Family Crest (Actual RP)

Blackheart meant to leave, but he couldn't. he swore. he had fired an arrow! He thought about riding in and killin the two, but decided not to. he fired another arrow that stuck Knuckyles in the leg. lightly. he would be fine, but would now blame the Seraphamics even more. Blackheart pulled something else. a throwing axe with the refense's crest on it. he threw it, and it hit Angeluso in the arm. another minor wound. thinking he had caused enough trouble, blackheart rode away...

 

When Knukyles was struck with the arrow he was infuriated he saw the crest of the Seraphimic and knew he was truly under attack by a group of Seraphimic and Mudonist assassins! But then he saw the throwing axe.

Wait! I ordered no one to follow me, and even if someone disobeyed I didn't tell them the meeting place and made sure no one was following me! and apart from that, My family doesn't use axes! None of us are even trained in that art!

"What is happening!?! Angeluso, stop this nonsense fight! something is going on here!"

 

Will laughed as the servants circled him and he twirled the sword in front of him. He watched one of the servants go behind him and he smiled, knowing he was going to strike at his back. When he heard the sword whisk through the air he rolled his shoulder, the sword brushing just past his hair before he spun, kicking the servant back a few feet. Next?" He growled, temper growing with each second he gripped the sword.

 

Knukyles got out of his fighting stance and put his hands up to show he meant no more harm.

"Angeluso, I fear that either the other families or perhaps another "fifth party" has come into the picture to make us fight one another. Keep your guard up and watch your back. I swear on my honor, that I have brought no other Refenses with me, and I made sure that no other members followed me to this meeting site, And since you were attacked as well I can only assume that you have no hidden assassins with you as well. This has become too dangerous. we must either end these negotiations quickly or we must find a better, more secure, way to meet. I will allow you to make this decision, I trust you will find a solution that will both benifit and protect both parties."

Cheribus flew down to see what his brother Will was up to. upon seeing his actions on the training field, he flew to his side.

"Really, brother. there must be other meathods to vent your frustration. This is no way to treat the servants. What would Angeluso say, were he to see you like this?"

 

Will grinned and said. "He would know I am training and let me be." He then lashed out with the large sword, delivering a blow that would have crippled the servant if he hadn't had armor on. As the soldier flew to the side Will rolled forward and jumped up, slapping the broadside of the massive sword into the servant to his right, lifting the sword back as they started to surround him again.

 

Avalan carefully aimed his pistol at the empty rum bottle. "Okay...one...two...THREE !" he said pulling the trigger the bottle shattering. "Okay...I'm not slipping !" he said walking out of the shooting range into the community. The streets were usually bustling with business and people. Ever since that issue with the assassinations the streets were almost empty, with the exception of someone looking to gamble or sell something. Just taking a walk was pretty risky seeing as pick pockets were on the prowl. "Hope it get's better soon..." Avalan said to himself sighing and fingering a coin or two in his pocket.

 

Blackheart noticed the boy, and recognized him immediately. He punched the boy and threw him into an alleyway. He drew his sword and advanced as his partner came beside him, crossbow ready. "Move and I kill you." said Blackheart.

 

"Fine..." he said becoming completely invisible and backflipping over Blackheart and disarming his partner of his crossbow. "Jokes on you my friends !!!" he said shooting Blackheart's partner in both his legs and arms, jumping back to reload before aiming his pistol at Blackheart's head. "Now...move and I kill you. "

 

Knukyles stopped Angeluso before he could take off.

"Wait, Be safe my friend... all will be lost if either of us were to die. Get back to your family and keep them all safe from this hidden enemy. I will do the same with my own family, that is our duty as the family heads." and with that Knukyles mounted his horse and rode off toward his castle.

Cheribus pulled out his own broadsword which was engulfed in the eternal golden flame.

"Fine then William, If you refuse to stop this onslaught, I shall become your opponent." Cheribus got into his fighting stance and ordered the other servants to back away. He knew that Will could get out of hand when facing a worthy sparring partner, and none was more skilled in the art of the sword then another member of the Seraphimic family.

 

Blackheart laughed. he punched the boy before slicing the pistol in half. he kicked the boy and stabbed his ankle.

 

Will chuckled, letting the large wooden sword fall to the ground as he reached for the massive steel replica of it on his back. As he drew the heavier sword he felt years of training coming back and he flicked it in front of him, blade moving faster than the wooden sword would ever manage. "Come now brother, we all know you are the politician of the family." He growled, slowly starting to circle Cheribus with the massive sword.

 

Cheribus followed Will with his eyes.

"Yes, I may have been gifted with my powers of speech, but you and I both know that I am a formidable opponent with the sword as well, That is after all, why I was chosen to wield this particular blade." He stood at the ready Will would be the one to make the first move, Cheribus was sure of this. Once he countered he would be able to strike quick and without fail. using his brothers weaknesses to his advantage.

 

Will spun the massive blade upwards into an uppercut slice towards his brother, using the slice as a fake and spinning a kick into Cheribus' chest and sending him flying back a few feet. "Come now Cheribus, you know that I was always a better fighter than you. Your only advantage is the fact your sword is smaller. You are faster by mere milliseconds, which I shave each day I practice." He growled, charging his brother with the massive sword spinning beside him.

 

Upon being kicked Cheribus released his wings, using their power to steady himself. he was going to go all out, even if this was just a skirmish.

"Don't underestimate me just yet, Will" with that Cheribus used his full speed to his advantage. he appeared behind Will with his sword he swung at Will's feet, and (with the aid of his wings) he also used his foot to kick at where his head would be. (and if he jumped where his chest would be. Will would be trapped for the sake of taking less damage he would be forced to take the kick, lest he face the wraith of Cheribus' blade.

 

Will grinned, rolling his shoulder and using his massive blade as a shield, Cheribus' sword shooting sparks across the room from the collision. As he dug his feet into the floor he refused to use his wings, rather fighting by sheer skill alone than use his gift as a member of the Seraphimic family. He hated using his wings when he fought, he saw it as an unfair advantage, such like bringing a gun to a swordfight.

 

"hmm, How resourceful of you Will." said Cheribus. "You have your skill...but i have my brains!" Cheribus used his sword to cut a rope to the side of his which triggered his spring trap. It was a simple thing, just a trap which launched many medium sized rocks. Will would be able to easily dodge them, but he would not be ready for Cheribus' attack which was the real trap. Cheribus, once again using his full speed, charged at Will from his flank.

"I told you, don't underestimate me!" mocked Cheribus as he swung at Will's middle.

 

Will let the rocks hit him, leaving light bruises on his back as he held the sword into position, catching Cheribus' blade with the flat edge and shoving it up, getting close to knocking it out of Cheribus' hand. He knew the rocks would leave bruises but it would be nothing to receiving a blow from Cheribus. His sword would leave a wound that would not heal for weeks. "Sorry brother, but one blow from your sword is not what I was planning today!" he barked, using his sword as a battering ram and shoving the flat side into Cheribus hard before spinning and lashing the 6 foot blade out quickly, giving Cheribus the only options of taking a blow or diving backwards, leaving himself open.

 

Cheribus smirked to himself, using a quick burst from his wings to extend his jupm, he flipped over Will's blade and landed behind his brother. With Will suddenly having a huge opening, Cheribus took advantage of it and jammed his elbow into the small of Will's back. Cheribus knew this would hurt him, though no permanent damage would be done. if he was lucky, Will would stagger thus giving Cheribus yet another opening, but Will was more durable that that, so Cheribus prepared to face Will's counter attack.
