    Interesting OOC Facts:
My cousin (oathkeeperXIII) and I were talking yesterday about video games yesterday. Somehow we got into how cool it would be if they made a modern-day type of Zelda game. Because they are pretty timeless. Anyway we decided to attempt to make a roleplay based on this thought. Its an open RP. Anyone can join.

Legend of Zelda - Song of Storms (Dubstep Remix by Stoofn) - YouTube

    Setting:
Hyrule is where this RP takes place though take the idea of this fantasy world and modornise it somewhat. The humans, gorons, elves, faries, zoras, etc... of Hyrule all live a much more modern lifestyle but all electronics and whatnot are run by magic not electricity. To work them, you must know the right spell.

Castleton- *Castle Town* Is the largest city in Hyrule. Mostly rich people live in Castleton and it's also the home of Hyrules largest High School, Castle Town HIgh. Parents from all over Hyrule send their children to Castle Town High because they teach more than just things like English, magic, and Math. Kids are taught at that school the old ways of Hyrule's history, and the ways of Hyrule Knighthood. Graduites from Castletown High often end up being a part of the Royal Guard or important figures in Hyrule's government. (Though it is still a monarchy, the royal family has many elected advisors and governors whom they must consult with.)
Castleton is also the home of the Royal family, the highest figures in Hyrules government, though certainly not the only one. Castleton's population is mixed widly between all of the different races of Hyrule because of it's size, safeness from dangers outside it's walls, and most obviously the school which accepts children of all races.
    Characters For This Area:
Prince of Hyrule (Yep Im switching things up a bit. Will also be the Triforce of Wisdom, student at the academy, and best friend of Goddesses Hero. This will be a large and difficult role to play so it will be a try-out character. To Try Out, make a profile for the character along with the try out for a second-choice character, just in case. When it's time to start accepting characters, I'll read through the prince profiles and then speak personally to each applicant over PM or MSN. The Roleplayer that I think has the most potential to be an active, relivant, useful fit for the character will get the part.)
Students of Castle Town High- (can be of any race and from any region of Hyrule.)
    Citizens-
Other Members of the Royal Family-

Kokiri Forest-Kokiri may very well be the the second largest civilization in Hyrule... if you can find it. Kokiri is a city in the trees of it's forest, well hidden high up in the branches. The citizens of Kokiri are mostly the elves and fairies who protect the forest. The elves have lived in the forest for hundreds of years and the abilities to communicate with the forest are genetic. They are the only race of people(besides faries) who can wander deep into the depths of the forest without getting lost or killed by some of the forests hostile wildlife/plantlife. The Kokiri elves are a very religious tribe who still believe in, and worshop, the goddesses Din, Farore, and Nayru. The elves don't practice some of the modern ways that other Hyrulian people do. Within the walls of their forests they still live very much like they did hundreds of years ago. Not nessisarily because they have anything againt that way of living, it is just more conveniant to live in the forest if you respect it. Children from Kokiri are often sent to Castle Town High School durring the school season and they have little trouble adjusting to the 'pampered' life of Castleton's citizens. Many stories of a Legendary hero who saved Hyrule from it's darkest times come from Kokiri. According to the ledgends the world was once at a breaking point and was ruled by a deamon lord who enjoyed the chaos. The goddesses then chose a hero of courage to defeat the deamon king to clear a path to a brighter future for Hyrule. Equipped with a weapon of pure justice and light, the goddesses hero fought the demon lord valiantly but was not yet strong enough to defeat him so he instead locked him away deep inside the center of the earth, though it was a temporary solution, the goddesses knew that this prison could not hold the evil king forever. So, so says the story anyway, someday the evil king will escape from his prison and seek his revenge on Hyrule, the goddesses, and their hero. Darkness will reign again on Hyrule on that day. The only hope for the world will be that the hero, reincarnated (and much stronger from living many different lives throughout the course of history), will accept his destiny and stop the deamon forever. Though the Kokiri people will not answer clearly, if asked wether or not they really believe in these tales, they continue to tell them. They are a very secretive tribe of people.
Lost deep in Kokiri forest is rumored to be the temple of the goddess of courage, Farore. Though none of the Elves have ever been able to find such a place. The fairies may have an idea as to it's location but Faries are secretive and won't say even if they did.
    Characters Needed For This Area:
    The Goddesses Hero: Hope
    Elf Characters:
    Fairy Characters:

