Regarding Activity

well, I think we should start a news channel on youtube. Also I really think that limiting the forum to just Kingdom Hearts is making the site suffer.

 

I guess I did lost my mind. The things I did and the things I see on this site shows me that there are some sections that are not cared for. Also, I stated that a few of them may work like inviting friends and maybe making more tournaments but anything else, I just don't see it anymore. Oh well. If I irritated you, I'm sorry but this is my opinion. See logic? So what? I gave up doing my best to do what the site can gain benefits from. I'm just staying in a member's place just like you and the other staff members wanted me to do. "Do not worry. Leave the problems to the staff members." That's what I did and that's what I attended to stick with since everything I try to do will just end up going worse anyways. Well, from doing that, I really just stop caring about what kind of ideas I have and just let you and anyone else take care of it. My personality changed a lot just from losing a interest in having members having fun and all of that. I care about all of you so don't get me wrong but to actually see work get done and I tried to do that myself, I just don't have confidence anymore so try to prove me wrong and show me that all of this can be possible. This is my opinion really so if it makes some of you think negative of me and just wants you to stop respecting me, oh well. Just don't let my opinion based on what I tried to do and the point of view that I'm seeing make you upset and think that it would never work.

 

You can try to have people be here who loves to talk about games that some people may never heard of or at least try to have the entertainment section be more active.

 

I'm not a big part of this forum by any means so please excuse me for not reading the majority of this thread but personally I only come for the Digital Showcase section (partly because I'm a newb and never figured out how to not auto-subscribe to threads; my email was getting spammed lulz). I check every day but posts don't go by in there for weeks at a time it seems. But, then again, and no disrespect to Toph or anyone else who moderates that section, it wasn't managed very well and kept up to date. My old Sotw entry from Valentine's Day is still lurking on the bottom of the forum rofl. Because I only visit that section I can't advocate for the forum as a whole but perhaps it's not just a lacking member count that is the only issue. A bit more effort in maintaining events is key.

 

If someone can guide me by VM's or PM's or whatever 'M's as to how to disable the autosubscribe feature then I'd be more than happy to post around more.

 

Well you have my word I'll participate in it every time =]. And I'm not blaming you or anyone who had to do with running it, I'm just sayin' ;D. You've put one of the biggest efforts out of anyone to keep it running. I know I'm starting to go off topic here but if someone can give Toph the ability to do what needs be done that'd be lovely . Anyways, I suppose that regards everything I'm bound to put forth in this thread.

 

Diversify with topics that can be actively posted in. There isn't much of a music section here (I think?) but you are always listening to music, right? Most of the forum is based on KH which, even though it's a KH forum, is not ideal. That basically forces activity to revolve around the series' activity and the only self-supporting active thing this forum has going for it is the design section and the RPG section. The design section is dead as I've already addressed but your RPG section is alive and well so that's a positive. Still, if someone doesn't like to RP there isn't much left to do here. You can only talk about how much you like Namine more than Kairi for so long, y'know? That's what keeps people here after they've joined. An art based area, forum games, music, manga (that's actually a popular topic, believe it or not), stuff like that. I know you have the traditional showcase that collectively has music and writing and such but that's not enough to promote life there. It's like giving a kid a room and saying, "hey this is for other stuff have fun bye". It just doesn't work. Needs more promotion there. Competition in general is also a plus to community activity.

 

If you wan't new members, you guys should start promoting on Advertising forums.
