Who here LIKES Xion???

well i didn't hate Xion, if anything 358 made me hate Roxas. but all the same Xion was just there to me. i didn't like her but i didn't hate her.

 

I view it like this. If the Kingdom Hearts series was an anime, Days was a filler storyline, and Xion was a one-shot filler character. She (and the events of the game itself) will be referred to rarely, and more often than not won't have much of an impact on the future plot of the series.

As for how I feel about her, she was an alright character. Well developed as the game went along, with the tragic ending of being destroyed by the one she considered her best friend, as well as her entire existence being wiped from everyone's memories.

 

well it's guarenteed actually that she will. whether or not its a big or small role is unknown but the BBS secret movie confirms a lot of 'dead' characters will play a significant role in KH3

 

No, I mean more that whatever and whenever her reappearance is, it won't be in a major role. Especially since her entire existence was erased from the worlds, memory and all.

 

I can see her having a moderate role,though it delves into theories for now on that.

While not playing the game i have read a good bit on the character and know the basic story,and she doesnt seem bad.Infact,it seemed more like she made sure she could do something good and get her friend out of the Organization.

Spoiler if you dont already know Also,she wasnt compltetly erased,there is a reason that Roxas can dualwield keyblades end spoiler.Though I think everyone knows now even if they didnt play.

 

HOW CAN YOU ASK THAT!? Well, I guess it's a little understandable, but still. Xion is sort of there to explain the events of the Organization up to when Roxas leaves. In fact, it gives a motivation for him to leave. And she was all around likable.

 

Exactly. Roxas wouldn't have much of a reason to leave with out her! She was the one who told him to stop Xemnas and release all the hearts from kingdom hearts!

All in all I think she was a great charecter. As much as I want her to I don't think she wall show up alot in other games unless somehow Roxas's and Ven's and Xions bodies get released somehow from sora you wont see them much unless they are loged into soras memories.

Xion played a very important part in 358/2. She had an important role and explaind a lot to me on why Roxas left the orginization. I have no reason to disslike her!I loved the game, but it was a downpoint of KH, but it's a hand held. And a game in my oppinion I can play over and over again. (At least it was better then CoM!!!)

 

Personally I did enjoy Xion as a character, and 358/2 Days was one of my favorite games in the KH series so far. I would like to see Xion comeback in other future games, how that would happen though, I have no idea but I would be super excited if she did pop up again, hopefully to help me kick a bosses butt!

 

I honestly don't see the reason NOT to like her, sure she may not have played that big a role in the KH series as a whole but she didn't destroy the whole storyline or was an evil dictator like Xemnas or Xehanort, so why not like her? personally as a female myself, I like to see heroines in video games that can kick ass and take names

 

Its mostly because people saw her as a Mary Sue,atleast a type of one.New character somehow has a keyblade,looks almost exactly like KH Kairi,runs into the arms of Axel/Roxas and stuff.Oh,and another girl keeping Axel and Roxas from getting together cause they so love each other and get it on everynight and day.

But yea,alot of that died down when the game came out.Except that last part,some people still use that argument.

 

I don't see anything wrong about her. She's gorgeous and i like her!

 

i wasn't a big fan to her because outside of the plot, she wasn't important. when you use her she's a carbon copy of Roxas. in the story she first whines who am i then starts whining i need to return to sora. now i know that was the whole point but it did get annoying.

 

Xion represents all that is opposite of Kairi, Sora and Namine. We can call her the "void" version or the character of nonexistence due to an identity crisis. She may wield a legendary weapon but she can't wield it's full potential. She may care for her friends, she tend to go on the destructive side of things. She's on the side of good but also on the side of chaos. She's emotionally determined like Sora but at the same time, secluded, confused and lost. In other words, she's a contradiction to herself while the supportion of herself and other characters.

That what makes her unique. Hopefully, Kairi would be playable; Right now, seeing Xion can temporarily make me be filled with joy.

 

all I have to say is that if Kairi is a playable character in any future KH games, then she better be just as good as Xion battlewise, sure Xion couldn't harness the full power of the keyblade, but she was still pretty powerful in her own right so Kairi's gonna have to live up to that standard in my eyes.

 

Xion fights like Sora and one keyblade Roxas right?I see Kairi fighting more like Aqua,atleast in using more magic.

I doubt we will get to play as her in any upcoming games,though she may be a party member or an escort mission that involves her where she can atleast protect herself (with a reaction command that makes it easy as well).

To SB,when does being part of Chaos make it harder to be good?Some of our favorite characters are both a part of chaos and still good guys.Being a part of order doesnt stop you from being evil,just as being a part of chaos doesnt stop you from being good.Also,caring for your friends and being destructive is not a contradiction,unless you constantly destroyed things precious to them.
