Lars didn't take not of Shane's entrance into the room; not immediately anyways. He was still massively preoccupied with the decor of the room. He knew it was strange to be so entwined with things so simplistic, especially for the others that had arrived with him. But to him, it was, and would likely always be, a life so far beyond his own that he simply could not comprehend....

"Name's Shane of Traverse Town. What about you?"

"Oh!" he said, finally realizing that his roommate was with him. "My name is Lars Maan." He felt an odd sensation about him, a scrapping feeling of not belonging, simply due to a general oddness of his name. How many people were out there with the name 'Lars?' and would that alone effect how far he could go here? "I don't rightly know what my home world was called. The village folk always knew what to call it, but I'm not one of them."

Turned away form Shane, looking instead at the four post, lofted bed along the right wall of the room, and pressing his free hand against it. It was another foreign sensation. His hand moved so easily against whatever it was that the bedding was made from, but it wasn't wiry like the old den beds had been. "Strange."

Nice to meet you Lars." Shane said. He then went on examining the room. It was small, but nice. He was just glad that he could have a place of his own. He took his suit case and opened it up. He sorted through his cloths for something he was craving. Then he finally found it. A soda. He was addicted. The only thing he loved more than soda was his parents. He then started putting his clothing into his drawers. Then he noticed something. It was a not in to third drawer down. He opened it. It read: For the next person who reads this, welcome! This is probably your first day at the Academy. You will injoy it greatly and will have great fun.
    Sincerely,
    John.

    That was his fathers name.

"Ooooh boy, you shouldn't drink that stuff too much young man, it is bad for your teeth!" Kane said as he burst in to the room still smoking his pipe, which didn't leave a bad smell as smoke usually does, it was more like sweet, as it would be noticed for it stayed quite long in the room's air before disappearing into the outside air from the windows. Kane examined the room until noticing Lars, and stared him for a bit before realizing it himself that it would be most likely unpleasant in the the first day that one of the teachers would already be hacing his eye on one of the students.

"Err... let's see here..." he said while biting his pipe making his speech seem bit more odd and oldish. "Lars and... Shane? Quite the special name you've got there Lars", he said as knowing in his mind that who of them was named that way, for it could be seen that the boy was a bit different than the other children. "And for you, Shane, I've got just the thing when you arrive at the potions class, herbal tea is MUCH more better than that bobbling drink of yours. And for the other point, I'll make sure you'll not get it while on your time here, ha!" He said as leaving their room to the hallway slightly laughing and clearing his throat before starting to announce his actual business in the dormitory.

"All boys - and possible girls - in the dormitory! Make it sure that you'll appear to the hall where Grandmaster is going to attend his welcome speech in three hours. Before that you will have nice and warm meal, let's see... in two hours!" After he had stated this, Kane checked all the rooms and left the dormitory, leaving the sweet scent of the herbs he had smoked.

Shane ignored Kane. The only thing that crossed his mind was to be in to main hall in three hours and in two hours that there would be the third thing he loved in life. Food! He decided it would be nice to get a sweep on the area, check things out. He looked across the room, Lars was still there. He picked up his bag and swiped the paper off his bedstand and put it into his bag. He walked his way to the door and looked back at Lars. He was going to invite him but he didn't want to disturb him. He ran off down the hall and down the stairs into the main court yard. He looked off the area at the girls dorms. He wondered if he would see that Skye girl again. He went to the nearest table and leaned back with a soda in his hand and enjoyed the next couple hours looking at the scenery.

OOC: I'll probably post this in the OOC thread as well, but it would be kind of weird if I made al lthe girl characters and stuff, I'll definately make a teacher, but can someone else create a girl character?

After a while, Skye left her dorm and looked at the map of the campus she had recieved and started heading towards the main hall where a speech would be given. She stopped on the path and looked around. There were many different dorms, different sport courts, then academy buildings. She also saw a battle arena and then looked to her left at the giant tower. She stared at in amazement and couldn't believe her eyes and magnificent structure of the tower. She slowly made her way to it and stared up at it in awe. She looked at the doors and could just picture her grandfather walk in their with authority. At the moment though there were guards standing by paying little attention to Skye. She slowly walked away.

