So, I was looking through the music I have stored on my laptop (my MP3 player is MIA), and I realized that I have a few songs that are somewhat (or mostly) lame, that I wouldn't necessarily admit to liking or listening to. And I figured, everyone else probably has at least one song that they sing along to, even though they might look around first to make sure no one can hear them.

    So spill. :p

Probably one of the dumbest songs I have on my comp is MMMBop by Hanson. Anyone remember them? They were a boy band in the late 90s- although actually, I can remember arguing with some girl friends over them, because I couldn't believe they weren't girls. Anyways, I heard this song recently out, and it got stuck in my head. It's stupid but catchy. And whatever, I kinda like it. XD

I like listening to some 90's pop, like Backstreet Boys, N*Sync, A*Teens, and, my personal favorite, Aaron Cater. This is because I liked them growing up and still have sort of a soft spot for them.

I like some country songs, but the one I'm really embarrassed about is "You Belong With Me" by Taylor Swift.

And then there is this one 90's pop song I recently found out about which is "You Oughtta Know" by Alanis Morissette. i recently found out abut this though two mediums. One, Weird Al, who is an absolute geinius at what he does, and Rock Band 2.

Ha, I've got some BSB and N*Sync on my computer, too. I also have a soft spot for (80s and) 90s pop, for the nostalgia.

I've got the Pokemon the First Movie soundtrack in my library. 'Course, now there's only like two songs I like on it.

Not music wise, but I am currently working through digimon frontier.

    I'm 18 and a half now. I need a job. -_-

And yes, I am the all serious Zerieth. You all now have something not serious on me. Congrats.

I bet one of them is M2M's Don't say you Love me =P

As for me, all my guilty pleasures come from a few Simpson OST's I have. Growing up with them, I've learnt most of the songs (at least all of those before the show became shockingly terrible) off by heart. Oh, and also Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers Theme Song. I remember I used dance to that song whenever I put the video in the VCR back in 1994. Still catchy ^^

Would being 18 and still playing Pokemon games count?

    Pokemon's such a good game, I wouldn't hide it

country music, plain and simple, and I'm not talking country rock when there are a few good titles through that, I'm talking straight down country music because I've grown up with my mom controlling the radio having country music on now majority of country music songs I know and find myself beating out the rthym

Disney music is just plain awesome, there's no need to feel guilty about liking it. XD

:D Looking back at photos now, it's pretty obvious that all three are male, though the younger two are pretty effeminate, but when I was a retarded 12 year old, after hearing their voices on the radio, I couldn't believe it.

This reminded me of one- Don't Take the Girl by Tim McGraw. Now, I hate country music, except the occasional Taylor Swift song, and anyway, some of her stuff is more pop, in my opinion. But when I was little, I had a friend who freakin' loved this song, and she'd sing it ALL the time. And against that kind of exposure, I had no choice but to learn to like it. XD

Please tell me you have a reason behind it, and not just hate it because of stereotypes. And that you've actually listened to it (Which could add to not liking it).

    Obviously, big fan.

Another thing I'm guilty of and I still love no matter what is now and then I'll hum, whistle, or randomly starting singing some Beatles tune like Here Comes the Sun or something. Now majority of people love the Beatles, and I'm sure we've all sung it once, but the minute you do it in public, never fails you get one perked eye brow of "what the heck are you singing" but I shall continue onto singing Beatles tunes.

Yes, I've listened to it. 'Course this is all my opinion, but I find that a lot of country music feels too familiar. Yeah, a lot of music, in all of the genres, deal with the same themes- women and money, a lot of the times it feels like, listening to the radio- but with country music, moreso than other kinds, I feel like if I've heard one song, I've heard them all. Now, I know that's not fair, and if I looked into the music more, I'd see that, but honestly, it doesn't interest me enough to do so. It just doesn't hook me.
