"Are you sure you wish to go through with this, darling?" Ariana's mother was saying as she helped her daughter finish packing her things into a bag and zip it up. Ariana nodded without hesitation "What else would I do mom? I need to learn how to control these powers." she reasoned. Her mother sighed and stepped back "I know you feel like it's important but..."

Ariana stopped and hugged her mom "I wouldn't be leaving if I didn't think it was important. I've never fit in here, you know that. That boy that saved me understood me and he said that there are other people like us. I want to meet them. I want to experience that. And I dont want these powers I have to hurt anyone either."

Ariana's father, a light haired man with allergies to almost everything stepped up then and wrapped his arms around her mother from behind. "You are right Ariana and we support you 100%. Just promise you aren't going to do anything dangerous and be sure to keep in touch with us alright?"

Ariana nodded "I promise." she said just as the alarm went off on her phone. She had schedueled it so that she wouldn't be late. She was supposed to meet one of the professors from Golden Circle Academy at the train station at 5:00. She was instructed to come alone but her parents had already had a chance to meet with the professor and even tour the school... though rules were broken seeing as non magical beings were normally inable to see or enter the castle because of magical protectants. Ariana picked up her bags "I'll call you as soon as I get there ok?" she said as she waved and sped to the door, not wanting to be late.

"What if your phone doesn't-" she heard her mom saying but she didn't want to give her an excuse to keep her. "Love you mom love you dad! Bye!" she called. The door closed behind her and she was on her way. The Station wasn't that far from where Ariana lived which was good because she didn't have a car anyway. She secured her bag over her shoulder and took off.

In Black Tower Academy three girls were in their room unpacking their things. These were the Bellatrix Sisters. As they were the only three Seniors in the school, they were the only students who had a room in the top floor of the housing tower. It was a large room even by normal standards with a main room and then three seprate bedrooms that connected to it. A tall red haired girl walked from the larger gothic doorway in the back of the room, leaving her door open as she walked into the center of the room and jumped over the back of the sofa to sit in the front of it, resting her feet on a table in front of it. "You girls are slow!" she complained "Hurry up and just throw your shit where it goes so we can make plans already!"

She heard giggling to her left and turned to see a very small pale girl with jet black hair gracefully almost float from her room in energetic steps. "Do you always have to be so bossy Liz? Take a chill pill already." she said sitting cross legged on the table next to Liz's feet.

Liz smirked at her sister's comment but said nothing as she turned to the door on her right. "Are you almost done yet Nina!?"

A third girl, average height with straight reddish black hair and bright green eyes (like the two other girl's) came from the door. "Simmer down it takes time to achieve this kind of beauty." she said as she walked and sat next to Liz on the armrest of the sofa.

The smallest girl with black hair spoke up "So gues what girls. I was walking through the freshman corridor today and I heard something interesting." she said with a menacing smile.

"Oh pray tell us what you heard Billie." Nina spoke in a mock uninterested tone.

Billie acted as though she hadn't heard Nina's attitude "Aparently they are getting a new faerie at Golden Circle this year."

This news peeked her two sister's interest. "Fresh meat thats always good news." Liz said with a laugh.

"Oh it's better than that. She's from Earth." Billie snickered.

Liz suddenly got serious "From where? You mean Earth as in 'Magic is extinct was once the heart of the universe', Earth?" she said.

Bella nodded "mhmmm." she said enthusiastically.

Liz stood up "This could be the chance we have been looking for."

A few blocks away from her home, Ariana had not really been paying attention to where she was going and ran headlong into someone. "Oh!" she startled as she fell over backwords.

Looking up, she saw an attractive human teen that she recognised from school. His name was Masen.

"Oh, sorry about that Ari." he said with a laugh, reaching to help her up.

"No no it's alright." Ariana said, smiling sheepishly. "It was my fault."

