    So as all of you know, there are two main RP'ing style (three if you count the RP arena) but which RP'ing style do you prefer. Original or Canon.

    If you like Original what type of original? Science fiction, fantasy, super heroes, etc.?

    If you like canon what canon? Video Games, Kingdom Hearts, TV Shows, Movies, books, etc.?

    VentusSearcher Steam is the only way....

    I like the KH ones the best. I like them because I just love Kingdom Hearts and it kind of lets me step into the world of KH, and I really like it. Another reason I think I like KH ones is that I participate in them more than any other type.

    I generally try to seek out the Original works more so than the canon ones. Though, most of the canon RPs here fall under KH RPs, which are pretty numerous as it is. I've found that it's getting harder and harder to find a KH RP that's any good these days, since most of the interesting stuff that could have been done has been done already. If there was a wider variety of canon based RPs on this particular site, I'd be on those. But unfortunately, there isn't. So I stick to waiting for a good original one, though most of the original RPs here seem to be the same deal.

    Wait so what type of original and canon?

    Me I'm sort of weird, I love a good original RP, but I'm more involved in more canon RP's with KH, plus from seeing with my own eyes those tend to be most successful. So I'm a torn person, but leaning more towards canon a tad.

    I like KH RPs that don't suck. 'Nuff said. I've got one that's up to like page 500 and counting once my counterpart gets her computer fixed..

    I would like it if there were some roleplays that's not always about some KH. It's starting to take the fun out of roleplaying to me in my opinion. I would rather prefer original. You can create your own characters that's unique in your own way to contribute to the storyline. The plot really don't matter.

    As for canon, it really don't bother me but the problem is that even though the title says KH or Final Fantasy or blah blah blah, once you make a character that's unique, there's something real weird aobut how the plot starts going and it can make some people do some things that they don't mean to do sometimes.

    Actually, plot DOES matter just as much in an original RP. What if the creator has the flow of things in mind already??

    Precisely. If there is no plot, people scramble around trying to be the main character and have side plots. Too many side plots drift away from the original intention and screw up RPs. And I'd guess that at least half, if not more, are just really crappy side plots.

    Maybe we should do some rock, paper, scizzors thing to decide who'll be the main character...

    Anyway, I like original rps more. I prefer the more realistic ones but have many possibilities that can turn into sci-fi or superhero or both types.
