The Dominion of Everything

OOC: Ventus? Soul Eater was the sword Riku had. the keyblade was Way to the Dawn

If that's how it's going to be. Kain thought. He guessed that Matthias wasn't going to simply shut this off unless he could counter it. So Kain started thinking about everything Matthias said about the sphere. Alright, if everything he said is true, which I have to assume is, then all that he's done is stuck me in the air through gravity. I've stopped getting closer to that thing meaning he's already got it set up so i won't move closer to either side. Damn... I never encountered anything like this in my travels so this is a first for me. As Kain thought about everything he noticed that his items were also affected and floating in the air off to his side. My clawshots! If I can reach those then I can pull myself back down. But how do I..? I guess I'll just try to move to it.

Kain pocketed his watch since it wouldn't help him in this situation before he tried to grab his clawshots. They were too far though and he couldn't even get close. As Kain kept trying he remembered something from Hyrule. More specifically he remembered going swimming. Not exactly the same but it was weightless to a point. But in the water, if I pushed or moved one way I went the opposite. And if I threw something I would go in the other direction. Maybe the same stuff works here! Kain figured he would only get one chance so he took one more look at the clawshots to see if he lined himself up properly. Then he chucked his sword in the opposite direction as hard as he could. The result was he started to move away, just like he thought. As soon as he got close he grabbed his two clawshots and fired one at his sword. The claw grabbed his blade and began to pull it back to him as he fired the other one at the ground. Once he had his blade in hand and his feet on the ground he smirked. "Well? Is that all you'v got!?"

 

"I'm no drama queen, every word I have said is the truth! You have been limited to the suffering of one reality, but I have seen the suffering of all realities. . ." Malisa half grumbled, attempting to brush away the blade at her neck. "I never asked for this damned keyblade. And if you want sacrifice-"

"That's the difference between you and me." Malisa coldly replied, getting up and making her cloak disappear. "You 'witnessed' it. I FELT it. I FELT EVERY MOMENT OF THE LAST 3 YEARS."

Her body seemed to be armored at first glance, but revealed upon closer inspection was that her body was indeed made of metal. It appeared to be layer upon layer, almost like she was a robot of some sort. The metal extended all the way up to her chin and a little up the back of her head, melding with the flesh with little damage to it. She closed her eyes for a moment and muttered something, triggering some sort of mechanism as her stomach area opened up. The cavity inside contained three hearts, all hooked up to wires. Her lavender eyes paled, but had a burning rage behind them.

"You want sacrifice? I have sacrificed so much to get here. . . So much. . . Just to make everything back the way it was. . ."

Her voice wavered as she said this.

"And Jaden sacrificing himself. . . My brother in that godforsaken planet. . . Countless worlds in the stars and beyond. . . You're telling me you wouldn't want to risk everything to bring them back?"

 

"Then we'll listen to what Angel has to say. We've tried it your way before, but it didn't work out." Raine stated mad and turned to face Angel. She closed her eyes and sighed.

"You're one of the last hope I know of to save the world and bring back Jaden and fix things" Raine stated before opening her bright blue eyes "I'll do whatever needs to be done." Raine told Angel.

 

"Never." Matthias spoke. Their surroundings turned back to normal and the Gravity Well disappeared. Matthias was standing in front of Kain. "At least you aren't an idiot. Maybe... Just maybe you've surpassed your father. But then again, that isn't saying much." With a snap of his fingers, magic bolts formed a dome around Kain. "Up down left right. No matter where you look, you are surrounded. The bolts will fire continually for ten minutes. And they move at such speed that any possible pattern to them is pointless. I believe this will be goodbye for you." With a wave of his hand, the magic bolts began speeding towards Kain. Each time one moved, it was instantly replaced.

 

Kain sheathed his sword and pulled back out his watch. "You're wrong. I have to rely on tricks and trinkets for my skills. My father, I could never surpass my father. But that doesn't mean I can't finish what he started." Kain waited for the bolts to close in on him before vanishing just as they would have struck him. He reappeared moments later a few feet behind Matthias gasping for breath. He vanished again as the bolts neared him before reappering farther away, still gasping for breath. The jumps are getting to be too much. I have to end it. Kain vanished again as the attack reached him. This time he reappeared directly Matthias with his sword drawn and the tip held right to the back of his head. His breath was coming in short ragged bursts as he held his sword to the back of his foe's head. In his other hand, the watch was smoking slightly.

"You... you lose Matthias... this is... the end for you!" He shouted as he stabbed forward with his sword.

 

Matthias jumped up, allowing the blade to pierce his chest instead of his head. He looked down at the blade that was sticking through him. "That's right... The Master Sword... The sword of evil's bane... Although good and evil are just ideas created by man... The creators of that sword imbued their idea of good and evil... That is why it hurts so much... I suppose this would be the one time I ever underestimated the strength of something... But... Next time I won't make the same mistake... The blade shall not harm me anymore..." Matthias walked forward, allowing the sword to come out of his body. Matthias slowly turned around. He fell to his knees, using his sword to support himself. I see that your watch has taken quite the toll on you." Matthais slowly reached out towards Kain, his ghostly aura forming. "Even if I die here, can you leave my dimension?" Matthias was using all of his strength to move his hand towards Kain. "Alone I walk, towards the gates of death. Dullahan, even in death you obey me." Matthias' ghostly aura dissapated right before reaching Kain. Matthias collapsed, dead.

After Matthias' last words, everything around Kain turned into fire. The demon Dullahan appeared in front of Kain. It had a massive flaming axe in its hands. It grinned at Kain. "Welcome to Hell."

 

Angel sighed after the two stopped arguing. She looked at Raine

"Up ahead is magical rune. Here, with the sword Jaden once weild, we can bring Jaden back, because he's not dead, not yet. He resides in the Dominion." Angel explained.

