Some of you must have at least one favorite piece that was able to move you? What was that favorite note? Why did it touched? Where there a part of the music that you like? give out as many information as you can.

I'd be quicker to list which songs I didn't like from the soundtrack. ^_^

Off the top of my head, some of the ones I really loved:

*Succession of Witches- has a creepy vibe to it (which is cool).

*Premonition (the theme that plays whenever you battle Edea)- best boss music ever.

*The Man with the Machine Gun (dream world battle music)- catchy music, better than Squall's battle theme. Makes me want to dance a little. XD

*Maybe I'm a Lion (plays during the Ultimecia-junctioned-to Griever fight)- this is just an awesome song.

*The Successor (plays at the end when Edea accepts Ultimecia's powers) - this part of the game makes me cry, and this song is a big part of the reason why. Just beautiful.

I'm sure there's more, but these are the ones I can remember. It's been too long since I last played VIII.

It feels like most of these songs, a person can dance to them in some kind of a foreign way.

Blue Fields: I want to dream whenever I hear this. This song was what made me get into the process of listening other versions of any other game music pieces. Blue Fields always have their violins playing. Still, there's this strage instrument that I can't seem to figure out whenever they play their violin.

Legendary Beast: Sounds like a sorceress-ritual dance. More Latin like to me with the drums. I enjoy it due to it allowing me to picture Ultimecia on the move. Starts after Griever casts his ultimate spell.

Fisherman's Horizon: Well, this also plays at Ellone's hometown, Winhill. I am amazed by this song because it is peaceful but for some reason, I can picture someone's funeral.

Premonition: Darn it! The games need to start adding jukeboxs in the game so that we can listen to our favorite piece whenever we want! Premonition during Edea's reign is terrific. it is like a battle pursuing on an expanding land.

Only A Plank Between One and Perdition: It almost sound like the students are on a mission! Everytime I listen to this, it almost like to me, someone has sound an alarm to show that their base are under attack.

Raid on Dollet: I WAS INFLUENCED BY THIS!!! I had the demo version of Final Fantasy 8 years before I even had the full version. In the demo, I only had played as Squall, Rinoa and Zell but it was worth it. It sounds more like the soldiers are going into stealth mode. DX I WISH THAT PIZZA HUT GO BACK TO SELLING DEMOS!!!

The Mission: It really don't sound like someone is on a mission but as the orchestra start to pick up the pace, it sounds like someone is in a rush against time. I only first heard this when helping Rinoa and I just wanted to just stop there and listen to that song for about fifteen minutes.

Never Look Back: THIS SONG WAS PRICELESS!! Also listened on the demo as I ran away from the robot. This is also during the demo when I accidently had Rinoa trip and fall hee hee hee. To me, it's more like life or death.

    Squall: "DIE!!" "USe limit break"
    XRobot: "Staggers"
Zell: "LET'S GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!" Xrobot reboot and start to chase and catches up.
Selphie: "THIS IS THE EIGHTH TIME!!!" MWAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!
Quistis: "DON'T WORRY HONEY!!!" *Guns it down*
Alternate scene on bridge with Zell: "THIS IS A SAFE PLACE!! LET'S BLOW HIM UP HERE!" *Summons Ifrit* Xrobot gets destroyed.
    Zell posing: "MWAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAA!!"

Shuffle or Boogie: This is so great whenever I play Triple Triad. The snapping of the fingers, the piano going all out, it feels like the 1940's all over again, or was it the 1950's?

I dunno. If you play as much Triple Triad as I did, that song gets old really fast. I ended up muting my TV after a while because I couldn't stand this song anymore.

Are you sure they use this song in Winhill also? I seem to remember Winhill's theme sounding different. But I could be wrong. >_<

I don't care for any of the location themes, really, just because I spend so much time in the towns that I get sick and tired of them.

FFX did that. You had to buy the songs and cutscenes with gil, though.

Besides Final Fantasy X. I mean more games that should have more jukeboxes besides Final Fantasy like Xenosaga, Crash Bandicoot or maybe even Star Ocean.