Death Mountain- Was once home to the mightly gorons, though over the past few years living on this great volcano has become very difficult, even for the rock people. The volcano has been erupting frequently and strange very hostile creatures have been coming from the volcano itself. The monsters seem otherworldly. Due to the hostile conditions of the mountain the Gorons have been forced to live in a human town at the base of the mountain (which causes some disputes about land once in a while) called Kakariko. Death Mountain is rumored to also house the temple of the goddess of power, Din. Though it has never been seen.
    Characters Needed From This Area:
Death Mountain was once home to Gorons but now it is barren. You can make a bad guy character reside here if you want, one powerful enough to withstand the harsh conditions and monsters that live there. But I'll except one... maybe two if I get a good enough reason.

Kakariko- Kakariko is a small town at the base of Death Mountain. It's population is mostly human though recently the Gorons have been forced to live there too which has caused some contention. See, hundreds of years ago, The land which is now Kakariko belonged to the Gorons. When the first human citizens came to Hyrule, the Gorons gave them the land as a token of friendship. Now, hundreds of years later, The Gorons are forced to move back into the land and now contention breaks lose over which civilization of people is the correct owner of the land. For now, the land has been devided into two different parts: Goron Village and Kakariko. Humans and Gorons don't get along very well, even their children at Castleton High School have disputes with each other because of the pridgudices of their parents.
    Characters Needed From This Area:
    Sheikah Characters:
    Human Characters:
    Goron Characters:

Lake Hylia- A great Lake North of Castleton. Seemingly, Lake Hylia is a quiet place. A good vacation spot maybe. There is a wide variety of fish and the rapids there are good for boating too. But deep in the lake, way too far down for any average human or goron or even elf to swim, resides the real occupants of Lake Hylia. The wise and graceous Zora clan. The Zoras own dominion of Lake Hylia, especially in it's depths. They are a friendly race and are very kind to any creature who can survive a swim to their domain. Zoras are often only seen on the surface when rescuing a drowning adventurer or child who swam too far away from Hylia's shore. But the lake is also very dangerous for the Zora's are not the only race of intelligent beings who live in Hylia. The lake is shared with the mermaids, who are not as friendly. Merfolk are independant and territorial. They often travel the large lake alone or in small groups and it is not for certain wether or not there is a specific home for the mer people at the bottom of the lake, for few peopel, besides Zoras, have come across a mermaid and lived to tell the tale.
Legend Says that the Merfolk are so territorial of the water because they have been guarding something somewhere in the lake. Wether or not it could be the entrance to the third Temple of the Goddesses, I cant say.
    Characters Needed For this Area:
    Zora Characters:
    Mermaid Characters:
    Other:

Gerudo Desert: Deep in the Desert is a large city called Gerudo Vally. Gerudo Vally is home to the Gerudo Clan and many, many, many tourists of all races. It is a city full of partying, indulging, gambling, and pretty much anything else imaginable. Tourists often come for the entertainment and gambling that the Gerudo offer but more often than that, leave poorer than they were when they arrived. The Gerudo are sly and often not 100% honest. (Read more in Race Descriptions Below). Even Deeper into the desert are the Gerudo Ruins. They are a historical mystery (much like our Stone Henge), they are a series of strange buildings that have no windows or doors and markings all over them that no one can make sense of, written in an age-old forgotten language. The only hint we have to unlocking the mystery of these large towers are the Triforce Symbols which can be seen carved into the walls of each one.
Gerudo Desert is also home to the Dragons, a fierce but intelligent race (I don't really think I need to go into much detail about their appearence). Dragons are large scaly creatures. But they are intelligent, friends of the Gerudo Race. They don't communicate with us the way we do but they have their ways to make their point known. Just don't get on a dragon's bad side. Unless you have a death Wish.
    Characters Needed For This Area:
    Gerudo Characters:
Dragons: (Many Gerudo Are connected to a dragon from a young age.)

