Looking at Dissidia Characters in the future

It is great news that Yuna is in it and I think I have a prediction about one of the future characters.

Shadow Lord from Final Fantasy XI

Why is that guy my prediction.

Shantoto and Gabranth were respective pairing in Dissidia and with Vaan in 012, the balance is broken. I predict that the Shadow Lord will be in it. Hope Im right.

I also predict and why...

Gilgamesh - The man who wanted Kain in the sequel also wanted Gilgamesh. Chances are 75%
Seymour Guado - With the confirmation of Yuna, the idea of Seymour is more possible. Plus he was considered for the first. Chances are 60%
Seifer - He too was considered for the first. Plus he has a greater chance than the others. Chances are 80%

Bear in mind the % are estimates

Now my greater prediction. With 6 heroes already, I think the rest are going to be villains. Otherwise its going to be unfair on villains. Now assuming that, here are the potentials

Zemus (IV)
Gilgamesh (V)
Seifer (VIII)
Beatrix (IX)
Seymour (X)
Vayne (XII)
Bathandulus (XIII)

 

Haha nah they wouldnt. It'll spark the whole Aeris thing again lol.

 

Ladies and gentlemen, Yuna is 100% confirmed

She used aeons in battle! Even two at a time!!! Shiva, Bahamut and Ixion confirmed

And he EX Burst is Sending where all her Aeons appear. NICE!

EDIT: Just looking at a character table. With Kuja and Jecht being warriors of cosmos this game round, There MUST be a villain for IX and X to be introduced. Im also predicting villains for XI and XIII. And gilgamesh too.

 

Dudes, I think I just worked out which games they're taking characters from next with a few bit of stuff to back up this theory.

I remember an interview that said they'll be 4-10 new characters in the game. We have 6 known already, the last 4 are to come. That's my first thought leading to the theory

My second thought comes from the SNES era thing. Square Enix Still Has SNES And Up Dissidia 012[duodecim] Characters To Reveal // Siliconera Meaning that the last 4 will be from SNES

My final thought is the characters which developers leftout/want.
Gilgamesh from V
Locke from VI
Seifer from VIII (We'll come back to him in a sec)
Seymour from X (We'll come back to him in a sec)
Prishe from XI
this thought led to me to think these folks are more likely to come into a sequel. Due to Yuna being in the game, Seymour is almost confirmed. Making there only 3 slots left. ALthough Seifer also fits this piece, I don't think he'll be in it due to similarity to Squall. But Im straying.

Let's look at the game of games from the SNES era forward

IV -> Kain
V -> None
VI -> None
VII -> Tifa
VIII -> Laguna
IX -> None
X -> Yuna, Seymour(?)
XI -> None
XII -> Vaan
XIII -> Lightning

Now let's take away the games that have new characters

V
VI
IX
XI

Notice it yet? The number of SNES onward games without new characters is equal to the number of potential characters left to be released! This is my theory. These games will have new characters. Now I did a bit of research and I think it'll go like this.

V -> Gilgamesh -> He was wanted by developers
VI -> Locke Cole -> He was left at the design table
IX -> Unknown
XI -> Prishe -> He was left at the design table

Now we return to Seymour. Assuming he's in Dissidia already, we can remove IX from this and this theory starts to make sense. Meaning that these are the characters I think are left to come

Gilgamesh (V)
Locke Cole (VI)
Seymour Guado (X)
Prishe (XI)

Im a bit disappointed there aren't more villains. Shame but I think we can cope with Gilgamesh

Just because this is a theory doesnt make it

Well Bahamut's one of Yuna's summons and he's a summon.

 

This is only a theory but my theory is mainly to point out the games that are most likely to gain a new character.

Locke is the least likely of the lot now Vaan's in it.

 

Half of my theory has been correct!