"You bet it was!" she heard a very abnoxious voice that she knew only too well. She didn't even have to look in the direction of the voice to place it to the girl with the permed brown hair and upturned nose. For reasons that Ariana couldn't fathom, this girl had hated her since kindergarten. She was also Masen's girlfriend.

"Hello Mitzie." she said, trying not to sound completely hateful of the girl as she saw Mitzie step out from behind Masen, taking a hold of his arm.

"Don't you Hello Mitzie me. What are you thinking putting moves on my boyfriend." she demanded.

Ariana raised her hands in mock surrender "I wasn't. I just wasn't watching where I wa-"

"-not watching where you were going again? Please dont tell me you were day dreaming as usual. Jeez you are such a loser. Whats with all the luggage anyway are you leaving today. Everyone says your parents are shipping you off to some delinquant school."

"None of your buisness Mitzie." Ariana said through clenched teeth. She fixed her bag over her shoulder and walked past them. She was going to be late at this rate.

"See you later Ariana. Sorry again I ran into you." Masen said, looking a little bit embarassed about his girlfriend's actions. Ariana waved his apologes off "Don't worry about it. See you guys later." she said politely before setting her sights ahead of her again

Darren awoke from his bed to be instantly greeted by his servant, a 10 year old boy named Andrew. His brown eyes looked dull and he was frowning.
"Good morning Darren. What do you want for breakfast this morning?" Andrew asked.
Darren yawned and ruffled the boy's hair.
"I'll get breakfast myself today. Why do you look so upset?" he asked.
Andrew was embarassed from the prince ruffling his hair. That never happened before. It was out of place.
"I will miss you, sire" Andrew admitted. "I have to look after Harold after you leave..."
Darren's eyes became shellshocked. How would he treat this kid if he left him by himself. He wouldn't want that for Andrew. Darren, in his robes, walked over to a vault and span the handle until it was opened. He reached out and grabbed two handfuls of gold. Andrew's eyes widened as he saw the money.
"You will take this to your father and buy yourself a house. This should last you for a long time. I do not want you to be in danger. You have been faithful to me over the last two years. Get yourself an education too"
    Andrew smiled.
"Thank the gods! Thank you!" Andrew exclaimed. The boy suddenly hugged Darren in gratitude but let go soon afterwards in fear of the crown's disapproval. At first, Darren jokingly looked furious but smiled and hugged him back.
"Now, get yourself out there. Have a good life"
    Andrew nodded.
    "I hope you become King!"
Darren gave a faint smile. "I hope so too"
Andrew ran off. "Bye!!!" he cried out, as he left.

    Darren was alone and sighed.
    "Now, time to get ready"
With a large sack, he began to load clothes into it but then stopped to think. I need to get regular clothes so people do not know who I am...

The Prince clicked his fingers and turned into dust and reappeared in the town square. At that moment, he forgot he was only wearing his robes. He ran to the clothing store, frantically and chucked a bagful of money and the sack towards the clerk.
"Give me all you have and put it in the sack!!!"

Soon after retiring to a public dressing room, he reappeared in modern clothes designed after a world called Earth. It was new and fashionable.

The Prince walked up to the clerk, who filled the entire bag with Earth clothes.
"Thankyou. I like these trousers. What are they called? This is the most comfortable piece of clothing I have worn"
    The clerk grinned.
"They are called jeans, your majesty"

Darren nodded and walked on with his bag of clothes with his sheathed sword. He looked up at the sky and saw an airship flying over the town.
    Right on time
The boy waved at the vehicle and they soon recognized him. The ship landed beside him and opened up a platform.
"Hop in" the driver told him. "You're heading to Tri-Tower Academy?"
    "That's the one" he replied.

Ren summons his bag. Ren packs all the important things. His wand, some food, and more.
Ren also changed his clothes. It is described as a black robe with a moving dragon sign traveling in his robe?
The Yonagami's family pet, Cryu, an Argandiumian Dragon, crossed near Ren.
"Stay here boy. Behave yourself, okay?" Ren ordered Cryu. Outside, he saw an airship which could be a bus for Tri-Tower Academy. Ren came in. "...I should check out Silver Academy first."
Ren reads his book. After a few minutes, it was departure in the bus for Silver Academy students.
Ren goes outside and sees airships, fountains and the school, of course. Ren goes inside.