Desert Mines/Caves: A series of caves deep in the desert where the vampiric Drakul tribe lives and harvests bloodstone, which is a very rare gem with dark qualities. Besides Drakul, mortal beings try to avoid the caves at all costs because of the evil nature that comes from the environment itself let alone it's dark inhabitants. Once entered, few have ever escaped alive. Beyond the caves, legend tells of a tomb of the kings of old. These are only legends though, no one but a Drakul would really know what you would find if you ventured too far into the caves. Good luck trying to get one of them to talk to you.

Ice Mountain- On the exact oposite side of Hyrule from Death Mountain, South of Castleton and found if you travel far enough through Kokiri Forest. Ice Mountain was named true to it's climate, the mountains are made up of pure ice and it is near constantly stormy at the mountain's peaks. It is home to the Ice Fairies, Frost Elves, and Snow Beasts (I'm clever at naming things... I know. No judgement.*. Like death mountain, Ice mountain is a volcano, though it is Death Mountain's polar opposite in every way. It erupts ice and snow cold enough to freeze a human or elf to death with just one touch. With their small bodies, Kokiri faries have a hard time staying warm on it's constant below zero temperatures.
    Characters For This Area:
    Frost Elves-
    Ice Faries-
    Snow Beasts-

    Additional Characters:
    Demon Lord:
    Minions of Demon Lord:
    Other: (Use your imagination)

    Races:
Humans: Just like you and me. Humans are high spirited, hard working, people. They are a young race identified by their rounded ears and appearences that are much more distinct from each other in skin/hair/eye color, body shape, etc... than some of the other races. The Humans strengths include Strength of Heart, Loyalty to Loved Ones, Physical Strength (for their size), and High energy.

Elves: Elves are very spiritual beings, said to be the closest race to the goddesses and the old ways of Hyrule. They have a high understanding of nature and magic. Elves are identified by their tall, slender bodies, slanted eyes, and garb of the forest (though elven students at the school sometimes dress more modernly during the school year). Elves strengths are their magical ability, wisdom beyond their years passed down through generations, quick/light/silent movement, and rational thinking. Their weaknesses are often found within. Elves are prideful and a bit naive to the world outside their forest.

Faries: Faries are playful, increadibly wise, and thoughtful creatures. Faries never fight and live deep in the forest with the elves. They are one with nature and are highly interested in music and fun. They are often distracting and have short attention spans. Fairies are usually about as tall as your pointer finger, though high level faries can manipulate their size to as tall as 5''. They are increadibly slender. Faries strengths are their ability to manipulate their size and that of the things around them, their high spirits, and deep understanding of the world around them. Their weaknesses are their short attention span and small size and limited strength. They are beautiful and enchanting beings by nature.

Gorons: Large, rock like beings. They have imense amounts of physical strength and seem to be made out of rock and flesh. They can be agressive at times. But they are very smart and reasonable as well. Often, if you can overpower a goron, they will consider you a 'brother' to their clan.

    *New*
The Sheikah - These are an ancient and somewhat obscure people that operate out of Kakariko Village. Physically, they are not much different from the typical Hylian races. They are distinguished physically by their darker skin, pure white hair and red eyes. As a culture, they value strong tradition, loyalty and honor above all. They're a race of warriors beyond all else, and are skills fighters and tacticians, as well as excellent spies and assassins, with a decent pool of magical abilities as well. Their warrior status as caused them to develop a prolonged lifespan and a longevity of their prime of youth, which maintains until their last years of life. It's believed that they first came around during the early days of Hyrule's unification, faithfully serving the leader that would unite the kingdom and become King.
The clan has since been loyal protectors of Hylian Royalty. However, their numbers have dwindled due to taking on high-risk military operations, as well as their tendency only bear children with other Sheikah in order to maintain their clan purity and protect their secrets. They are currently a group of roughly twenty-five warriors operating out of the Skulltulla House under the command of Lord Kikaro Eizo.

Gerudo: The Gerudo people are a cross between humans and elves. They are tall and identified by their tanned skin, bright golden eyes, and firey red hair. Gerudo people are tricksters and manipulators. Gerudo students at the school are often not trusted by their peers because of their tendancy to steal their classmates things without ever being seen and they are very good at covering their own tracks. Gerudo are naturally good criminals and theives. Their strengths are their stealth, light weight, wisdom, and friendship with the dragons. Their weaknesses are their seseptability to dark forces. (The Dark King was once a Gerudo himself and back in the ancient times, the Gerudo tribe were his people and followers. Wether or not they will be again has yet to be seen.)

