimon, are you just going to stand there or are you going to entertain me? Here, I'll even give you a free shot!" Flaremon spread out her arms, leaving herself open for attack by LadyDevimon.

 

"And what if Kaiser just so happened to ask me out?" Hoshi cooed; her voice sounded oddly playful, considering her personality. "What if he decided he wanted to date me, and he gave me his permission, hmmmm? Or does the great Kaiser need his brother's approval to date as well? And does the brother have the nerve to stand in the way of his romantic affairs? Somehow, I don't think you do." She let out a happy sigh and concluded, "but I'll take your offer, I think. If I win, then I get to go out with Kaiser. And if you win... You get full, direct authority over my sector of Quad City... And everyone in it."​

The fool! Kuroneko thought, amused by the tactics, or lack thereof employed by Flaremon. To charge one's enemies without caution is a dangerous think, hot stuff. Let me show you why. She stood in wait, allowing Flaremon to close in on her a bit. Then, with the gap between them providing a striking distance, she thrust her arm hand forward in the form of a sharp spear point, with which she targeted Flaremon's clothes lining arm at the joint with the shoulders. With right hand, she threw a hard, hooking punch into the side of Flaremon's torso, forming a two-pronged assault.​

 

Aire and Patamon arrived on the outskirts of Leomon's village. The only thing between them and the village itself was the slope of the hill which they were upon. Something was definitely amiss. From the few digimon that could be seen. There was some type of uproar or disturbance in the vicinity. "Let's go talk to that digimon, there!" Patamon said pointing like a golden retriever.

 

Ashe laughed, "You have yourself a deal."

Flaremon roared in pain as Kuroneko stabbed her arm, however she managed to catch the incoming fist and increase the temperature of her flames to 100 degrees(F) effectively burning both of Kuroneko's hands/arms. "Well that wasn't very bright of you Kuroneko." Flaremon purred out happily, awaiting a response from her opponent.

 

Pure satisfaction coursed through Kuroneko's mind as her speared hand drove through Flaremon's arm. It was a solid strike, piercing through one side of the arm and exiting through the other. However, she found her fist gripped in Flaremon's other hand. It was an awkward position to be in, but the LadyDevimon could see that the situation could play it out into her favor. She pulled out the speared hand just in time to avoid it being caught in the fires that her fist was. She winced, and huffed against the pain of the fire steadily burning her knuckles. "I could say the same to you hun," she said, readying her spear hand for another strike. She could deal with the discomfort of the burning sensation for a while longer. Taking quick aim, she made another thrust of her spear hand, this time aiming to pierce into Flaremon's other arm. I wonder... will you withdraw your hand, or let me strike you again, she thought.​

Meanwhile, in the nearby village, several young Digimon from the forest came running into the square, apparently flustered by the events taking place in the forest. Screaming in a panic, they attracted a large gathering of other Digimon, all of whom arrived with worried expressions. "H-h-help!" one of the young Digimon said. "LadyDevimon and F-f-Flaremon are fighting in the woods. It's only a matter of time before they fight their way h-h-h-here!"

"Oh dear," a Digimon in the crowd said.

"What will we do?" another one asked.

"Who will help us?" asked yet another.

"No one can now that Leomon is dead!" one chimmed in in a sulking tone. "We're done for!"

"Hush up everyone!" shouted a gruff voice from the crowd.

"Yeah. Don't call yourselves doomed just yet!" called another.

At that moment, the owners of the last two voices stepped through the crowd. A Grizzlymon and a Gururumon walked into the center of the audience. "We'll take care of this, no sweat!" Gururumon said powerfully and reassuringly.

"Leomon's death will not have sapped the spirit and hope of THIS village!" added Grizzlymon.

"Let's go brother!" Gururumon said as it dashed through an opening through the crowd.