"The Dominion?" Raine asked crossing her arms looking at the girl.

"A place similar to your Kingdom Hearts, except this Kingdom Hearts for the entire universe, the Kingdom Hearts for the creators." Angel explained.

"Ok, so how about will the sword bring Jaden back?" Raine asked.

"Leave that to me, I just need you, the current weilder of the blade to come with me." Angel stated. Raine nodded and looked back at Malisa.



Sora continued to fight the puppetmaster, King Mickey helping as well. It was difficult though, Sora was a puppet to the puppetmaster.

"Dance, Sora, Dance!" The puppetmaster screamed enjoying himself controling the puppet Sora which in turn was sort of controling the real Sora. Sora tried hard to control it.

"I've had enough of your childish games, fight me for real!" Sora yelled getting mad.

"Now, now, now, you don't want me to crush your precious Raine would you?" The puppetmaster teased Sora.

"Leave Raine alone!" Sora yelled. Thats when the puppet exploded. The puppetmaster was thrown back and looked at the giant dark orb where Matthius and Kain were battling.

"Master Matthius, no..." The puppetmaster stated. He quickly became aware of the keyblade master's keyblade in his face. "I...I....I...." The puppetmaster stuttered when he disappeared quickly.

"Your majesty, we need to get Kain out of there and get back to Raine." Sora stated turning back to King Mickey. The king nodded.

 

Damn! Kain thought as he was just running from the demon's attacks. HIs watch worked by the magic of his surroundings, which is the main reason Kain used it against Matthias. However with him gone and a demon attacking, there was no surrounding magic. It was the demon and its hellish abilities, the watch didn't have much in it for anything, much less a jump. Kain had already run past and picked up his clawshots as well as his bow but had to start running again before he could grab arrows or his shield. The demon just kept chasing the Hylian and laughing as it swung its large axe at him.

 

Xohka appeared in Hell carrying two of the corpses he found in Japan. He brought them to lure Dullahan in so they could fight; since Xohka left the Syneptophies there weren't that many opponents to challenge. Xohka set the bodies on with black fire to signal the demon. After several minutes, the monster still had not appeared. "Huh? I guess Matthias set some poor living soul here already," he said to himself. "I hope that bastard dies before he can copy my moves." Xohka created a wind ball that encased electricity so when the demon comes near to do whatever to the bodies, the ball would explode. After making that, he made a portal and stepped into it.

 

Raine froze in place feeling Jaden near her. She couldn't move. Her heart hurt. Her mind screamed Caliber's name. But something wasn't right. She glanced up at the hill to see the puppetmaster, frozen grinning down at her. Raine tried to focus. Her hand glowed and she jumped back. She threw her arms up into the air and brough them at a fast speed infront of her. Her keyblade and Jaden's sword appeared in her hands. But suddenly her keyblade disappeared.

She looked up at Caliber and shook it away quickly. She grabbed onto Jaden's sword with both of her hands.

"Caliber this isn't you!" Raine shouted at him.

"Don't use the darkness!" She shouted at him. Her body glowed in the darkness of the day.

 

Raine saw the sword disappear and her hand extend towards his. She tried to fight it.

'Something's not right!' She yelled in her head. Her hand touched his. The feeling of his hand sent shivers down her spine while another part of her heart enjoyed the touch.

She couldn't control herself anymore. She tried to fight it but couldn't. Her hand in his claw like hand, the other hand on top of his hand that rested on his cheek.

'Someone... anyone...' She thought mentally hoping for some hope. None would be found. Her mind knew the truth, but her heart was blinded by love, a love her mind knew not true. It was her blinded heart, Caliber, and the puppetmaster who had control if anyone.

 

Time flow stopped.

Malisa 'awoke' in her mind. With her body frozen in place, this was a built-in failsafe built in to waive the effects of time altering spells, albeit taking quite some time to start up itself. In the dark recesses, she faced two other beings that resided there: beings that she had taken life from.

"Hello Merlin, Yen Sid." She respectfully greeted, bowing to the two. "I believe we haven't spoken since before I initiated the dimensional portal."

The two elder wizards faced her and said something, but no sound came out. But the sorceress appeared to know exactly what they told her.*

"You're still sore about that? Look, if all goes well, this entire timeline won't exist. Yes, I know you've been watching. Don't scold me, I'm doing the best I can here. Well, maybe if your power wasn't so ridiculous, I would have just erased this entire event already. NO! I am NOT resorting to HIM yet! Never. Not in a million years. The only reason he's around is because that he has just enough power to intiate the sending - now, can you please shut up and let me concentrate on routing this stupid time magic?"

After this one-sided argument had reached its conclusion, Malisa took a seat on the bare ground of the space, a sphere surrounding her. Her conciousness reached outward, outward, until. . .




Raine, can you hear me?





*Just about the end of every one of her following sentences has them responding.

 

With the sword being destroyed Raine felt herself become weak. She felt the kiss on her cheek and the last bit of control over the puppetmaster broke. She felt herself collapse to the ground. She laid on the ground not unconcious. She couldn't move, she was so weak. She looked towards the sword. She was laying the crystal of the sword. Her heart ached with so much pain. Her mind was at ease now. But only for it to become alert again.

She heard what Caliber said. She couldn't move.

"I..." She tried to form a sentence but couldn't. Since Jaden left the first time, Raine became the sword's new master till Jaden would return. It's destruction killed Jaden but also made Raine weak. She couldn't attempt to fight even know she wanted to so bad right now. She was angry and she felt tears go down her face.

"You..............I................ will......................never........................................love.........................................you.............." Raine gasped for breaths and all the strength she had just to say that much.