    *New*
DRAGONS: Like Elves to Fairies, Avions and Loftwings, and Ice Faries and Frost Elves, There are some (not nessisarily all) gerudo children that develop a special connection with young dragons that lasts through their lifetimes. This is a connection deeper than pet to master. When these two young creatures meet, they meet an extension of themselves. (If you've read the Inheritance Series by Christopher Paolini, its very similar to the connection of Dragon to Rider.) This tradition started thousands of years ago, only a few short years after the apocaliptic war between the Demon Lord and Hyrule. Once the Demon Lord was defeated, the beings of the desert were banished from Hyrule and all communication and trade with the desert was forbidden. The Gerudo Tribe, The Dragons, and the Drakul Tribe (Seen Below) of the scortching sands all became savage and a three-way war began. Though the Gerudo were strong, the Drakul had the advantage of the night and the unimaginable power it brought them. The Gerudo were becoming extinct by the war and they new they needed a power to match themselves with the Drakul, or die out completely. The tribe was kingless so the former Dark Lord and king's successor, Zabrina, knowing something drastic must be done, sought out to create a peace treaty with the dragons to save herself and her people. To prove her senserity to the mighty beasts, Zabrina began a pilgramage alone across the desert, vowing to not eat, rest, or use magic, until she knew that her people were safe. Zabrina was gone for 4 months. As the sun set at the beginning of the fifth month, time seemed to freeze as the sky was set on fire. The last day of the war between the Gerudo and the Night People had begun and on the horizon could be seen the silouette of what seemed like thousands of glittering dragons of all colors and sizes. As they neared, the Gerudo women cheered as they saw Zabrina among them, riding on the back of a mid-mid sized red dragon that lead the charge. Needless to say, the Gerudo won that battle and the Drakul retreated back to the caves.
After that battle, the dragons and the companionship betwee the Gerudo and the Dragons never died. The treaty made between them was an oath of magic, their people were brothers by oath and by magic. So great was the friendship made, some of the Dragons didn't want to leave the Gerudo tribe. Those three dragons stayed to help protect and govern the Gerudo people. Their names were Houri, Fina, and Din. They were the first dragons to grow a certain bond with gerudo People. Houri (the red dragon mentioned earlier), with Zafrina, and the other two with Zafrina's cousin Abria, and the next king born 50 year's later.
The connection only happens every 50 years or so, most of the time longer than that. When a young gerudo has found their dragon guardian, they are bonded for life even to a point of being able to read each other's emotions and feelings and being able to connect through them. When one dies, the other has the option of deepening the bond by either giving away their own life as well, or giving their life to the other. No one is quite sure what happens after this because no one is sure what became of the 'Ancient Dragons'.
There are currently no Gerudo bonded with a dragon. Though the friendship between the two races continues.

ANCIENT DRAGONS: The three first Gerudo/Dragon connections. All six of them disappeared at the same time, so rumor has it that the 6 still live as three single new lifeforms that are both human and dragon and that they are guarding something deep in the desert. This, of course, is also just a fairytale.

    *New*
THE DRAKUL TRIBE: A Tribe of people who live very similarly to the Gerudo. Jaunt has been made that the Drakul are the living shadow of the Gerudo. Drakul are like Demonic Gerudo. They are fast, strong, wise, and powerful, but they are also a very reserved and unfriendly race obsessed with power, dark power. Even more so than most of the Gerudo trust. They are the desendants of the original desert tribe, whose leader supposidly made a pact of absolute power with the god of all darkness. But he was tricked and all of his people were killed and posessed by the God Kaden's (In honor of my old writing friend Legendseeker), servants. Only few of the original Gerudo tribe survived the attack and retreated into the desert where they once again grew and became strong again. The Drakul are the most evil and terrifying of beings that live in the desert. Though they seem normal by day, they are strongest at night which is the time that they hunt. Drakul survive off of the living flesh of other creatures. (vampirism) By night, it's hard to tell the difference between Drakul and a normal human being. Most of them have dark hair, pale skin, and bright golden eyes. By day, the illusion is removed and Drakul can be seen for what they truly are: walking, rotting corpses with sharp teeth, sunken empty eye sockets, and an endless hunger for power and the lives of others which sustain them. Drakul are still endangered from the war between them and the dragons/gerudo. And they are rarely seen by those who live to tell about it. Drakul never leave the desert and still worship Kaden. Some also worship the Demon King of legand. They are a creepy bunch.

