Name: Kaia

Age: 28

Gender: Female

Weapon: Uses a set of light enhanced knitting needles.

Personality: Cheery and optimisitic as ever. All she looks for in life is a bit of fun.

Appearence: Ash blonde hair that is long on all sides, but has short, straightened bangs. The front ends of her sides hang in front of her shoulders, while the back half of her hair is normally kept behind her shoulders. Sometimes she actually pins the back half into a looped bun, and the hanging front parts into loops. Kaia's eyes are a dark blue, but have a kind quality to them. Whenever she sews, she wears half-moon spectacles. Her face definitely still has a youthful prettiness, but she borders on ladylike beauty - not overly attractive, but certainly above average.

As for her figure and wardrobe, her hips are a bit wider than what one would consider "boyish", and her bust is around the C-range. Since she makes all her clothes from scratch, her skill is apparent in some unique clothing. Her normal outfit is something Renaissance bard-inspired, but not even close to being as poofy.

Bio: She's just one of the many whose worlds had been destroyed in the past adventures of Vanquish. But, that didn't stop her from striving to accomplish her dream. Now, she owns a toy store on Destiny Islands. After a short stint as one of the Heroes of Light, she returned to a renewed Traverse Town and lived there a short while. She eventually took on custody of a young Miha and headed back to Destiny Islands, where she lives today. Kaia keeps good company with the others.

Abilities: Can use all first level magiks, as well as using the "Pearl" magik.
With her "Runner-up" heart and her enchanted needles, she has also been developing a new form of defense for herself, just in case the Dark Order or some other terror decided to return.
Weave: Kaia tosses her needles in the air and they form a mesh net of light. Doesn't protect from light based attacks, but is pretty useful against other things.
Stitch: One needle becomes long and slightly sharp-edged, like a rapier, and Kaia uses it like a fencing. . . rapier.
Mend: A technique that works like Cura, but requires physical contact.
Puncture: Allows Kaia to send out sharp needles of light from her needles.
Alter: Possibly the most fun technique! By inserting her needle into a stuffed animal, it allows her to turn that animal into something real! And potentially huge, like a stuffed bear into a real bear!

Name: Miha Tahla
Age: 14
Personality: Submissive Moralistic (Cheerleader/Fangirl)
Appearance: Ash-Blonde hair that reaches just past her shoulders, with black tips. Green-brown eyes that show her eagerness, with a delicately shaped henna spiraling off of one or both eyes depending on how she feels. This never goes past her jaw or the side of her face, however. She is quite muscular, but she hides it under her clothes for purposes of beauty – or at least, her ideas of it. She's more or less average height, standing at about 5' 4". She tends to wear a top with Victorian styling and short sleeves over a long sleeved shirt with stripes going down the arm, and a flowy, knee-length skirt that matches the top's colors with tights underneath. Miha usually wears one or two earrings on both ears, mainly keeping to a celestially-themed style, and tight-fitting silver bangles on her wrists.

Psychology: From her loss and lack of familial relationships growing up, Miha has a strong dependency on others and tries to make emotional attachments as quickly as possible. She dresses in a way that she thinks will garner positive attention, and less jealousy of her powerful body for this purpose. While this does make her more sociable, it also makes her come off as a bit clingy at times. She tries to maintain a positive disposition as much as possible in order to continue this trend of trying to make attachments as quickly as possible. She's not certain what she likes in terms of gender, but is liable to be attracted to the more dominant sort of person (Because dominance expresses confidence expresses security expresses permanence) Ambiamorous and intergamous. Because of her attraction to dominance, this may pull her towards the wrong people very quickly.

Talents: Henna, Haggling, and certain types of housework including sewing.
Hobbies: Doodles for henna designs, stargazing, and bargain hunting.
Mannerisms: Doodling things in the air with her index finger absent-mindedly.

Bio: Her story's beginnings are typical ones for Traverse Town. As a baby, she was once one of the only survivors from a world that was consumed, and her father was the only one who made it with her. Her parents were an older couple, so her father was already fairly aged by the time they had arrived in the place. Being a refugee in a refugee-fueled town, they fell right into place with all the others, getting housing in one of the newer buildings in the ramshackle city. Without her own mother to look up to, she was forced to turn to another figure in town (Depending on setting, is either Kaia, Beatrice, or third-party) for guidance. Her father, who had spent very little time with Kaia because he worked hard to support the two of them, passed away from illness when she was 13, during that awkward time of life when the body and mind matures. She was forced to take up residence with Kaia and chose to earn her keep by doing various things, which included henna (she grew a knack for it over years of experimenting with doodles), maid services, and doing the shopping for (role model). She exercised heavily during this period to stay in peak condition, so she wouldn't succumb to illness or any of the other troubles like so many had around her previously. Which brings us to the present day.

