The New Dawn

"But we aren't killing them. We are healing them. Making them whole." She sits on a sofa. The cats jump into her lap after setting the food down. They purr as she pets them.

"Yes?" A man asks opening the door. "You voltair right? Sorry but my partner and I are under orders here. Bye." Zack slams Voltair back fifty feet then shuts the door, to an accompaniment of a shield going on.

 

"WTF! Is that how you treat people who are lost?!" Voltair yells. "Clearly, they don't want me in there, but why?" Voltair brings out his keyblade and attacks the sheild, but to no avail.

 

"You want directions?" A familiar voice says from behind him. The man who through him into the ground walks out of the shadows. "Why not fight him for it then." Another man appears. "Hello. I am Marek. Would you care to fight? Or explain why you were crawling up our castle." He calls up a lage scythe.

Appearance: Blond hair with eyes that are green. 5' 10". Wields a sword and scythe.
Also wears a black coat with a white band on his head. He has a scar on his forhead and a cross mark on his right hand.

"I merely wish to test your abilities, not kill you. See if you can get me in a spot were I would surely die."

The other men back up as Marek begins floating. He moves slowly but attacks wikedley fast and hit really hard. "Let me show you what you are really fighting." To undead creatures appear.

 

*Umm, I am not sure what Kushin ni Tesho is*

Voltair uttered "Sonic Rave," and destroyed the two undead soldiers, and then jumped up and started attacking Marek.

*By the way, the sonic rave attack is the same one Sora and Cloud use in KH, in case you were wondering what it looked like.*

"Foolish. The dead can not die twice." At his words the two skeletons reassemble. He slices voltair out of the sky with his scythe. "And that won't work either. Death is faster than even light." He moves towards Voltair.

 

"Dang, he is right. My light isn't that fast," Voltair thought to himself as the skeletons reassembled. "Try this one on for size," Voltair yelled, "Ragnarok." Voltair jumped up again and attacked faster than before. "Impact!" Lasers formed at the tip of Voltair's keyblade and shot out at Marek, exploding on impact.

 

Marek gasped in pain but managed to straighten up. "I sense that you won't get all that much stronger than that. Good thing for you that this was a spar." Marik suddenly shot forward and with ease knocked Voltairs weapon a few feet away. The impact made him drop to his knees. "I have seen enough. You may pass through the door." With that he drops the portal and his scythe vanishes. He helps Voltair to his feet and goes to retrieve his key blade. Zack sidled over. "Your damn good. When I sparred with him I never even touched him. That was an awsome hit to. You oughta be proud. Here." He gives Voltair a Key chain. "Thats "Scythe of Shadows. It gives you low power over the dead."

 

"Thanks," Voltair told him. "By the way, do you guys have a spare bedroom? I have been traveling for many months now and haven't had a good night's sleep in some time," He asked as he was walking through the door.

 

arriving in the castle husky looks around.. "just what is this place?". he wanders around until he appears outside of a room alot of people are around. a man is talking with a girl. the girl calls him "sora". the name husky has been waiting for forever. he immediatley bursts into the room. "yeah, i heard that there was someone named sora in here?, if there is step forward."

 

Nihla looks up, shocked. "Who are you?" She asks, some what afraid. Two elbow blades appear and she looks pretty capable of using them. The cats begin glowing with magic.

"Yes we do. I will have Angelo here show you to a room. You may stay as my guest, as long as you wish. Keep in mind that some areas are off limits to you. Those areas are marked. If you are found in them you will have to leave this place. Angelo, show him to red room. 334." "I get this odd feeling that we are opening a hotel." "All have their purpose, now take him to his room." "Yes, marek." Angelo leads the way to a room that has little in it but a bed, bathroom, and a window looking out at the world.

 

"I have one last question," Voltair said before they left, "Have you met a woman named Amelia?"

 

"Yes, what do you want with her?" Angelo asks. He seems a bit shocked.

 

"Really!?! You have? Why do you ask what I want with her? She is my wife, I have been searching for her ever since our world was eveloped by darkness," Voltair told him.

 

"We shall try arrange a meet. Unfourtanetly she is battling on the front in Halloween town. She has proved very useful, but she is not like you anymore. She has lost all but her heart. She is an Anti-Heartless now. We all have short life spans. Especially ones that were born with older hearts. She may live a few more years, but it is just as likely she will live for a m month. I am different. Elites are born anti's and we have long life spans." Angelo nodded to Voltair. "I will get someone to bring you something to eat. Then we can talk." He leaves.

 

Voltair was deeply saddened by this news. "How could this have happened? I promised her that I would never let something like this happen to us," a single tear fell down his cheek.

 

Angelo returned with a hot meal. He set it down and picked up a cup of tea. "There. Now I can relate the whole thing. We had been fighting Heartless in your world or, what was it? 3 months? Ah well, the point is that your world was under siege. We lost the fight for its keyhole specifically because we had no one with a keyblade. When your world died we tried to get everyone off safely. Unfourtanetley the heartless got to your wife first. Her heart couldn't bear harming others so it destroyed its physical body and became an Anti-Nobody. I am sorry for that. We should have done better." Angelo took a sip of his tea. "When an Anti-Nobody is created we lose our bodies and become what our hearts will us to. We generally look the same as our bodies but sometimes we become different. In her case she stayed with her normal body. There is one way for her to become a person again. She must be willing to become a heartless and in the moment her body is recreated someone with immense power must use their energy to bind her to that form. In time you can find her nobody and merge the two and make her a human. I advice that you find the nobody first." Angelo smiled. "Actually I am stronger than I appear to be. I have enough power in my body to ensure that she remains a human for a few weeks. You should probably get looking for her nobody or convince Marek to assign a team to finding it."

 

"Okay, do you have any idea on where to start?" Voltair asked him. He took a sip of tea. "By the way, what specifically is an anti nobodie?"