"Are you sure you have everything?"

"Do not worry, Mother! I made sure two days in advance that everything was in my sack."

Jila Za'Akmha stood on the edge of a platform, attatched to the side of a massive tree some distance above ground-level. His mother stood a little further away, near an arched construct with what appeared to be a small vat of a greenish goop attatched to the outside of the archway.

"Then let us begin." His mother said, placing one hand in the vat. The arch came to life, spinning a portal inwards towards the center until complete, a transparent image of the destination flickering into place.

"Good-bye, Mother!" Jila cried, dashing through the portal. He emerged on the other side in the town near the Golden Circle, carrying the sack full of his possessions over a shoulder while in his more tribal-looking robes. Normally he would wear something a little more 'normal' by the standards of the school, but he didn't feel like it. It was a good day to be a bio-mage, or so he felt.

"Daddy, hurry up. Summer vacation is over. I gotta go now." A blue haired fairy yelled throughout a large meeting hall. She turned to a woman standing next to her. "Mom, he's doing this on purpose."

"Your father said he was getting something, right?"

"What is there to get? Everything was already sent to the academy in advance."

A man walked into the hall. He was carrying two wrapped things with him as he approached the two women. "Some parting gifts Karina." The man answered. When he reached the pair, he handed to two gifts to the younger woman. "Come on, open them up."

Karina obeyed, quickly tearing up the wrapping paper. The first gift was a very finely crafted bow. The second was a harp.

"Do you like them? I had the finest bow made for you. And I recall you complaining in some letters that you didn't have a harp you could carry with you and play when you felt like."

Karina's eyes lightened up as she looked at the gifts. "Thank you daddy." She smiled and hugged him. The trio soon began walking outside of the hall. They walked across a bridge, the castle they were in behind them. At the other end of the bridge was a large dome. In the center of the dome was a platform. Karina stepped onto it and looked back at her parents, who stayed at the entrance. "Good bye for now. I'll be sure to write soon. Love you." Magical energy swirled around her as Karina was sent off to the Golden Circle Academy.

    -----

A young man was lying awake on a bed. He had a letter in his hand and he was reading it. This person was one of the few students who did not return home during the vacation. He did not return home because it was arranged for him to stay at the Silver Fountain Academy. His home was fairly dangerous, so his parents and the academy administration had decided that it would be better for him to remain at the academy. He didn't mind it too much. An arrangement had been set up so all his tuition and living expenses had been paid for. And staying at the academy during the vacation gave him time to keep his skills sharp, something not every student would do during vacation.

A bell echoed across the academy. The man sat up and set the letter on a small nightstand beside his bed. "Looks like everybody's come back already. Might as well see the new kids that arrive." He walked out of his room and headed towards where the students would be arriving from.

A few days later, Darren stepped out of a ship and yawned. He hadn't slept for days. He will never get used to the swaying of an airship in space. He was terribly excited but also was uncomfortable.
    "Have a good time, Prince!"
Darren's heart felt like it rose up his own throat as the driver said who he was. He did not want to let everyone know he was a Prince. Thank god no one was around. It was early in the morning. Which greeted him was a large hall with a high ceiling. There were three doors. On the left was black and was for The Black Tower Academy. In the middle was a yellow door for Golden Circle. On the right, was a white door for Silver Fountain Academy.
Darren went forwards and opened the shiny gold door to reveal an empty hallway. It was silence for a little while after the door softly hit its hinges until he heard oil bubble and fizz. Breakfast? His stomach suddenly rumbled.
    I am pretty hungry...

