I play on Expert too, since I'm so obsessed with the games. lol

My favorite song is TTFAF which i can beat on expert.

I can play every song on expert.

In my opinion the guitar hero controllers are alot my comfortable then the strat that comes with rock band.

I have to disagree with you there, at least in part. I like the strum bar that comes with the Guitar Hero controller, but I'm much more comfortable with the fret buttons on the Rock Band controller. They seem like thier a little smaller, and since I don't have the large hands necessary to play guitar, I like that.

The game is fun, though I'm not very good at it. I've only been playing for about a week. I can pass every song on easy, though it took me a couple tries on the Dragonforce song, and I passed the Slayer one by the skin of my teeth. I'm working on medium, though I haven't played in a couple days. One, my sister's been hogging it. Two I've been on here. And three, we just got rock band, so we're playing that cause she, her fiance, and I can all play together. Personally, I like rock band better. I'm the bass player. Something that was fairly simple up until the southern rock sets.

I will say that the difficulty jump between easy and medium is ridiculous. If they keep pushing up the difficulty level like this, they'll have to be adding extra notes by the time it gets to expert. I've seen songs in medium where all the notes you had to play were most definitely not all in the song. I can't imagine expert will be much more than just hitting buttons and hanging on for dear life, cause the notes no longer match up with the song and listening can't help you keep up anymore.

Am playing through on expert, cant beat One or Raining blood, havn't tried other settings as they bore me.
Rock band hasn't been released in the UK yet :(

Both games are definitely fun. Rock Band is great for the multiplayer aspect. If you like Guitar Hero, you should definitely pick it up when it comes out there.

I'm dreading Raining Blood on medium, let alone expert. Part of my problem is I don't listen to that style of music, so I have trouble following along. As fast as it is, I just can't keep up.

My sister got GH3 for Christmas, and I think I play it more than she does. I'm playing it on medium right now (I started on easy and am working my way up). Am I the only one with a retarded ring finger? You'd think after years of playing violin I'd be able to hit the notes a little better, but my finger stubbornly refuses to hit those blue notes some of the time. <_<

I have my pinky on the blue notes actually, and I have a ton of trouble with it. I didn't need my pinky for French horn, so it doesn't want to work right for me.

You caught my fuck-up. Go you. Yeah, it's my pinky that won't function. Lame.

I prefer the guitar portion of Rock Band actually...does anyone else?

I dunno why, the guitar just feels so much better and responsive on Rock Band. I'm still a quote unquote "n00bz0rs" since I don't own either of them...I can play slower songs on Hard, the orange button tends to trip me up on the faster ones.

I"m with you actually. Though personally, I prefer bass on Rock Band cause when bass lines are awesome, they're just awesome. Plus I'm not that good at it, and bass for the most part is easier. It kinda annoys me that I can't play a solo career on bass. <_<

I think the thing that makes Rock Band better is that the difficulty increase actually seems gradual. Guitar Hero went from easy to you're screwed in one difficulty change.

Rock band is easier than guitar hero games.
My favorite songs from these games is Bark at the moon by Ozzy, The hardest song out of rockband or any guitar hero.

I like doing custom songs, I have about six so far.

My favorite songs are Stricken and Cliffs of Dover. I can get over 500k on Stricken (practiced that like crazy to be so good at it) and over 300k on Cliffs of Dover (practiced a lot on that one too).

    Great songs. :3
