FF: Divine Retribution Project

<.> I changed the project's name from last year because one of the members last year thought that I was out to steal his rp that is still in development and the only thing that is the same were the name "Ivalice". Anyways, I am bringing back a roleplay project that I tried to pass, (-.- And failed to even get started) and I still believe that it would be good. -.- I went and forgot almost everything that I originally wanted to do with this project so it will take me a while to remember as I type this. This idea will be based off of Ivalice, the same Ivalice in XII, Revanant Wings and the Tactics series. The project centers around different timelines, different main characters, secrets hidden in Ivalice and the project itself has a lot of titles that I would like to present. Here are great titles that I have came up with myself. Each of these a series that have a different plot but all of this leads up to the finale.Let me know what you think about this.

THIS IS GOING TO BE A LOOOONG POST, so you better read about what each title is about!

The War of the Gods: it will be taken place about centuries prior to XII, before the Espers warred with the Occurias. Ultima, the masterpiece of the scions, started to overhear a plan of the Occurias and ended up growing tainted. Desiring for power and to overthrow the gods, she started to develop a plan but there were two humes who were caught up in the conflict between the two sides. One of Light and the other of darkness.

The Fall of the Mist Bearers: Uh... I forgot. I need to try and remember.

Tragedies of Marlose: Based on the sage, Marlose, who is famous for her discoveries of many monsters. Still, behind her story is one of remorse, secrets and one power that she wished that she did not discover. I have wanted to do a roleplay of her because of XII talking about her in some of the monsters bestiaries.

War of Balfonheim: Taken place after Revanant Wings, since Reddas' death, a lot of the people of Balfonheim tried their best to honor Reddas. Still, some of Reddas' enemies were glad that he were dead and tried to take back the Port of Balfonheim and rebel against Archadia. This started a disputed and mad a three-way war: The Pirateers, Archadia, and The Hand of Reddas. Rikken, Elza and Raz tried their best in Reddas' position to try to lead Balfonheim in the right way but without a governor, they are at a disadvantage. The three went on a mission to settle on an agreement to try to keep Balfonheim as in independent land.

The Survival of the Dark Crystals: Uh... I went and forgot about this one too.

The Search of the Sun Crystal: This one is with the villagers of Giza Plains. Many of the children has always worked their butts off, always been told to never be near the werewolves. However, during one of the kids work of making sunstones, he ended up being chased by one of the werewolves and ended up falling into a ditch. unable to climb his way back up, he started to walk along the path, eventually finding a way back up on land but also found a small ruins on the power of the Sun Crystal, one of the most powerful relic of the gods and can only be found between the Dry and the Rain. He ran back, telling his friends and also Vaan and Penelo to begin the search.

Uh... this post is getting long so I will start the next post with the summary of the other titles.

 

Like I said, I never really played Tactics but with one of the Tactics game, I do believe that it is not hundreds of years later because Vaan and a couple of other characters are a part of the Tactic game (I do believe that it is the first one).

As for the part about canon characters, you have nothing to worry about that. With the War of the Gods, there are two humes that can be in control that is original, Larsa's Lament and Mjyn's Decision, Larsa and Mjyn is the main character but there are other characters that can be completely original, but with the other titles, they are completely characters that we can all make up that are original. We can have characters that are from the games but that is completely optional.