"I'm where my grandfather started grew and eventually became a great master at, and now it's my turn..." Skye said thinking out loud smiling to herself before humming to a good tune and making her way to the main hall.

Shane knew he couldn't wait here forever. He Made his way to th great hall were the headmaster would speek with him and his peers. He wondered what. He would be like. Would he be a tough buff guy, or a small guy who was rich and got hired for his money. Either way he was exited to meet him so he could start his training. As he approached he noticed how gigantic the place was. It must tKe tons of skill to craft a place like this. He walked in And found himself next to a girl with blond hair. It was Skye! "Hay nice to see you again!" Shane said just a tad bit loud. He couldn't help it.he had done it since he was little.

Skye looked over at him and faced him. 'He's pretty loud.' She thought to herself and smiled at the boy. "Hey there. Yeah and I guess so." She said laughing. "What's up, did you get settled in your room yet?" Skye asked him. She glanced at the wall and noticed the shadow casted on it from the window, it was a sun clock. She couldn't believe it. They had another hour before the grandmaster's speech. "Hey we should go find the grandhall. The grandmaster will be giving his speech there in about an hour." She told him looking at all the students walking to a hallway. She started walk towards the direction as well and noticed the huge grand doors with many students gathered outside of it.

Sai had left his room, heading for the cafeteria. He had found it and grabbed a plate and drink before sitting in the park area to eat. He preferred eating outside when he had the chance. As Sai started eating, he thought about the school. This place is huge, far to grand for somebody like me. I just hope that I don't screw up something. I mean, I was never supposed to be here in the first place. And now I'm stuck here with all the students that actually have talent. After the headmaster gives his speech, I'll ask him if he could send me back.

Peter was finishing putting up his clothes in his closet, having taken most of his things out of his bag already. While clothes made up the bulk,a few other items laid scattered on his desks.A couple books about ghosts,an alarm clock that had yet to be plugged in,and a small black cat plushie.

"Well, thats everything."Peter said to himself before looking around the room, seeing Sai had already left."I might as well too, wont be long before my stomach makes me anyways."He said to himself with a small smile before leaving his dorm, making sure it was locked behind him.The key for him had been on top of the desk, though he still almost hadn't seen it.'Wouldn't do me good to lock myself out.' He thought to himself with a sigh, knowing that he probably would eventually.

Once he arrived at the cafeteria he got himself some food and water before sitting down at a table.Suprisingly there were not many people around, though he guessed that most of them were either in their dorms or were already at the grandhall.

As Shane walked his way slowly towards grand hall he replied to Skye's questions. "Ya, I got settled in, it's pretty nice. I even found a note in my drawr. It was from my dad. He must have had the same room as me, which is kind of cool. Shane heared his belly growling. Oh know. He had forgot to eat. He was to focused on finding his way to the grand hall that he forgot. He guessed he was going to have to wait for food till morning. He went on walking when he finnaly made it to the grand hall. It was magnificent. It looked even cooler from the inside. The cieling was painted skillfully. It showed three great blades two like his. One had a silver rod, and the other had a golden. The one in the middle was different though. It was dark black. He wondered who they belonged to. Or whom they would belong to.

Lily unpacked her things in her room and looked at the stuff her roommate had put out. Apparently her roommate was in such a hurry for something she unpacked and left before Lily even got to meet her. She didn't really mind though, she'd meet this 'Skye' eventually. Lily just hoped she wasn't loud. Lily grabbed a notebook and walked outside to th courtyard where she saw many other people just enjoying the day. A few were eating, and few were talking and some were just relaxing. Lily gave a slight smile and opened her notebook as she pulled out a pencil. She gave another look around and then began to lightly sketch in her notebook. Until the headmaster's speech, she felt content to draw whatever came to her mind.

