Mysterious Enemy

I've seen a youtube where a person's tried that and it seemed effective. If you want I can provide a link so you can know when are the best and worst opportunities to attack with that strategy.

 

that would help a lot, thnx. o, and btw, if someone's going 2 try that strategy, it helps to have Zero Graviga, its long reach keeps the bar up

 

sorry mistake, that was with the Lingering Spirit; not the Mysterious Enemy. I am now using Thunder Dashes against the Mysterious Enemy but I haven't been successful. I'm only Level 52, I think.

he fucked me over both times with Terra and Ven.
I have beaten him twice with Aqua..
no problem..

well i take his heath down alot at the beginning, when he runs around with fire i ran at him and use thunder surge everytime and when he throws the X slash i hit him again i just die really fast when he uses the blob shooting things kills me everytime.

 

ok, I know how to counter that fullmetal: 1st, DON'T ATTACK HIM WHEN HE USES THAT. When he uses it, he will simply walk around until it's done, but if u hit him, he will attack as normal while the orbs r shooting at u. 2nd, DODGE LIKE CRAZY. there is no way to block them, just constantly slide, roll, or cartwheel in a circle. 3rd, HAVE MANY CURAGAS READY. if 1 shot hits u, heal urself. of course, this will allow another barrage to hit u, but then u just heal again, and again, and again, until all the blobs have fired their shots. hope this helps

I really love how even when you know how to effectively dodge his moves, he's still a difficult opponent.

 

right, defense-wise it doesn't matter how much u level up, and just because u've already beaten him, it's no gaurantee that u'll beat him again

 

That and the mysterious figure has such a ridiculously high attack power, that it would be utterly stupid to walk into that battle without second chance and once more. It's almost as if you're defense doesn't matter in that battle because at some point in the battle you will end up with 1 HP

 

i know i still havent beat him with any character i just got the ultima keyblade for terra and ventus
but when you plan against him all you hear is thwack beeping noise then klang your dead

 

I had to grip my PSP and resist the urge to toss it out of my window a lot of times before I finally managed to overcome this weirdo... >.> Who exactly is this Mysterious Figure anyway? He's wearing something that I can imagine on some Organization guy... But, does anyone have any idea who he might be?

 

No one knows, he doesn't even have a speaking line in or outside of battle. Though, according to an interview with Tetsuya Nomura, the mysterious figure is indeed a canonical character and is expected to appear in a future kingdom hearts title.

 

yeah, he said that his battles against Terra, Aqua, and Ventus are canon, which means that they DO happen.

However, when exactly does it happen? I can only recall that it is only after the Land of Departure gets wrecked by Xehanort, no? That would mean the three only fought it like, say, around the time before they go on to the Keyblade Graveyard for the final battle?

 

yeah, when they fight him is a mystery, but they do fight him at some point

 

Um, I guess if we were to make a timeline out of it, setting it before they head over to the keyblade graveyard sounds like the best place to fit it. I'd bet that Terra was the first one to fight him, then Ventus, and Aqua was the last one to fight him. So, does that mean that the mysterious figuree gets his butt kicked 3 times?

 

Haha. What's this I feel... Pity for that weird guy? Well, considering the hell he gave us... I'm guessing that really makes those three really powerful- Terra, Aqua and Ventus, that is.

 

I have just started playing the game... I am looking forward to meeting the mysterious enemy.
On another thought...
I am right in thinking Axel is Terra's nobody??

I am playing as Terra at the moment and there are clear links to Riku, but Terra reminds me a lot more of Axel.

I hope this is explained in the next game! I am not really buying the Ventus/ Sora brother theory. But in some way:
Terra/ Axel/ Riku
Aqua/Namine/Kairi
Ventus/Roxas/Sora
are all linked. Could it be that somehow that their hearts are connected?
Or that Terra/ Aqua and Ventus... Live on the other side of the Kingdom Hearts door?