Zoras: Zora people are identified by their silvery white skin, large eyes, and various fish-like features. They are graceous kind people by nature and very giving. They can be a little bit shy at times and prefer life in the dark quiet of their home in Zora's Domain.

Mermaids: Vicious, cold hearted, and territorial. Mermaids are identified by their very physically attractive upper bodies (can be either male or female) and fislike tails that are usually concealed under the water. Mermaids are born killers. Their strengths are their abilities to manipulate the water, and minds of living creatures around them. They have a natural allure to them that draws their prey closer to them. THeir victims often die by drowning. It's almost like they are protecting something deep in the water.

Frost Elves- The Shortest of Frost Elves stand nearly 2 1/2 feet taller than a tall Kokiri Elf (making most Frost Elves around the 7-8 ft mark). They are characterised, though, to have very similar features to an Elf. They have slanted features and have a classic sort of unnatural beauty about them. They have slender, strong bodies. Unlike Kokiri elves, they have long pointed ears that stick out a ways and very pale skin and hair. Their eyes are a very pale blue color and they seem to glow with a strange aura. Most Frost elves are white, blonde, or grey haired. Frost elves are the second strongest race in Hyrule, bested only by Gorons. Frost Elves were created by Kokiri Elves centuries ago through magic and inbreeding. They wanted to create a race strong enough to defeat the Dark Lord but their plan didn't work out too great for the Dark Lord was still too strong for the seemingly invincible Elf Army. The elves fled back to Kokiri but the Demon Lord still saw the created Elves as too large of a threat and sent his armies to destroy all of them. In self defence, the experamental elves fled deeper into the forest than any other elf dared go at the time and they descovered the base of Ice Mountain. They learned that they were one of the only races strong enough to survive the Snowy terrain and so they knew they would be safe there from outside forces. They then decided to make this place their home and as the years and Generations went on, the Elves began to adapt to the hostile environment, their natural body temperatures dropped drastically and they became more resistant to cold, they also gained the ability to control frost elements. Because of this, they later became known as the Frost Elves. Frost Elves are a proud race but because they were created by magic, they are also obsessed with it. Frost Elves live in a city made of Ice hidden somewhere within the mountain. Frost Elves normally keep to themselves, this will be the first year ever that Frost Elf children have been invited to attend Castle Town High School.

Ice Faries- Ice Faries have pale bodies, and glowing white eyes and hair. They have larger, tougher wings than Kokiri faries do that appear to be made of a glittering diamond material. Their wings heat themselves through friction of movement which helps the fairy stay warm, though they dont need much warmth. Ice faries can fly quicly but not quite as fast as a Kokiri Fairy though they do have an advantage of Numbers. Ice faries are savage, power-hungry creatures. They are hunters that travel in packs because, Unlike Kokiri faries, they are carnivorous. They can smell meat and blood from miles away and will attack, especially if provoked. If hungry enough, an Ice fairy will eat any form of living flesh, including human or Kokiri. Once Ice Fairy alone is not hard to fight off, a swarm however, can be extremely dangerous. Together, Ice fairies can create illusions to enchant or attract prey. Kokiri faries can often communicate with ice faries, sometimes even reason with them. In spite of their savage, agressive nature, Ice faries are very intelligent and loyal creatures. They stay together for survival.

Snow Beasts- Few have ever seen their true form. A snow beast can take on the form of any othehr living creature, only they appear to be made of living ice. They are dangerous, agressive creatures.