A girl with silver hair, her hair blowing in the breeze. Many children were coming back to the school for the first day. She however was unpacked, she always was unpacked. She lived at Silver Fountain school with her mother's old love interest and the closest thing to a father since her mother's death.

"Luna, what are you doing out here?" She turned around to see her father like figure, Marty as she called him in private, Proffesor DePhillis around anybody else. She noticed students showing up.

"Nothing Proffessor, just thinking." She told him. He nodded his head and laid a hand on her shoulder and she looked up at him.

"Don't think too much. Why don't you go up and introduce yourself to the new students, show them around." Marty suggested to her. She nodded and watched as he left.

"I mean it, Luna, don't stick to yourself that much." He said before leaving.

She arrived into the entrance hall where several students were entering and conversating. She looked around and caught the eyes of a young man, before he would look at her, she looked away. He was a Hero who went by Leo, nobody knew his real name.

Marty has told her before that the two of them are almost alike that she should get to know him but she knew nobody was like her, nobody has never had a brush with true evil who killed their only family and wanted you to be evil.

Jila's journey to the academy was rather short, given that the portal network was set up just outside the walls of the massive school. Which, given his current adjustments, was a great plus for him seeing as he wasn't quite built for going long distances at that time. His path led him straight into the heart of the place, just after the junction between the three schools, where he crossed paths with a new student.

"Good morrow." He greeted, waving to the boy Darren. His eyes pulsed in different colors every moment, from gold to green to red, as he spoke. "I assume you are one of my new classmates, here?"

"Dreven. Dreven dear are you ready". Dreven ignored the question from his mother who he could hear walking up the steps to his tower room followed by her constant on call maid. "Dreven don't ignore me" She said as she walked into the room. Dreven responded with a grunt and continued looking over the crystal necklace he had been given two years ago when he first started in Black Tower Academy. "I can't believe your still in your second year." His mother said the disgust apparent in her voice. "Your father and I graduated every year and now here we are. Rulers of a world and two of the most powerful witches and warlocks in the worlds." Dreven once again said nothing. He knew that his parents weren't powerful, In fact he had become more powerful than them in his first year. And the only reason his family ruled the world which he lives on is because he had set up a network of people to keep his family in power. Dreven smiled to himself, and when I say smile I mean the corner of his mouth moved very slightly as he thought of the reaction he would get if his parents found out that the only reason they hadn't been overthrown was because of the influence there son held with the nobles of the kingdom. "Why couldn't my child be like 'The Trix'. You know who they are don't you?. Now there's some daughters a mother could be proud off." Dreven noticed the use of there nickname as if she knew them. Of course he knew who they were. He had been going to school with them for two years now. This being his third. Elizabeth, Nina and Billie. He knew what they were capable of. I wonder what twisted plots they have planned for this year Dreven thought to himself. He put the necklace on and tucked it in under his shirt, lifted his bag onto his shoulder and began to leave. "Don't you even think of leaving again without saying goodbye" his mother called as she hurried after him down the stone steps. Her shoes making a terrible echo with each step she took. Once Dreven his mother and her maid had reached the entrance to the castle Dreven paused and let his mother kiss his cheek and wish him luck with his up coming year. The entire ritual was a charade. She couldn't care less about him. But of course she had to fulfil her ego by pretending to be a caring mother. "Try not to embarrass your father or I" His mother said and began walking away. And there it is Dreven thought as he watched her leave and once again his lip twitched. Then he noticed his mothers maid still standing there and he genuinely smiled. "You could get in trouble for staying here" Dreven said looking at her. She lifted her head and looked him in the eyes. "It would be worth it" she said and she moved to kiss him, not on the cheek but on the lips. He returned her kiss and hugged her with his arm that wasn't carrying his bag. "Be sure to write" She said as he released her. "I always do" He said smiling. He watched her run after his mother and stood there for awhile thinking of her. Then his smile vanished and was replaced with a more a grin. "Time for another year" He said aloud as he walked towards the portal that would take him to the entrance of the school.