"To victory!" bellowed Grizzlymon as it followed suit, followed by cheers of support from the villagers.​

 

Beelzemon smiled and followed Labramon back to the house, when he saw Katia, he waved hello and took a seat on one of the couches. "I've made up my mind. I'm going to protect both of you. Even if I have to face Kaiser... I will protect you..."


Flaremon laughed as Kuroneko attempted to impale her other arm, "Really Kuroneko? That's just weak! CRIMSON LION DANCE!" Flaremon roared as she began spinning, still holding onto Kuroneko as both were engulfed into a massive flaming tornado.

 

Beelzemon looked up and smiled nervously, "Y-Yes please..." He looked at Labramon and sighed, "I'm sorry I got you into this... I should of talked to Kaiser before... I should have done something to stop him before this got out of hand...! I couldn't bare to see any of you die... It's why I already betrayed Kaiser... I never killed Zac. I sent him back to the real world with a card... I-I didn't want to be a murderer... I didn't want to be a bad guy. Forgive me."

 

Beelzemon nodded, "Y-Yeah, that was him..." Beelzemon reached up into a cabinet above him and pulled out a small box of band-aids. He stood up and walked over to Katia, "Careful there... Don't want to be hurting yourself. Once we eat you should... probably get some sleep Katia. I'll keep watch while you two sleep... I told you I'd protect you, and I wasn't kidding." He handed the band-aids to Katia and retook his seat near Labramon.

" Don't kid yourself you monstrous garbage i'm no regular Greymon." Alix looked up at his new found dragon companion. " Make ash out of this jerk Greymon!!" Cyclonemon let out a yell that shook the ground. " Fools all of you, i'll be sure to burn your body till nothing is left" Cyclonemon charged forward to Greymon Both colliding shoulder to shoulder causing a massive quake. Alix himself fell to the ground " Woah what power...that's amazing! Get em !!" Greymon gripped his claws into Cyclonemon applying pressure to the ground around him. "aaahhaaAAHHH!!!" He roared as he flipped the behemoth sized digimon onto its back. " You think you stand a chance against me! i have Alix by my side i'll never loose.

" Bastard! you underestimiate who your fighting!!" Cyclonemon whipped his tail knocking greymon back a few feet for him to get up. " Take this you trash." The digimon extended his arm back then quickly shot it out " Arm Bomber!" He yelled as it collided with Greymon's chest. " Greymon you can do this!" Alix's companion was taking shot after shot till finally he was pressed against the mountainside. " Your no match! I'll burn your body!" He ramed into Greymon yelling " Hyper Heat!" A loud hissing sound came from his body as it started to burn Greymon at a rapidly intensifying heat.

The loud roar that Greymon let out could be heard miles around as he was being put through torturing pain. "Greymon!!!!!" Alix yelled raising his Digivice into the air. it beeped letting out a light blast into Greymon. "No..not yet...were not done" Greymon grasped the arm of Cyclonemon pulling it away from his body and then landing a strong punch against his face. " I will protect Alix from you!" Using his horn he shoved Cyclonemon back and charged him head on piercing the dragon hybrid." Cyclonemon was stuttering in pain.

" Mega flame!" Greymon roared as a bolt of fire left his mouth attacking Cyclone mon who raised his arm quickly slapping it away" You will not defeat me here! " Arm Bomber!!!!" " That does it i've had it with you!" Greymon shout out as he opened his mouth. " Mega Burst!" A massive ball of fire was shot from his mouth as it traveled it turned the ground to ash. finally colliding with the attack of Cyclonemon it began to burn away his arm. " Nooo nooo!! no-" he was cut off as it began to collide with his body burning him and the surrounding area to ashes and soot. " I am Geo-Greymon!!

The dust settled and Geo-Greymon reverted into agumon. rocks and boulders began to move opening a tunnel. "Come Forth.." A voice said inside of Alix's head" What..was that just now" Agumon ran over to him " Alix i think we need to go in. The box holding the others were dispersed as they were teleported next to Alix. he turned to them all. "You guys alright?"