    Plot:
It is the 25th anneversery of the prestegous school, Castle Town High School. It's the beginning of our main character's Senior Year of the school. Some already have their futures mapped out as protectors of Hyrle or moving on to higher education. But Odd things are beginning to happen around Hyrule and this year, even within the school, people are beginning to go missing and a strange darkness seems to be gripping all over Hyrule. Something evil is on it's way. And for some of them, the journy of a lifetime is about to begin. Wake up Hero of Courage, Open your eyes Hero of Wisdom. A storm of Absolute Power is on it's way and you are the only ones who can stop it. You are our only hope!

This RP will begin with the first day at Castle Town High School. I'm not mapping anything out other than that. If you've played any of the Zelda games, what comes next will be pretty self explanitory. The main plot will obviously be the journy of the goddesses chosen heroes and battle between them and the deamon lord. But it doesn't have to be the only plot. That's right, in this RP, I am not only allowing, but I am encouraging side plots. Just be within reason. :)

Ace was raised by the elves and fairies, and had a decent and peaceful childhood. One day, he learned of his heritage as a Gerudo from a group of gossiping fairies, and he grew furious. He assaulted the main household and stole the rare flame of eternity, which he proceeded to consume. This gave him control over fire, to the degree where he can create fire, cover himself in flames, and become shrouded in a cloak of fire, that temporarily makes him intangible. What if I make a Mary Sue character that can survive any murder attempt? After all Mary Sues are supposed to be perfect and unable to be killed.

Oh, and for the lulz, which timeline does this go off of? Ever since they released Skyward Sword they gave an official timeline. Here it is.

    Anyhoo...

    Name: Sol

    Age: 17

    Role: Triforce of Wisdom (Prince)

    Class: Senior

Personality: More of a cautions type of person. Tries to keep a dignified appearance, what with being royalty and whatnot.

    Appearance: [IMG]

    Description:

    Theme: (Optional)

    Weapons: Sword and gun

Abilities: Being the current holder of the Triforce of Wisdom he has quite a lot of magical power. If it is a magic seen in a Zelda game, he can do it. Although instead of magic arrows (Fire, Ice, and Light), he uses them as magic bullets.

Bio: Sol's birth was a surprise. Not that he was born, but that he was born a male and not a female. He is the first Hylian royalty to be born and not be a woman. Which means that his parents, the king and queen, couldn't name him Zelda. Therefore they were at a loss as to what to name him. Fortunately for them, the sun was shining rather brightly through the window into the room as he was born. So they decided to name him after the sun. Not the best method of naming, but hey what can you do when you're expecting your son to be born a daughter like every other princess ever?

As is common with royalty, Sol was taught and taught and taught stuff all royals are supposed to know. And he learned it all. Fencing, marksmanship, maintaining proper appearances, ballroom dancing, history, traditions, etc. As a supplemental to the lessons he was already being taught at the castle, Sol was kinda tossed into Castle Town High School. He gets taken out of class plenty of times for some royal reason or another but he manages to be one of the top students in the class. Whether that is due to the power of the Triforce of Wisdom or not is unknown to him, but his reason is that since he is royalty he has to keep up with other students and not let them surpass him.

One day at the school he happened upon (Or was happened upon) by Josleyn. To Sol she seemed to be lacking a bit of a sense for other people's personal space. And she didn't even care that he was royalty. And the worse part (At least at first)? No matter how many times he escaped from her, even through using ancient and unknown spells such as Farore's Wind, she would always find him. So he just gave up and went with the excuse that he was keeping an eye on her and prevent her from getting into trouble.

    Race/Nationality: Human

Other Information: A good side plot would be finding out what went wrong to cause him to be born a male instead of another female named Zelda (Those of you who've beaten Skyward Sword should know what I'm talking about).

Oh! Would Hope be opposed to me playing the Hero's fairy guardian? Kokori still have those, right? I make a good annoying little floating orb of light!

  7. Lol at this XD

Anyway, I have some pictures that I believe fit the theme of "Modern LoZ," so here they are:

PS. Aw, thought I had more. I probably wont join the RP, just felt like contributing a little.

I was serious about playing the role of a fairy guardian. A good minor character to fuel a possibly interesting relation with another character. What could be better in an RP?

PS - Is Hope even gonna follow through on this one though?

She'd better, and she better not let this die like Arabian...

If she can't, perhaps DW could assume control, with her permission of course.

