Modern Legend of Zelda (OOC + SU)

So... I'm making a fairy, and the demon lord. Does the demon lord need to follow suit with the whole Ganon thing? Like how closely related does this all have to be to the main series?

 

A sub plot idea for Ace is his role in Hyrule(forgot to put this in profile DX) As King of the Gerudo, and seeing as this is more modern, it'd make sense that the leaders of each race meet every while to discuss... stuff lol.

Anyway, connecting to DW's and even Hope's characters, perhaps, Ace caused the shift in gender?


Also, Ace abandoned the forest at age 14, so any Kokiri characters 14 or older know who he is.

Description:

Being a Guardian Fairy, a lesser being as Fairies are concerned, Eve is not very large. At a height of only five inches, she could easily fit in someone's pocket, or stand in the palm of their hand for that matter. Yet her body is perfectly proportioned to her height, giving her an attractive appearance, comparable to the others of the Fairies. Though she usually appears fluttering around surrounded by an orb of bright green light, she does in fact have a distinctly human appearance, albeit downsized.

She has lightly tanned and smooth skin. Other than that, her entire appearance seems to be a collage of green shades. Her hair and eyes are both the brilliant green of fresh grass. Her hair is waist-length, and tied back in a ponytail that usually hangs over the front of her left shoulder. A gold band rests atop her head, apparently keeping her hair tight and in place. Butterfly-like wings sprout out from her spine. She's seen to be wearing a two piece outfit consisting of an ankle-length white dress with green trim, and a green vest that cuts off just above the belly-button.

Personality:

As with most Fairies assigned to Guardian roles, Eve was specially picked to handle the Kokori she was to protect and guide. While Josleyn has rather over-bearing and potentially reckless tendencies, Eve is a more collected and thoughtful individual. She devotes what energy she has into trying to steer Jos away from those situations in which she might get herself into trouble (with school or otherwise). Even with these efforts, she has a great amount of forethought and foresight, which means that she always has a plan in mind for those eventualities, namely being that Jos can and WILL be drawn into situations that could lead her to problems; Eve generally has some sort of escape plan in mind, or some other back-up plan.

Her attitudes towards Josleyn are the crux example of her interactions with others. She acts in a very parental manner. But this isn't the typical "loving accepting" parent model that some might expect. She takes a very strict stance towards Jos' wild side, and works by all means to instil at least some balance of caution into her thought process. When moments arise in which Jos has not controlled herself, or has stepped over the line, Eve is quick to react. Usually, these reactions equate to brief moments of scolding, and sometimes condescending; they simmer down after a short while though, and, albeit annoyed, she takes the steps to help her friend out of the mess they're in. When she sees trouble before it happens, she's even known to go to extreme lengths, even as far as casting her magic upon Jos herself to get a point across.

Abilities:

• Flight; the wings on her back aren't just for show. Despite their apparent frailty, they're in fact very tough, and produce and extreme amount of force. They can flap as rapidly as a hummingbird's wings, allowing Eve to hover in spot for long periods. For something so small, she can fly rather quickly, being able to span across the Kokori Forest in moments if need be, and maneuver with an agility akin to the most able of birds.
• Protective Magic; one of Eve's staple abilities is her defensive magic. She is capable of protecting very potent shield spells upon both herself and others. These shields are not only solidly defended against strikes from blades and the like, but equally act as barriers to protect those within them from the effects of other magic. However, when powerful beings surge their magical power forth, Eve's shielding abilities can only ever do so much Before caving in.
• Apparent Telepathy; Eve is able to perform some basic techniques of telepathy. She's able to speak directly with others via ESP, and channeling thoughts from herself to any chosen person. She can even act, to some extent, as a bridge between individuals between a certain range of each other.
• Analysis; easily, Eve's most potent abilities are those geared towards deciphering others in combat (and in life in general). In battles, she is able to analyze foes, picking out potential weaknesses or flaws, and thus, is able to calculate a means by which to defeat them.
• Random Bursts; as a Fairy, Eve has other magical potentials, but they are kept in check by nature of her creation. However, random bursts of potent offensive magic are often witnessed, particularly when she's angered by something or someone. Most notably, she tends to project extremely powerful kinetic forces when severely annoyed or at worst enraged.

Bio:

Eve came into being, as most fairies do, in one of the most sacred of places in the Kokori Forest: The Great Deku Tree's Meadow; this was roughly one hundred years ago. The Great Deku Tree, being a great guardian of the Kokori Forest as a whole, took Eve, and many other fairies into his consul. As Eve might admit if you nag long enough, this period in time was rather stale and slow-moving. She spent several decades listening to the Great Deku Tree's tales of Hyrule and its many peoples, a tedious process, from which all of the new Fairies were expected to memorize everything that they possibly could about the Forest, and the world beyond it. Surprisingly though, Eve was able to take note of just about everything that seemed to be a major point, and several of the smaller bits of information.

Following this period, Eve was sent to live amongst the Forest-Dwellers. Not yet an acting Fairy Guardian for one child, she was charged with viewing the populace of the Forest as a whole. She reported directly back to the Deku Tree on a regular basis. Again, though, this was a rather uneventful period in Eve's life, though slightly less so than the previous. After another few decades of service, she felt ready to protect a single Kokori through their lifetime. The Deku Tree could see this in her feelings, and complied with her wishes. "There's a child in the Forest," he had told Eve. "A child that is important to Hyrule. A child that must be preserved at all costs; yet the Kokori can no longer see to that. You're the one charged with this course of action. I know you'll do her well."

Shortly after, Eve came into Guardianship over the young Josleyn. The girl was 14 years old at the time, and before long, she would be leaving the comfort and safety of the Kokori Forest to attend school at the Castleton Academy. It was then that Eve's life became more lively and adventurous. In the early days of her relation with Josleyn saw difficulty on Eve's part; Jos was an adventurous soul, and having a Fairy of her own to guide and protect only served to strengthen her towards that end. The adventures became more numerous, and there was little the Fairy could do to dissuade her from her path, without resorting to some aggressive behavior. But like any relationship, theirs grew into its own, with Eve growing a bit more supportive of Jos' adventurous side.

Eve has been at Jos' side throughout her time in attendance at Castleton Academy, and has accompanied and protected her on multiple occasions; through the mishaps and the close-cuts with authority. But even she can't foresee the events that are about to unfold.
