‪London Riots. (The BBC will never replay this. Send it out)‬‏ - YouTube

There is an idiot on YouTube called JeepersMedia and he has placed this on his bulletin. We need to stop this cold and start flagging this video. It is encouraging blacks and other ethnic groups to retaliate when there is nothing going on at all. There is little racial descrimination, at the slightest and the death of this black soul is no reason to start rioting. This man, is trying to get people to rebel and destroy the communities of England with unnecessairy violence. This must stop now.

-___- I am about to make a comment on there because right now, it is making me upset myself. The Youtube members there are being ignorant, rude and are even cursing against each other own color; they even tell each other to go back to their own country and whatnot. First off, why in the world did this even popped up on youtube in the first place? Then they go on and say that all black youths are criminals with all of those comments? I mean really. I am listening to all of this and right now, I am just ignoring everything that the Darcus Howe was saying and whatever that lady was talking.

This is just plain disrespectful and from reading the comments and still seeing more comments flowing in, almost 100% of those youtube members, either black, white, or of some other ethnic race, are just complete dumb and have no knowledge; they speak utter nonsense.

When the government presses down, the people are going to press back.

I dont support the violence however i fully agree that something needs to be done.

Im glad their people are standing up for themselves, here in america, we lay back and watch it on tv.

I agree, if something like this happens the people need to fight back not neccesarily with violence but with words and protest.

I think it was JFK who said something like

Those who make peaceful protest impossible make violent outburst necessary.

Violence is an act that shows you're serious. It has worked before, so why not even now?

I wouldn't start getting worried about youtube videos. People talk big behind the screens, but no actions are usually done. There are haters, trolls, every kind of people there that want to give their word of opinion in there, but no real actions are taken, so it's kinda useless.

I love it though how people express their frustration to certain situations all over the internet.

But yeah, when shit happens, it happens. Riots in London and revolution over at Libya show that citizens are actually able to do something to express their voice loud and clear. Even how shitty it sounds, I'm pretty glad that people actually are using violence as one option to get the world know them.

What kind of generation wants to be famous by starting fights and destroying buildings and the like? That is not how you should end up getting famous Noz in my opinion. There are other ways to do things without violence and it can be done without tearing down walls.

As for youtube videos, some people watch them and end up believing them but they do not bother looking more into it for themselves to see if it is actually true or not.

The revolution in Libya was right. However, the Riots in London were NOT a matter people expressing their opinion. People from Kent, Liverpool, Newcastle, Essex, etc. and some Londoners were using one little protest as an excuse to steal things and burn down buildings. You wouldn't be saying they were good if you actually lived in London. I was walking around the burned down areas the other day and it was horrific. So many buildings, streets and lives were destroyed because of one riot. This is not a matter of people 'expressing their voice loud and clear' This is a matter of sickos ruining lives and giving the country a bad name. I mean no offence, but seriously, all the Riots really did was give England a bad name.

I fully agree with you Luke-look at Libya. The goverment pressed down on them for years and now look what happened.

    Also, Random Trivia:
A friend of mine knew the Man that was killed and is a friend of the Man's Dad. The man's dad actually said to her that he wanted to start a peaceful protest, but the thugs took it out of hand.

    Just about every generation has.

What do you suggest besides violence?

Politics? Majority partys snuff that out.

    Peaceful protest? Not taken seriously.

Just as long as there is a good reason behind the violence. Some riots start for no reason, remember.

What you have to understand is, is that a majority of those people took advantage of the protest and looted. They didn't want to protest for black rights. They wanted an excuse to cause havoc.

Oh i completely understand that. However, it still helps the cause. You think the police will be as careless next time? I certainly dont.

Touché. In the grand scale of things, I suppose everything helps. But if it simply never happened wouldn't life be a lot easier? So a lot of predicted violence isn't as bad as spontaneous violence, but peace, like in Norway, is superior to both.