I'm not sure DW wouldd take on managing this one. He's ready got DoE under his management, and hasn't done very much with it of yet.

Also, Sho, it seems, by Hope's plot for this RP, that your character may have to submit to the forces of evil.

Probably, but Ace isn't really a good guy anyway. So he'd probably pledge allegiance quickly.

Wayward, I don't mind you making a Navi type character. Actually, I was actually going to do the same thing. Some elves do still have what is considered a 'fairy guardian' though not all do. I was going to make Navi be a high level fairy that spends a lot of time with my own character. But To be honest if you are thinking the same way, I'd prefer you made this character. It creates more diversity. :D

Wayward and Taboo Sho, Feeling the love guys. >.<
Though I will admit Arabian ended up being I little bit overrated, I'd like to point out a few things. The last post on that thread was actually a dual post written by me and oath. No one posted after that and Oath said she did nag a few people about making posts and was left without response from any of them. We did try to keep things going. Plus, even if this isnt the case and someone made a post sometime after college started for me and things started getting busy, a roleplay can continue and thrive without it's creator or even the initial main characters. It's called creativity, check out The New Organization. We went through half the RP wondering where the original creator ran off to. Don't give me so much credit. You're all great writers, you don't need me here to hold your hands if you feel like my pace is too slow for you. It takes more than one inactive person to make a good roleplay die... it should at least.

If you don't like the pace of my roleplays, you don't have to join. But a roleplay is only as good as it's writers, not just whoever is 'in charge.'

Now if you ladies are done gossiping, let's see some profiles. I'm hoping to get the IC this weekend if possible. :)

EDIT: I went to check. Destiny was actually the last to post in the RP. Though that fact is kind of irrelivant given the current conversation, I'll take back my original comment. I stand by everything else I said though.

Mine is the Ace in the whole.

Zacax, you need to read the intro post... Otherwise, you'll never be accepted. Trust me.

    Apologies Hope.

Edit- Is my character accepted by the way?

No I have read the first post, i'm not a noob when it comes to being in the RP, despite I'm new here, I know how RPs typically work.

Sorry about the misplace at first, bit of a misreading there on the first post.

Also I took a look at the triforce of wisdom and triforce of courage posts, both seem to balance each other.

Aside from my crappy puns I'm really excited for this idea, it's interesting, and coming from a (novice) writer this is awesome.

    Name:
    Josleyn

    Age:
    18

    Role:
Triforce of Courage, Student, Best friend of Prince Wisdom Triforce Dude.

    Class:
    Senior

    Personality:
Josleyn is strong, optimistic, upbeat, outgoing, and beautiful. She can also be a litle bit stubborn, bossy, and opinionated but nobody's perfect. She likes to smile and have fun, especially when she can bring that smile and fun to other people as well. She's an activator in large crowds and loves meeting new people. She can't stand to see someone else in need and do nothing about it. This gets her into sticky situations sometimes because it makes it hard for her to mind her own business. More than anything, she likes to travel. With her fairy guardian back at home she's explored almost every corner of Kokiri Forest (or so she thinks) and she sneaks out a lot after hours to explore Castleton after dark too, sometimes she even travels as far as into Hyrule Feilds. Though it's too dangerous to go to far into the feild at night. Her other favorite thing to do is spend time with her best friend. Though he's the prince of Hyrule, she doesn't really act like he is.

    Appearence:

    Description:
    Hair Color- Blonde
    Eye Color- Blue
    Height- 5'6''
Weight: 85lbs *she's an elf. Their structure is much lighter than Humans for speed and agility. But an elves thin bone structure makes them less durable than that of other races.*
Josleyn is considered very pretty for other race's standards though kind of plain for an elves. She has large slanted eyes and slightly round facial features. She is hardly ever seen not smiling even just a little. Her hair is long and curly and hardly ever tame. She has tanned, clear skin and dresses in casual but trendy clothing.

Theme: River flows in you (Rock version) - YouTube

    Weapons:
Josleyn is talented with a wide variety of weapons because she isn't afraid of mistakes and will give anything a try with full effort. Regardness of this, Her weapon of choice is the long sword. She likes the challenge it creates for her against the longer range weapons that her fellow classmates use in defense classes and something about it's simplicity and elegance seems to just fit her.

