How irritating dumb people are. How binding religion is on the growth of our species.

Personally, I don't care. My main thought was "How do you add LGBT relationships in an MMO?" At least, how do you add them without being a player of the game?

Overall, this article means nothing to me. Just one group complaining about the actions of another group. Although there is one part of the article that does bug me.

The writer of the article fails at logic with this statement. Letting a child play a game that is rated T has absolutely nothing to do with good/bad parenting.

Agreed here. I personally think both sides are making to big of a fuss over nothing. I can see why the parents would be mad. But this Article really had no reason to bash them for being upset.

"Im mad cause if my son wanted to, in this game he could make the choice to marry a guy"

He can do that in life. Should she be mad at science? Should she yell at the cells on her skin?

    This is just stupid

This is ridiculous. Stupid conservative idiots wanting to stay to the old ways. We need equality for all. If people want to be gay on their games, let them. It's a freedom of expression. You don't have to be gay in the game if you want.

-_- Equality can only go so far Ventus but anyways, you do not have to be religious in order to support this. I also support what Desert was saying about it is not bad parenting about letting kids playing a teenager game. However, would you ever expect homosexuality within gaming online? I wouldn't. However, the parent should also know the many options and details that may come form the game and they should have checked up on it first. You will see that those who hold back on this will only will just open up a new pathway for letting this reach into other styles of gaming and we do not want this to go farther than what it should. But anyways, there are so many online games that I know of where there were no gay elements within the game that is ONLINE. Are there any gay game players: Most likely but I definitely know that if there were no gay elements in the game but yet the gay game players play the game anyways, why should you go on ahead and add the homosexual detail into the game anyways? Is this article stupid: Nope. I really do not see this pointless really since this can actually start having you start thinking.

Summoner, I disagree. The whole idea of Mass Effect and SWTOR is to do whatever the player wants. You can choose the path you want your character to take. It enhances the story and I think every person on this earth should be able to follow whatever path he or she wants to take. Also there must be an option to turn off all chat from the game. You can't take away anyone's freedom of speech (in story) just because your religion disagrees with it. Many other people think otherwise and their children should have the right to think for themselves.