How awkward it was, the strange and colorful people in whose presence Lars had found himself. His roommate seemed well collected, and certainly posed no threat at the moment. He gathered that it would only start that way. Fellow clan members always started off that way, before their aggression started showing… But that much, he was used to, to say the least. Lars, through a small observation, gathered that his roommate was essentially indifferent to their lodging. “Mhmmm,” said, not really knowing much of what he was thinking.

Then, the older man had come into a room. To too, was an oddity, and perhaps the oddest oddity of all, for his attitude was… a bit out there. He seemed laid back, and was out of place simply out of his age. Lars wondered, at first, who the man was to be coming in so suddenly, and with the half-scolding remarks. But this curiosity subsided after the man had left the room, and announced the plans for the evening. He must be a master, Lars thought. How he could have made it that far with his nature is beyond me though. I guess I’ll have to trust for now.

By the time he pulled himself from the confines of his own thoughts, he realized that Shane had already departed for the Main Hall. It didn’t matter much though. Lars would have time to socialize later, if the need arose. Leaving behind his scant supply of personal belongings, he walked down the hall, and exited the dorms into the courtyard, where several people had gathered, likely for the sake of traveling to the Main Hall when the time came. He estimated that they all had about an hour before the opening speech.

So, with no other way to pass the time, Lars sat down upon a marble ledge, and watched the activities of the others. Some were huddled in groups, talking to one another about the opportunities ahead. Others were enjoying a quick snack before the evening’s activities. Others seemed to be just kicking back, for they knew that the days ahead would be rough. But one person in particular caught Lars’ eyes. A young girl, maybe a bit younger than he, sat on the opposite end of the courtyard writing something into a notebook.

As he had so often done with the villagers back home, he quietly observed this girl from afar. Not anything malicious, but really, just a bit curious, since she was doing something that no one else in the courtyard was.

Skye nodded. "I guess it'll be a while until we have to go in, so who's your roommate?" She asked glad to be making friends and wanted to make more. She turned around and started walking out to the courtyard and looked around at the many people. Skye then noticed the girl sketching in her notebook. There weren;t many girl's around as she would have expected and was happy to see the few she did see, but wondered about her roommate, if she even had one yet. She looked back at Skye though, "so where's your roommate?"

Peter had finished eating and decided to walk around for a bit until it was time for the speech. There were many new students like him around,so he was sure that he could follow them if he had to.

Eventually he made it to the courtyard himself, seeing a good bit of people were there.Finding an area that had the least amount of people around,he layed down in a shaded area and put his hands behind his head.'This is a nice place so far, though I wonder if I will be able to make it through here. Then again, who knows what the future holds.'He thought to himself.

Sai just finished eating when a few knights came into the courtyard followed by lots of students. "Would all newcomers follow us to the auditorium! It's time for the headmaster to address all of you and welcome you to the school." Sai sighed but got up and followed them. Lily also stopped drawing in her book and got up to follow them as well. The knights led all the students to a large room. A stage at one end and multiple rows of chairs facing it. As the students filed in Sai and Lily ended up sitting next to each other. The two glanced at each other before facing the stage. They saw an old man standing there smiling at everyone. Sai and Lily just waited, it was obvious the headmaster was gong to wait for everyone to be seated before he began speaking.

As the other masters were seated behind the Headmaster in the stage, Kane walked up next to Vortio putting his hand in front of his mouth as he began to whisper to him.

"You noticed that boy from... where was it again? From the tribes, I bet. The boy who holds the power of the Keyblade from so far away from civilization like ours." He stopped whispering and began to clean his pipe with a white scrap of silk. "I'm not meaning as that he's not civil and proper, but I bet it is going to be hard on him to settle down at the academy, sharing a roommate and all these things we have... you should talk to him", Kane said as he stood next to Vortio waiting for the students to arrive. Some of the older students waved to him and lazily nodded to them while smiling. This disturbed some of the new students as he noticed it himself.