Magic: With no formal training in magic, Miha bears only two magics in her repertoire, Fire and Stop. However, she possesses a natural ability to halt her own spells in place and remove their effects for a moment or two, then release them again. She has come to call this technique, "Pulse" for that reason. The uses are limited, mainly to hold a miscast in place until the time is necessary to fire again. The Stop she generally casts on herself in combat, in order to halt a pattern of motion that may result in her own injury, and so on.

Name: Aimi
Age: 17
Personality: Aimi has a very bright upbeat personality. Her personality she gets from her father, she gets her brains from her mother though being very intelligent in school and other things her parents frown about. Aimi loves her friends and will stand up for them in any given circumstance.
Bio: Aimi her entire life has lived on Destiny Island, however her parents don't plan on her always living there. Aimi lives in the shadows of her half siblings who have become Disney knights traveling the world. They don't come home too often, but she still has to try living up to them and her parents both also being disney knights and light knights at her age.

Her parents since the time Aimi could swing a toy sword have been training her to one day move off Destiny Islands. Aimi has other plans though. She wants to travel the worlds, yes, but she wants to do it on her own maybe with her friends, specifically her best friend Cade. She wants to travel the worlds making many friends, many she'd be glad to help if they need the help. As for actually becoming a Disney Knight traveling the worlds that are in battle with darkness or danger, she doesn't want to do that.

Due to that she'll often get into arguments with her parents, but she still listens to them going through training to be a knight. Everyday she's forced to spend three hours training then she spends another three hours studying, during studying she'll usually run off to spend time with her best friend Cade if he's not doing work for his own parents, particularly his father.

Name: Jack

Age: 16

Personality: Jack is the adventurous type. His mindset is clearly set on the "Journey" aspect of life over the "Destination" aspect. He is the type to try and live his life to the fullest and focus on the good.

Bio: Jack is definitely his father's son. He grew up, traveling between worlds with his parents. When he became old enough, they took him with them on their explorations.

Living on his own now, Jack still travels between worlds and adventures. Throughout his travels Jack has become somewhat of a treasure hunter. In order to keep all his treasures neat and orderly, Jack put them in cards that he keeps with him at all times. Since most of his treasures are weapons, Jack uses the cards to fight. Basically he grabs one, summons whatever is in the card, and fights with it.

Cards:

Sword 1 - This swords is a two handed blade that is just about as long as Jack is tall. Not only that, but it is incredibly sharp and able to cut through most objects. The best way to describe the blade would be that it is a wind sword. Jack is able to use it to release single, strong bursts of wind that can knock people down and keep them pinned to the ground. He is also able to swing the blade at somebody and cut what is behind them without actually injuring the person. The weapon can be used for 5 minutes.

Sword 2 & Shield - These two weapons are a set, and as such they are put in a single card. The sword in this card is much smaller than Jack's other sword and obviously light enough to hold in one hand. If the first sword is described as a wind sword, this sword is a speed sword. Jack's body becomes lighter and he can move much faster. A single swing of the blade is the same as four swings of a regular blade. The difference is that each cut from this sword is much less damaging than a regular sword. The shield of this pair is Jack's greatest defense. It can block most attacks and if needed be and create a larger barrier in front of him. The weapons can be used for 10 minutes.

Gun - This gun has the appearance of a revolver, and as such has six shots before needing to be reloaded. It doesn't have any actual bullets, instead Jack has to think of what types of bullets he needs and then expends magic for the bullets to load. He can do regular bullets, fire bullets, ice bullets, thunder bullets, and gravity bullets. He can also fire off multiple bullets at once, giving some variation with the attacks from the gun. Firing all six at once (Completely ignoring the type of each bullet) is used for a massive blast. The weapon can be used for 60 minutes or 120 shots have been fired, whichever comes first.

Cloak - It looks more like a large tattered piece of cloth than a proper cloak. Put it on, and whoever is wearing it is able to become invisible. The cloak can be used for 30 minutes.

Drone - There are four of these put into one card. Basically they are floating cameras, allowing Jack to survey multiple areas at once. Each drone can used for 180 minutes.