    Abilities:
    Physical-
Speed and Grace- Josleyn is light-weight and quick, even for an elf. This is both to her downfall and advantage when against stronger, but slower, races like Gorons or even some Humans. It's an advantage beause she can move at almost three times their speed, but could be a problem because she is more vaunerable to physical damage.

High Energy- She tires very slowly and has high endurance. Being able to run farther, or fight longer, than others can.

    Magical/Spiritual
Elemental- She struggles with fire and air based magics but is extremely talented with water, and especially earth.

Healing- Healing magic is difficult to learn. The spells were crafted years ago to do away with potions. But Josleyn is fair with it. She has to be because of her vaunerability to physical damage. She is also good with small spells that slow the effects of injury.

    Bio:
Josleyn is a young orphan that grew up in Kokiri forest. She doesn't have any memories of her parents, nor do any of the other members of the Kokiri tribe. She was found alone as a child wandering the deep woods and no one would claim her as their own, nor did the little girl seem to recognise anyone as her family. But once she was brought into the Kokiri Village, she was treated like she belonged with the tribe. She lived through her childhood with the Elven traveller who found her in the deep forest, A male named Havoc, and his wife Maev. As she got older, her caretakers had two children of their own. Now at ages 5 and 4, their names are Harold (a boy) and Jos (girl. named after Josleyn.)
In her childhood, Josleyn loved to accompany Havoc in his 'adventures' *as she would call them* she learned a lot about self defense from the traveller/retired knight. Along with ancient Hyrulian traditions as well as beliefs *though she struggles to believe many of them in her teen years... like stories of the Triforce and Goddesses*. On one of these 'adventures', which was really just a trip where Havoc was delivering herbs to the market in Castleton, Josleyn got herself into a lot of trouble by somehow managing to wander her way right into the royal castle without detection. As she was exploring, she ran into a boy her age. The two got into an argument but by the end of the conversation, the young Josleyn decided she liked this young man and stated that they were now friends... before she got caught by the guards and escorted back to a very worried and stressed out Havoc. She never did learn the name of her new friend which saddned her. As she grew older, she began to forget about the encounter. By the time she was 15 she moved out of Havoc's and Maev's home, knowing that the couple would need her space to raise their own. She now lives in her own Tree House at the edge of Kokiri Village near the thick of the forest, where she likes to explore regularly. She has alwas felt a certain closeness with the unknown and sometimes dreams that somewhere deep in the unexplored areas of Kokiri Forest, or maybe even of Hyrule itself, is the secret to her past and where she truly came from. She hopes maybe someday she can even learn the identities of her real parents. These are all just passing thoughts though.
On her first day attending Castle Town High School, she met Prince Sol... who she befriended quickly after she recognised him as the boy she met at Castleton in her childhood, though she didn't learn that he was royalty until later. The two have been good friends ever since then.
Josleyn never lost her curious nature and is often caught wandering in restricted areas of the school or outside after hours. She gets herself into trouble once in a while with the teachers at the school over it but she's usually pretty good at talking herself out of bad situations. Her lifes dream is to explore all of Hyrule or even somewhere beyond that, or to learn the truth about her past before she was found by Havoc. Her only clue to the past is the forest where she was found.
Unless upset, Josleyn is hardly ever found alone. At home she's always playing with the children, training or helping with Havoc and Maev, or with her fairy guardian. This is the same at the school only she's either with Sol or or Fairy Guardian.

    Race/Nationality:
    Kokirian Elf

Zacax, I believe Wayward wanted to make a fairy guardian type character for Josleyn. THough I don't see a problem with your character being a guardian character to the Wisdom Triforce hero except that technically in this particular RP, no one believes in the Triforce or the Deamon. It's just a fairy tale in everyones opinions. Unless your character is somehow a member of the royal family in charge of the prince himself. For example: Teacher, advisor, body guard, servant, or friend. I could think of other options but those are just a few that popped into my head. All but teacher could still allow your character to still be young and a student at the school. For example, If you chose body guard then your character could be the same age as the prince but of a more powerful race such as Goron or Elf that is wise and powerful beyond their years. Etc...