Darren bowed. It was a custom to bow to elders back home. However, he was the one who was bowed towards. If he had to keep his identity from being revealed, Darren had to act like a regular person.
"I am a newcomer. Who are you, sir? What do you teach?"
He was itching to look around the hallways but he was trying to keep eye contact with the teacher. It annoyed him slightly but he had to be courteous . He had to wait.

As Ariana neared the train station she saw who she was looking for. Professor Griffin, a tall man with long hair, concealing his pointed ears, purple eyes, and very young and fair appearance that at first didn't make sense to Ariana due to the fact that he is really 87 human years old. He was a friendly person and taught the potions class at Golden Circle academy. He was put in charge of ensuring that Ariana reached the school safely and made her way around alright. With him was a new face, someone that Ariana didn't recognize. As she got closer Ariana noticed that the girl had shoulder length black hair and huge bright blue eyes. She had dark skin and a pretty face. Her hair was pinned back on one side with a gold butterfly pin and she wore a pair of genes and a red jacket. The girl seemed to have a superior air about her, not particularly arrogant. She would have been considered very pretty by Earth's standards had it not been for the fact that there was a slight bulge on underneath the back of her jacket. It almost appeared to be a deformity of her shoulders or a hunch back but, Ariana assumed that she was really attempting to hide a pair of wings under that jacket. Her assumptions were proved correct as she neared the two and Professor Griffin spoke.

"Ah Miss Mason right on time." he said fondly waving a hand to her. "Ariana, I would like to introduce you to miss Vasaula Alura. She will be in your class this coming year and also will be one of your room mates. She has graciously agreed to help help you find your way and fit in our school." he said

Ariana smiled "Nice to meet you Vasaula *(Vas-ALL-uh)." she said politely with a wave. The girl smiled as well and waved but said nothing.

Professor Griffin clapped his hands together as yet another train took off. "Shall we be off then ladies? It wouldn't do good for us to be late for the first day of the semester." he said before walking off. Ariana followed him and Vasaula but was surprised to see that they were walking not toward one of the trains but to a closet. To avoid being embarrassed she made no comment about how strange this action was.

The trio entered the closet and closed the door and were left in blackness in the tiny closet. Professor Griffin produced an object much like a photograph from his pocket and placed it face up on the ground under their feet. The picture grew in size to almost the size of a pizza box. Then stepped onto the photograph. Ariana gasped as the elf man disappeared before her eyes. At her astonishment she heard a musical sound very similar to laughter. At first she was confused by it but then looked to see that Vasaula was still in the room and smiling. Had that noise come from her? She didn't have time to ask before the girl stepped over the photograph as well and also vanished. Having a chance to get a view of the photograph she noticed that it was a picture of three doorways. One black, one gold, the other white. Ariana took a deep breath and then stepped over the photograph like she saw her professor and classmate do. Then, everything went black.

"You mean we are going to have a bunch of goodie-two-shoes Golden Circle and Silver Fountain freshman running around this place all night? Ugh! First day nightmare. And I thought last years opening at Golden Circle was a bust." Billie complained as the three sisters read a bulletin announcing the 'opening social' for the three schools would be held at Black Tower this semester.

"Tell me about it." Nina answered, rolling her eyes. "But hey it will be a great time to mess up a few of the newbies." she said. "Or meet a few boys." she added with a devilish grin.

Liz only smiled as she heard footsteps around the corner belonging to the schools headmaster.

"Bellatrix girls. It's a little early for you to be wandering the school shouldn't you be downstairs in the commons area getting to know the new students and registering for your new classes for the semester?" Professor Valditor was saying.

The three sisters only laughed. LIz spoke for the group "We have already registered and besides you think those freshman really focus with us around. They are already probably each watching their backs for whatever hex we may or may not have put on their books." she was only half kidding with that statement.

