    A joint post is better in a way because people can plan before they post and then write it together. It allows more communication between characters in important parts of the story. It's more organized than disorganized.

    This concept is rather foreign to me. I think this is the only place I've seen it so far. And it seems to dilute the essence of RPing.

    Well, they do it all the time on Star Army, and that's a more high-end RP site. It doesn't dilute the essence if it helps to further a two-character scene much faster and more efficiently than a 12 page conversational monologue. RPing is as much about progressing the story as it is individual character development. Instead of taking 5 paragraphs to describe a character's feelings about a situation to a second character, the same effect can be accomplished through their words and actions in a JP.

    With permission of course, I could always take up control of the character Destiny used for this RP's sake. Doesn't make much sense to go creating/introducing a new character when the role has at least been played a few times.

    You can take that in whatever meaning you would like to. If you think your character would see that at as "stand back but stay close," then go for it. If you think your character would take it as meaning "get the hell out of here," then by all means, have them get the hell out of there.

    Well that goes for everyone that's on that scene. Naturally, a bit of chaos will be bred from this event. I trust that you intend for the masters do evade death by ice somehow though? I mean, it seems a rather poor way for mighty Keybearers to go down.

    OK, so firstly, why double post?

    Secondly, why are you being so pissey? I could easily force you out of the rp, if you're simply going to ruin the fun. You were never meant to be invited in the first place. I can kill off your characters very easily. This is a warning. Annoy me further and I will kill off your characters.

    Thirdly, Moogle and I have a rough draft of what's happening from beginning to end. If we planned the journey completely, it wouldn't be a roleplay would it? It would be someone simply following another person's path. That's no fun.

    Lastly, Sin is still amateur at the role of darkness. She is 18 and inexperienced but she is also unpredictable and very powerful. I will explain how she knows about these "dark souls" as the story progresses. Sin is being outnumbered, so of course she would retreat. She only came for the girl, not anyone in that particular party. However, there is another "dark" person in Destiny Islands yet to be revealed (even though it may be obvious).

    OK, so I think I set things straight now in terms of understanding the story and how concentrated we are towards the story.

    Now enjoy the roleplay and stop taking it so seriously. Thankyou!

    Although admittedly having already planned out the end takes away a bit of the fun as well. Planning out the villain's goal, that's a natural thing to do. But planning out how the final fight goes, that kinda takes away the RPing part.

    It simply seems that mod of the times I try to have a moment, the RP moves ahead, passed that point. And at the same time of seems everyone else has been allowed to have their moments. I was, in fact, hoping to have this be the grounds on which I lay down DeHeian's eventual death, but all that's come thus far has been him getting shoved to the side and then having his presence (by extension, my presence) left unaccounted for. I suppose my "pissy" attitude right now is coming from the fact that I was sort of left out of what happened.