Name: Lilly

Age: 8

Personality: Being such a young little girl, and given the events in her life, she has absolutely no idea of the outside world. She was raised to destroy, so that is the only thing she knows how to do. She has a curiosity for "regular" interactions, but always ends up scaring other people away when she tries to learn. She is unable to cope when people run away from her, so she ends up attacking them. Her attacking (When people run away) is mostly a subconscious thing, like she's trying to hard to keep people from running away and ends up hurting them.

Bio: Lilly's world, even in a realm where there was no darkness, wasn't the best of places. It was a place where Raven's light didn't quite reach, so to speak. When she was born, Lilly was experimented on. She wasn't really given a life, instead always being referred to as a weapon. The experiments gave her a massive set of abilities and strengths.

When she was 6, the people who experimented on her (More people than just her parents, but her "parents" can't even properly be called parents) left her alone on a different world to observe what would happen. At first Lilly tried interacting with children she encountered. Due to her awkwardness and lack of interaction with people, she scared the children away. Two weeks later, there wasn't a single life on the world.

Seeing her potential, Lilly's creators sent her to another world and observed the same results. This continued for a little while until Lilly escaped. She killed each and every person who ever experimented on her before leaving her world to wander the lanes in between worlds. She was alone for the remaining year and a half, surviving on what food she could catch on a world before leaving. Lilly eventually found herself in the Underworld.

Abilities:

Flight - She can fly around (Obviously). She is able to fly around unaided between worlds (Because even though there is no more darkness in the realm, the lanes in between are still dangerous without any sort of protection).

Super Strength - Her small size and innocent appearance betrays how strong she is. She can easily lift something as large as a boulder.

Anti magic - She has an anti magic field surrounding her body. It isn't a complete anti magic field that negates all magic inside it. Instead it just weakens the magic inside the field, making magic attacks weaker than they should be.

Transfiguration - She is able to transform parts of her body into other things. Such as blades.

Power absorption - She is able to drain somebody's strength by touching them. She can control how much she absorbs. If she absorbs too much of somebody's strength, they die.

Ability copy - When absorbing somebody's strength, she may also copy any abilities they have (No keyblade copying though). Depending on how much strength is absorbed determines if the ability she copies is copied for a certain amount of time or if it is permanent.

Durability - Her body is strong enough to take some strong attacks, another thing her appearance wouldn't reveal.

Other: She will immediately stop attacking (And if any of her body is transformed it will return to normal) if she receives a strong hit to the back of her head.

Do either of them seem too strong or anything? I wanted to try some different stuff then what I normally do. And admittedly, even if they seem to strong I have a feeling that if I were to try to do something against the main villain (Such as the OHKO spear attack) it would simply be blocked like it was nothing (Which I'm certain has happened to me in an RP before).

 

Jack seems a tad overpowered for his age. I mean, what parent would trust a 16 year old with a cursed spear?

Also, Lilly needs a balancing agent. Kryptonite if you will. I dunno. Do whatever. I en't the boss of you. Maybe a balancing person? Or extreme dizziness? w/e.

 

I would prefer private, but I really could go either way. No big deal, yanno?

I was trying to go for variation. Although thinking of it now, I only focused on weapons and didn't think of other things. Like an invisibility cloak or something. I can come up with other things (Or at the very least take suggestions).

I figured the psychology of an 8 year old with no worldly experience and born to basically destroy would be a balancing agent. Any other ideas?

 

I've got a character that I'm designing that uses dangerous lollipops to fight as a secondary weapon. Seriously. You really could pick anything and throw an enchantment on it.


And as for the kid, what about when she gets mad? Pop goes the weasel? 8 year olds are still prone to anger fits.

 

Got rid of the spear and added a few other things. In fact, the things I added were more non attacking stuff.

Yeah, her getting mad ends with her lashing out at anybody nearby. Aside from that though, I'm having trouble thinking of something to balance her. I have it so if she gets hit in the back of her head she'll immediately stop. But aside from that, I can't really think of much.

 

I would suggest having have a timer on switching out cards or something, just as an added balancer. Like, five minutes.

Also, is Lilly with Vanquish?

 

That's a good idea. I think I'll give them each different times though. After all, a physically weaker weapon like sword 2 shouldn't be forced to have the same amount of time as the stronger sword 1.

Okay, I'll cut it down to my favorites. Is there a specific number you don't want me to exceed?

As she gets older, there is definitely the potential to become OP. That much is obvious. But at the same time, the course of the RP determines how future things would go. A grown up Lilly with a nihilistic personality will use her abilities in a much different way than a grown up Lilly who made connections with people and gained friends.
