There are a good handful of Square Enix series that nobody knows about. Has anyone heard of the Parasite Eve series? Or the fact that they produced the first few Fullmetal Alchemist games? Or the PS1 game Vagrant Story? Square Enix has a wealth of sometimes great, sometimes not so great games that nobody has every heard of. It's stunning, actually! Games like Vagrant Story are so epic that they should've been instant classics, but no. They don't get the proper respect or treatment they deserve. Let's all be good pals to Square Enix and spread the word about these games!!!

I have heard of Vagrant Story but I didn't know that they produced the first few Fullmetal Alchemist games. This is really interesting I think I will look into this myself.

The Fullmetal Alchemist games suck ass, but if you REALLY love Fullmetal Alchemist, then they're fine. And the Parasite Eve series is neutral, at best. But... Vagrant Story is just awesome on so many levels! XD

Mainly, check out their PS1 titles. There's several on that system alone. Also, for so reason, people really don't pay attention to the fact that they developed the Chrono series(as in Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross).

I've never played Cross, but I have Trigger on my DS. It's epic.

At the beginning the main character "dies". You travel between two times or dimensions is what it seems like. One where your dead and another i think where your not. Its pretty cool and his weapon is like a dull sided scythe or something.

The Dragon Quest series is fantastic. I don't like the new games but Dragon Quest 8 was perfection. It was great before Nintendo got their mitts on it....

Parasite eve series is awesome, although i haven't played muhc. but i did watch the the movie it was based of off.
it's in japanese with english subtitles, and a little confusing, but its a great older movie none the less.

another unknown Square Enix/Squaresoft game is The Bouncer, it's mostly like a movie, except you fight at the battle scenes. needless to say it sucks.

  15. Supreme Commander is another one. It sucks.
A better game would be The Last Remnant, it reminds me of FF12 :)

Is The Dragon Quest series THAT remarkable? I hardly even see the games in stock at all. There's Hitman. I heard of that game and that is made from Square Enix.

There's so many older titled games by SquareEnix/SquareSoft it is a wonder, there's also a ton of new ones most of which reside in the App store.

One game which is pretty neat how you go about it is Song Sumoner. I haven't bought the full version, but I have lite and will be looking into the full version soon enough. The games revolves a kid who is trying to become one of the greatest "conductors" while looking for his kidnap brother. He leads any army of soldiers created by the songs in your iPod music library!

Really? That's pretty badass right there, I might have to get that xD Don't let The World Ends With You go to dust though, Square Enix made this game as a counterpart to Kingdom Hearts, and now it's IN Kingdom Hearts LOL
