all the youtube vids i see use the same strategy and apparently Aqua makes it easiest to pull off. i think he's similar to the Mysterious Figure in that outside of a couple cheap strategies its near impossible to fight fair.



notice i say near. kudos to those who can.

 

Because he'll pretty much do it after 1 hit, and decide to continue up his combo by doing another move and then killing because of his absurd strength.

So DW, for curiosity's sake, what cheap tactic did you use?

 

XD Sh*t!! That's the second time today you've made me laugh out loud and it's beginning to freak out my sister that I'm laughing at my computer...

 

I beat him today. You need to hit him immediately to stop that warping attack that causes blind when it hits you, and then you need to dodge until he uses the underground attack. When he jumps out and is shooting the fireballs, he's vulnerable to tornado. After using tornado twice, just hit him once with your keyblade and he goes down. Obviously this only works for Ventus.

 

Other than the fact that the main point of this strategy is centered around Ventus, you provided so excellent evidence that this boss can be defeated and without a cheap tactic. Though, like all secret bosses should be like, you can't hope to win without knowing your enemy and devising techniques to get around their offense. That's how I intend to fight Vanitas Remnant - my way.

 

Which rock? And does that only work with a certain character?

 

Oh wow your right that was surprisingly easy.

I wonder why he has so little health?

 

Probably to throw you off on your first fight. If I'd gone into the game without any prior knowledge of his strength, then gone to fight him, I would have looked at his health bar and thought, "This is going to be pathetically easy."

and also the low health is compensated by his ridiculously high defense.

 

no freaken way thats all hide behind a rock i can do that with the quickness too LOL