Relieved that his idle staring had not been noticed, Lars left the courtyard, following the small herd of fellow students to the auditorium. The experience was very similar to running in packs back home. The only difference as that there was nothing, that any of them were aware of, that was trying to hunt them down. That made the situation more awkward for him though, for it was a bit too slow of a pace for him when matched against the frantic movements of the packs in their runs from hunters. Again, all he could say was, “weird.”

The auditorium was perhaps the grandest thing he’d seen so far on the campus, save for the campus layout itself. But he was far too preoccupied with the people around him to really take in the artistry of the room. There were hundreds of other students, and several Masters, the latter being seated upon the stage at the front of the hall. From his spot in the crowd, Lars could make out the familiar appearance of the master that had greeted him in his room earlier as well as a few of the faces he had seen in the courtyard.

Guided by a helpful Knight, Lars edged his way into a seat near the center of the auditorium, and waited intently for the headmaster to begin his speech.

Vortio smiled at the the students. In an undertone he addressed Kane. "It will be alright Kane. I will speak to the boy when the time comes. For now we should let him get used to his new surroundings. Now please take your seat, it is time for my speech to the students." He said as he noticed the last of the students sit down. Vortio walked up and held his hand up to make the students quiet down.

"Greetings and welcome to the Academy. You all have been chosen by the great and powerful Keyblade because each of you possess unique skills that it believes will help the universe for the greater good. And believe me when I say, the Keyblade is never wrong in it's choices. Some of you are new to any schooling, others may feel overwhelmed by what you now hold, and some of you may not understand a word I am speaking; but that is natural. You were all brought here so we can teach you; teach you spells and combat, teach you to mix potions and elixers of life, to teach you what it means to wield a Keyblade." Vortio smiled and made his own keyblade appear in his hand. "This is my Keyblade. Like you, it chose me when I was young. I was overwhelmed at the thought of just holding one of these legendary weapons. But then I was brought to the Academy. Like now, I listened while the Headmaster gave his own speech about the Academy. And like now, I hardly understood a word he said." Vortio said with a chuckle. He smiled at all of the students as he made his keyblade vanish. "We all come from different places, but we all share one thing. The one thing that makes the Keyblade choose us out of all the others of the universe. We are all pure beings of the light, loyal and just friends, helpers of the weak and helpless; we are all strong hearted people. So listen when I say the Keyblade is never wrong. After your time here, all of you will go on to do great things. Some will fight off evil, some will protect the worlds, and some will stay here and teach the new generation like we did." Vortio said as he motioned to the teachers behind him. "Just remember, all of us are here to help and teach. Now go, spend the rest of this day getting to know your classmates and the academy. Your classes begin tomorrow."

Vortio smiled and headed back to the teachers. "Well then, shall we go introduce ourselves to the students?"

Skye heard the knight and followed them. Thes students were led into the auditorium. She went into an aisle and next to a boy who kept glanincg around awkwardly. She looked at him and took in his details. She was curious when she did, he seemed like he wasn't comfortable. Always aware of his surroundings. She looked to her front where a boy and girl sat. She signaled to Shane to sit down next to her. She went to introduce herself to the students around her but then she heard someone begin to speak. She look forward at the speaker as he introduced himself.

'That's the headmaster?! Woah!' she thought to herself. She slowly began to take in what he was saying. She nodded understanding most of it. She watched as he summoned his keyblade, it was an amazing looking keyblade."Woah..." She said to herself.

Peter started to get up soon after the knights had given their announcment, following the others, noticing Sai in the crowd farther up then him. When he entered the auditorium, thinking of sitting next to his roomate, but the seats near him were already taken.Finding a seat closer to the back,he took it and leaned back as the last of the students entered.

    *After speech*

"Pure beings of the light, huh?Sounds strange, knowing my world." Peter said to himself with a small smile. It was just a joke to him,he knew his world was a good world, despite being close to the darkness.Seeing others walking around,he decided to find Sai.He spotted him and a girl near him in a few seconds.Hey Sai!"He said to him as he walked up to the two.