The professor smiled "So it's the social you are interested in then." it wasn't a question "I can't say I'm happy about those other two schools roaming our halls any more than you three but I will not stand for you three embarrassing my school by doing something foolish." she said "Do what you want but if one of those pixies or kids with sticks overpowers you or you get caught in your games I will not stand for it. Am I understood?" she said with a raised eyebrow.

Liz nodded "Crystal Clear." she said with a smirk.

Aside from all the new students, Karina occasionally saw a familiar face. She may not have communicated much with these people, if she communicated with them at all, but she could remember the faces of her fellow classmates. "Some of the new kids seem nice enough. I wonder what they're like." As Karina wandered among the groups, she started feeling a bit of anxiety. She had forgotten what it was like to be crowded by so many people at one time. She could feel her heart beat a little faster. Because the beginning and ending of the school year were the most crowded, and not even a regular day at the academies were this crowded, Karina could feel herself unintentionally avoid people. She would distance herself from them if possible, and remain silent near them.

    -----

Leo looked out among the crowds. "Interesting how they all seem to group up together based on whichever place they're going to. Although I suppose it would be natural, considering this central hub area has the entrances all nicely lined up in a way they could all see where to go. I wonder if any of these students are having any issues right now. Although since the school year is just beginning, I doubt they would. Looks like it'll be a fun year."

After she almost forgot about the class about to start in Silver Academy, she hurried fast. Alice almost slipped on the stairs.
    "Phew~..it always happens." Alice sighed.
"Mom, I'm going to school! I gotta hurry. See you later!" Alice shouted as the door opened. Her hands were freezing. Alice sighed again and she starts running.
Alice walks downtown quickly. Alice saw some airships.
"Silver Fountain Airship. That's it! I'm gonna be.. late." Alice said as she quickly thinks about the class. She goes inside the big airship. Her bag was just in her lap. Alice's hands stop freezing and she showed her wand.
While waiting, Alice describes her wand quietly. Then outside the window, she saw Xenia floating.

After a few minutes, Alice quickly goes down off the Airship.
"...I'm not late. Hello students." Alice said quietly. She greeted the students quietly even when the students didn't mentioned her.

"Hmm, looks magical. Oh well.." Alice sighed and continues walking.

"Hmm.. this is.. the dark library?" Ren sees a few shelves with so many books in it.
"Nevermind." Ren opens the door again and goes outside the library. He saw a girl.

"Excuse me, do you know where the classroom is?" Ren questioned to the girl.
"I don't know.. but I want to see the classroom is.." The girl answered.
"Um, I'm Alice. Alice Kyotoga. You?" Alice greets Ren.
"I'm Ren Akihira. Grandfather's Akihira. Grandmother's Yonagami. You seem looking good today." Ren replied.
"Thanks! What year are you?" Alice said. Alice keeps a watchful eye.
"Well I have been at least a one year here, so I'm 2nd." Ren replied.
    Ren was about to sweat.
"Oh, your sweating.. well we're classmates, er, good to see you." Alice walked away.
Inspiring. Well what time is it? Ren thought.

"Hm? Oh, I'm not a teacher. I'm a third year," The shapeshifter calmly replied, the color in his eyes settling on a nice shade of emerald green. "I've got nothing worth teaching in a classroom, unfortunately. Judging by the fact that I've never seen you, you're a new student, no? You should probably head for the main commons, because there is an assembly soon. I can take you there, if you would like."

"Sure, I need someone to help me around this place. It seems massive."

Jila blinked and the student he was talking to had disappeared. Stranger things have happened, he supposed, but he would be more wary of spirits wandering the halls in the immediate future. He found himself entering the main Commons, where many of his fellow classmates had gathered to meet and get ready for the assembly.

"Hm, so many new students," He mused, his eyes starting up their chromatic roulette once more. "I do hope that they aren't going to be troublemakers like those Bellatrix sisters. . ."

One of his hands started generating fur and claws as he lost himself in thought. Those Sisters caused much havoc the year prior, and he figured it would be at least a little nice to have less of that on campus.
