    Caught another double feature, w00t

Cowboys & Aliens: I had fun with this one. The plot wasn't deep and there wasn't a whole lot of character development, but it was a cool action movie. Would've been nice to see an expression on Noah Ringer's face besides vague confusion/fear, though. *sigh*

Captain America: I also had fun with this one. Skinny!Chris Evans was a little odd looking, but the effect wasn't as bad as I thought it would be based on the trailer. I enjoyed Tommy Lee Jones, Hugo Weaving was a pretty good villain, and the chick (Peggy?) was a little more badass than the usual love interest, and I liked that. Explosions and ass-kicking, with an interesting story, despite the fact I don't know jack about the Captain America mythology. I still prefer X-Men: First Class, but this was close.

Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension:
I caught this movie in Disney when the time of it's premiere disappeared! It was awesome. I wish it was long..
    SUPER
This movie is gross, but it's funny! Too bad Boltie died when a man blew her face.

Did you catch the scene at the end of the credits?

As for myself, I saw Independence Day today. I think it was an extended version or something, because there were some scenes I don't remember. And my friend who was watching it alongside me thought so as well, because he's seen it so many times he's memorized the movie, but he didn't remember those scenes that were most likely extended.

Yes, I stayed because I remembered reading something on IMDB about all of the Avengers lead ups having a scene at the end. I don't know jack about the Avengers, either, but the movie does look pretty damn cool.

My Girl: Even today, this movie makes me cry. A good coming of age flick.

I finished watching it with my dear mother not too long ago. She had to force me to actually sit down with her to see it because I was convinced that it wasn't going to be any good, but it turns out that I really enjoyed the film. It was funny, cute, and I adored the bull dog. Who would have guessed ?

Blades of Glory: I find this movie way too funny. And I can no longer listen to Aerosmith's "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing" without cracking a smile.

Independence Day (The extended edition): I can't help liking this movie, even when it's sometimes a little cheesy and cliche. I'm not exactly sure what scenes were added here- I think maybe just the opening (?), but eh. I will say that the dvd sucked pretty hard, though. No special features or anything, what's up with that?
